Title: Ripped Off on Ebay
Post by: Tomahawk on July 08, 2009, 02:26:03 PM
Anybody else been screwed over by a seller on ebay?

I paid $205 for a center console for the Riviera on May 12th. About a month later, he promised to refund the $55 for shipping. A couple weeks later he responded to my e-mail with an apology and promise to make it right. After that two more e-mails went unanswered so like a prick I submitted a claim through Paypal. Has anybody done that? Does it work or do I lose my money?

I thought Canadians were supposed to be nice; not jackasses. Be wary if bidding on a item sold by blackdiamondautosport

If it was through PayPal and the seller doesn't respond, PayPal withdraws the amount from their account.  If they don't have any funds in it, it won't kick in until they do.

So I may or may not be screwed. If I were him, I'd just close my paypal account and laugh at the suckers who gave me money
