Title: Tony Curtis, Philadelphia Eagle
Post by: DH on August 25, 2009, 07:57:04 AM
No link, but its as per GCobb. The former Cowboy TE..

6'5", 260 and he can block.  Bye bye Rob Myers.

Sucks.

I'd rather give Myers more time.

Why would anyone care about either Tony Curtis or Rob Myers, whoever the hell he is?

How many remember that Tony Curtis is also a former Eagle?  He was a fourth or fifth rd pick or some such foolishness.  I think he mounts a strong challenge and possibly makes Myers better.

Check that it was Tony Stewart.  I don't know who this guy is.  Can't even find him on the NFL.COM website.

He's already injured as well:

QuoteCurtis apparently suffered a high ankle sprain about 2.5 weeks ago before Chiefs cut him. Will continue rehabbing w/ Eagles.

And a ha ha:
QuoteChiefs released TE Tony Curtis
Tight end is one of the weakest positions on Kansas City's roster and coach Todd Haley had Curtis in Dallas, so this is a big indictment of Curtis' ability.

No doubt the undersized cracker linebacker they use the 3rd rounder on next year will be lights out good
