I want Baltimore to win but I think NE pulls it out today, especially with Welker back.

I think Baltimore's a better team (this year), but NE has a way of salvaging zesty games.

Post by: Munson on October 04, 2009, 01:30:41 PM
Exactly my thoughts. They're 2-1 and already lost to the Jets, I just can't really see them falling to 2-2. But Baltimore already has the lead 7-3. I'm starting Flacco and Moss so a shootout would be nice.

Cutler scrambled and ran in a TD, and got flipped and spun around in mid air.

Yeah, so the Giants were just given a touchdown. What a zesty farging call that was.

Ridiculous penalty call in the NYG/Chiefs game. Steve Smith went up for a ball over the middle and got hit pretty good in the arm/chest...the hit was all shoulder and forearms from the KC defender but the refs still called unnecessary roughness. They are trying to turn football into soccer.

NYG Steve Smith has looked like a real player so far this year.

Mike Nuget will be unemployed as soon as this game is over.

0-2 on FGs again today.

Mike Sims-Walker just got a TD given to him, total gift call.

The ref said "he got three feet down". WTF? :sly

Shhh. I picked him up off the FA this week in my main league and started him with Boldin on bye.

Knox took the opening kickoff of halftime to the house to give Chicago the lead. 28-21 at the beginning of the 3rd. The Lions and Bears in a shootout?

Jacksonville is tearing Tenn apart. This year might be the end of the Jeff Fisher era there. 0-4 after being the best team record wise in the NFL.

Eli dropped back, planted, then went down in a heap after throwing the ball grabbing at his heel....Moose just said he was on the sidelines standing on the ball of his foot, but the Eagles might get a free shot at this division if he is out for any extended period of time.

Total non contact injury, but they are calling it a sprained heel.

Hard to believe they haven't been able to do it on Detroit before today.

When they have bums like Jim Miller and Henry Burris starting at QB over the years, its not possible.

Oh my god...the Chiefs are terrible. Horrible team.
Title: Re: 2009 Week 4
Post by: Munson on October 04, 2009, 03:56:01 PM
There is a good race going on for worst team between Chiefs and Rams right now. The Titans can't be as bad as their 0-4 record says, but damn.*

*Just saw they get it within 13....don't think 5 minutes will be enough time for that offense though.

Matt Stafford out of the game with a knee injury...no word on how serious

Kind of starting to feel bad for that organization, especially in that city.

Cutler's completed a pass to 9 different guys, Stafford/Culpepper to 10.

Holy farg....Cincy...how bad are you?!?!?!

Palmer scrambles to find Ocho for the tying TD.

And Rogers blocks the second kick (one XP, one FG) of the day!

tied 20-20 rather than CIN being up 21-20

Flacco's trying to lead the comeback in NE. Down 27-21 at the two minute warning, ball on the New England 37.

how the hell do you stand toe to toe with pitt one week and then shtein the bed against a team like cleveland the next week?  i thought that was a skill only posessed by the eagles.

Cowboys are just a fundamentally bad team.  They're trying to score before the end of the half, but make no effort to speed up the offense, and Romo is smiling like he's up by 20.  I farging hate them

ended up being a great 2nd half.  for whatever reason, pitt just can't close out games this year.  sexualharassmentburger is a money qb though.

The one constant between the two halves is that the San Diego defensive line looked like shtein. I guess SD should have gone for another onsides there near the end.

same here, worst part was the guy i bought my tickets from sat next to us, and wanted us to walk out when they were kicking.  We were walking and stopped to look at the TV in the concourse on our way out of the stadium.  All the sudden you heard the building start shaking, and iran out to the 50ydline and saw the td runback.  Crazy day
