Thursday 8pm national FOX (Albert/Moose/Goose)
NFL Network replays on Friday at 1pm and next Thursday at 10am
The "starters" (what's left of them) will play the first half
OL = Dunlap/Cole/Jackson/MJG/Justice
All of the following are out: Vick, Kolb, Westbrook, Peters, Andrews x2, Herremans, T.Cole, Howard, Gaither, Sheldon
With that offensive line, Reid should probably hold McNabb out too
What is wrong with Howard, OG and Sheldon?
The OL is going to be a huge worry. Is McNabb having nightmares about King Dunlap and Winston Justice?
Dwight Freeney vs King Dunlap = snap goes the fibula
buck and aikman are still fox's number one team right?
Yep. As far as I know.
I keep forgetting Justice is still on the team.

Then this is the game Reid should just have him hand off to Buckley and McCoy.

yea they did some changes to teams 3 thru end. awful announcing had the details like 2 weeks ago. google that.
Get through the half without McNabb getting murder-death-killed = victory
With that O line and our injury plagued camp / preseason ........... start Feeley
farg that. Start Kolb. Get him killed. Pay his family a settlement that is equal to the remaining value of his contract and call it a win.
...or have Vick fight Kolb and Feeley and then drown the loser.......
Why don't we just skip all the foreplay and drown them all.
6 of the Colts' starters will be missing too:
-- Vinatieri
-- Bob Sanders
-- Raheem Brock (broken hand)
-- Antoine Bethea (broken hand)
-- Kelvin Hayden (hamstring)
-- Robert Mathis (thigh)
Their rarely-used backup QB Jim Sorgi won't play either...
When isn't Brittle Bob Sanders hurt?
SunMo should have started this thread.
Raheem Brock. Three syllables that infuriate me to no end.
Dude. There just wasn't enough money to pay him. He's barely even a starter for a perennial playoff team and championship contender.
Just think, if they had signed him we could be talking about what a douche he is for holding out or demanding to be traded now.
hes a nice player but hed be just another "bullett" in the chamber and wouldnt solve their problem of not having a LEGIT #1 16 game every down end
that said im with dio in that his name infuriates me...not cause they lost him but just how ridiculopus what they did was...pretty much on par with not getting your card up to the podium in time
Quote from: ice grillin you on August 20, 2009, 08:13:37 AMpretty much on par with not getting your card up to the podium in time
yep. the fact that he turned out to be a pretty good player is salt in the wound.

All too easy... :evil

Abiamiri is finally stepping on the field.
and shattering his ankle when he does so
this 7 on 7 practice is awesome
damn, samuel almost had that one
and he gives up a td to Gonzalez the next play
Moose probably has the worst tan i've seen in football. He looks like he has jaundice
Colts made that look all too easy.
i put little stock in preseason and could less about that drive or if the d 3 and outed manning for the whole quarter but the fact is this defense this year is going to be pretty damn bad....the lack of talent is appalling
nice answer by the offense.
btw, it's farging painful watching andy reid walk up and down the sideline
do you hate it more or less than mcnabb giggling at everything
more
ellis hobbs is having a stellar game
Bout time somebody showed some life.
is jason babin a really tan white guy, a really light black guy, or a greaseball italian playing football?
Still ain't running the ball worth a dime but at least Donnie hasn't been murderized yet.
hes whiter than you
lol, Freeny decided to play on the that 3rd down. that spin move was sick.
And there you go. Best thing is Freeney didn't even knock the ball loose. It was his highness.
Rocca looks great. Everyone else is ass.
The most tallented team in the NFL sure looks like it tonight.
bill belichek is smarter than andy reid
Hobbs wasn't even in the frame on that one.
that's been established quite a few times

for some reason i saw myers and thought it was LJ
Shady does give me a boner on the screenplay
PIMP
The only holes this line is opening up are in their asses.

love reid and McCoy talking bout plays, reminds me of Westbrook talking to reid.
Ok that was the ish. If only the defense can get it movin.

If they get moving now it's against the second string.
So Andy never calls two consecutive runs even in the preseason?
Does everyone else have a slightly glitchy HD feed from time to time? Guess it's the preseason for FOX also.
i will say Akeem Jordan is really standing out tonight, as he did last season.
QB... you have direct tv? my pic seems to slow up like i'm playing a video game at times

What kind of refresh rate do you have on your tv?
Babin is about the only guy that's really doin somethin on defense.
DLP...refresh isnt a problem, its the feed. Whether my dish is out of alignment or that its slightly rusted might be the issue
Babin = New McDougle.

Getting the same thing as you, over Comcast Pittsburgh. Must be the feed.
has there ever been a less talked about high draft pick than trevor laws
he isnt mentioned for sucking like a cobb
or getting hurt like a mcdougle
and he certainly isnt being singled out for being a player but at the same time no one really is calling him a bust
pretty much the last person who dropped his name was roger goodell
its really weird

Not for the Eagles. Another guy I forgot was on the team.

From what I've seen from him, he's as average as it gets, not going to hurt you, but not going to really help either.
The second team D is farging awful..
My Fox feed is farging up now too.
Other than the fumble the defense has forced just one stop.
Ha. Just as Trevor Laws gets dragged by a tiny tailback for three yards.

and since everyone else's feed seems to suck, maybe its just fox. I blame obama

Defense didn't really force that fumble either. From what I saw, Manning made a mistake trying to ground it.
Jesus. Did you see how bad Laws got mugged on that dump off?
Simpson's shoulder just blew up
ive been watching more of the phils than eagles but my feed has been fine whenever ive switched to the birds

You're right. They basically had a Mamula and got lucky.
reid does not look happy...and looks extremely sweaty for being in a dome...even for his fat ass
Is this the same line that started? What the farg happened? Feeley is getting the shtein kicked out of him.
Buckley farging hits the hole hard. I like the dude. Reid needs to just pound the rock with this line. Feeley running for his life again.

Roof's open
I know its just preseason but the defense looks terrible. Just god awful.
i didnt even know the colts had a new stadium
got it last year
and what happened to Weaver's knee?
Here come the penalties again. I like this Buckley Kid. He may not be that big physically but he plays a lot bigger than he is and that's what counts.
Quote from: Magical_Retard on August 20, 2009, 09:20:16 PM

Maybe things are different under Caldwell, but under Dungy the Colts were a consistently AWFUL preseason team. Dungy purely used the preseason to evaluate individual players and put zero effort into calling any kind of consistent game or trying to get the team working together as a unit. There was never any excuse for looking like shtein against the Colts in the preseason.
So I don't know whether this horrible Eagles performance means anything or not.
it means nothing...but that doesnt change the fact that the eagle defense will not be good this year
macklin was a pretty sick athlete in college and its just amazing how pimp is just on another universe as far as athleticism goes as he is
DESEAN JACKSON IS A fargING PIMP
now the game is completely out for me...and i assume everyone

thats ironic cause i was able to type it without thinking at all
1st half thoughts:
D looks bad. Babin did good. Demps is going to piss me off all year I just know it. I miss Dawkins already
McNabb looked good, so did Mccoy
DJacks got it
Weaver possibly blowing his knee out hilarious. Brown getting two retard penalties, LOLz
trotter just had a nice pick in the endzone
I thought you had to have both feet down to have possession of the ball.
DiMichele coming in. Get Todd
Butterfingers Maclin is starting to concern me.
Weaver blew his knees?
Can Vick play FB?
did he really blow out his knee?
dunno yet
Damn, I missed him getting hurt.
This team is zesty.
Gibson TD + 2-pt conversion to Myers...23-15
zzzzzzzzz
lol @ fireworks after a preseason win
Weaver = sprained MCL
Hobbs = sprained ankle
postgame on PE.com....Andy's pissed
Pissed about what?
The sloppy play?
Turnovers?
Penalties?
Good...he should be pissed. They have looked like a frat house toilet bowl two weeks in a row. And in practice too.
he said what he saw out there was unacceptable and he wouldn't use injuries as an excuse...."the players are paid to play, and the coaches are paid to coach..."
good, i didn't miss anything.
Hmmm Peyton Manning burns the D for 2 TDs. How many times does this happen to even the best defenses during the regular season. One was perfect pass, the other was a bad play call and Demps blew his coverage.
no, mussa... they're the worstest defense ever! worstest i say!

Demps was farged on that play there is no way he can cover two guys. Hobbs bit hard on the play action. Not to mention the fact the guy on the other side of the field was wide open as well.

from what I saw Mikell was deep in the replay on the right side. unless the play called for demps to drop to the middle, it made no sense because hobbs did what samuel did and cover that short zone, or whatever you call it.
It doesn't really matter the guy on the other side of the field was wide open too.
shut your mouth before i farg it
:-D
