He's done.
He can't stay any definition of the word healthy, he can barely stay in playing shape and when he does play he's frankly not all that good anymore. We are still evaluating Westbrook as a player on a scale that is a few years old. He is nowhere near the player he used to be.
Thank god for McCoy.
Hence the Eagles not signing his option.
Well not really, they never had any intention of picking that up and Westbrook knew it.
That was pretty much a complete non story.
somebody read the paper today
his vorp is like ninety ten, though...
i dont know what done means and even if i did it would be to early to know
the guy had ankle surgery 90 days ago
lets say done= he is basically an average back now
farthest id be willing to go is to say that his ankle might be right for the rest of the season and because of that he might be "done" for this year...but even that is a stretch right now...give him off sunday lets see what he looks like after the bye before we proclaim anything
Nah he's done.
either way it was definitely worthy of a thread
i agree.
Westbrook's stats for 2 games:
26 attempts
116 yards
4.5 ypc
long run of 17yards
0 TDs
He's ranked 25th in attempts. The only players with less attempts and more yards are MaGahee(123 yds), Buckhalter(122) (giggle) and Felix Jones(118).
Not exactly amazing stats, but then again 26 for 116 and 4.5 ain't too bad minus the TD's. He has only had 26 attempts people. Not that many chances to show you what he has. Relax
jihadist monk = douche
Westbrook looked pretty good in the first game, and barely touched the ball in the second one. Let him rest up before we call him cooked.
Not willing to stuff him and toss him in the oven yet.
He's still pretty damn good.
Yeah Monk I don't know what the hell you were watching in week 1 but the difference between this offense with a healthy 36 and an unhealthy 36 is beyond obvious.
worst thread ever.
I, for one, agree with jihadist monk. Westbrook is done.
You, for once, should shut your taint

According to you, he's been done since his first knee surgery when he was 8.
Done, I say!
Your dishes are done!
Westbrook isn't done. The problem is that he needs to be 100% to have that extra gear that separates him from other rbs. And he's usually not 100%.
Otherwise, he's a little more than serviceable most weeks, but that's it. Probably we could say he's done as an elite back, at least for the majority of his playing time.
No, no, not done. Westbrook has taking a farging beating over his career. No, he can't carry the team like he used to but he is still a threat and I'll take him in a heart beat.
not done but on the downside of his career.
ok i just stated the obvious.
I still say he looks like Kanye West.
i always though he looked like russell from the cosby kids.
Racist.
impossible, i'm color blind.
So we are all in agreement that Westbrook and his constant injuries are more of a burden than a plus right?
i think we all agree youre a burden to the planet and your immediate death would be a plus for mankind

No.
What's Westbrook's VORP and which player in the NFL compares most?
Probably McNabb.
McCoy>>>>Westbrook
You are insane.
He was right.....at least for today.
the promise from the younger players on offense is there. not so sure on defense.
Macho Harris strikes fear into opposing offenses
hmmm, that was close to funny.
