On point. Maybe I can get them to show the game on the jumbotron at BAC Stadium.
in this economy only a govt worker that isnt scared of flying could make this game
Actually FS61, EagleGreen (for those who remember him from the early days of CF) and his son, and I will be heading out. Just secured the tickets and will be working on the rest of the arrangements.
So anyone else who is planning on making the trek to Arizona, let us know and we'll bring some Eagles spirit to the desert! :evil
QuoteNFC TITLE GAME SELLS OUT IN SIX MINUTES
Posted by Mike Florio on January 11, 2009, 7:12 p.m.
Last weekend, the Arizona Cardinals needed two extensions in order to sell enough tickets to allow their wild-card game against the Falcons to be televised locally.
With the Cardinals unexpectedly hosting the NFC Championship, the tickets moved a bit more quickly.
The team has announced that the stadium sold out in only six minutes.
Earlier in the day, coach Ken Whisenhunt addressed the fact that the Cards unexpectedly scored another playoff game at home.
"Obviously we are excited that we have another home game to host the NFC Championship at University of Phoenix Stadium," Whisenhunt said. "It is huge for this organization, for our players, and especially for our fans.
"After our Wild Card win here against Atlanta, I did my victory lap around the stadium because I thought it might have been the last chance for me to show my appreciation to our fans. As we all know now that was incorrect and I've never been happier to be wrong.
"With the Philadelphia victory, we have this opportunity to host the NFC Championship against the Eagles. I know it is going to be a great atmosphere and it is going to be electric. The home field advantage is huge for us because we don't have to travel. Knowing the environment and knowing the way our fans have supported us gives us such an advantage and that is exactly what we want. We couldn't ask for anything better for an NFC Championship game."

I'm still looking for a good excuse to drive to Philly for Sunday's game.
Gotta love ticket brokers my buddy stood in line at the training facility for nothing.

If you were planning on traveling across the country for the game, what's stopping you from paying maybe $100 more for a ticket on StubHub?
Quit your whining.
Eagle Green got seats. We are in Section 402, row 5, seats 14-17
So far haven't seen to many Eagle Fans. Ten or so on the plane and met to great guys at breakfast that came from Atlanta (they flew to Vegas and drived here last night :yay)
wow
they didn't have the schools when '61 growed up
Uh, okay.
Boy, am I glad I didn't go to THIS farging game.
yeah Im jealous fansince61 was there
I'm not even sure he's there. He might have just been going somewhere else and got confused.
I thought he said he was somewhere in the central California area code.
yea i think id kill myself trying to walk out of that stadium with 60000 bandwagon fans talkin shtein
Other than the score the four of us had a great time :)
I'll echo FS61 - we had a great time at the game, in spite of the very disappointing result. :'( The stadium is beautiful and the noise level was like nothing I've ever experienced (granted, the Eagles don't play in a dome!). I'll have some comments on the game itself at some point, but I can say that I'm glad to have gone to Phoenix (nice city, and I didn't have to endure cold and snow! ;) ).
I am still really, really glad I did not go.
Really glad.
