Title: Ken Parrish, Philadelphia Eagle
Post by: Father Demon on May 28, 2009, 03:10:49 PM
Thread worthy.
The Philadelphia Eagles have signed P Ken Parrish and have released P Sam Swank, the team announced on Thursday. (http://profootball.scout.com/a.z%20127&p=9&c=2&cid=868089&nid=3306462&fhn=1)

QuoteA rookie free agent signee of San Francisco in 2007, Parrish (6-1, 210) spent that training camp and preseason with the 49ers before being released prior to the start of the regular season. A first-team, all-conference selection in both his junior and senior seasons at East Stroudsburg University, Parrish averaged 40.3 yards per punt and landed 59 of his 174 punts inside the 20-yard line during his four-year collegiate career.

While it's unlikely Parrish will unseat starting P Sav Rocca, Parrish will be able to give him a breather during the team's OTA sessions and possibly at training camp.

Huge news day.
