Title: 2008-09 Wildcard Round
Post by: BigEd76 on December 28, 2008, 08:38:43 PM
SAT 4:30 NBC = Atlanta (-3) @ Arizona
SAT 8:00 NBC = Indianapolis (-1) @ San Diego
SUN 1:00 CBS = Baltimore (-3) @ Miami
SUN 4:30 FOX = EAGLES (-3) @ Minnesota

There's a decent chance of all 4 road teams winning this week...

QuoteSan Diego Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson has a detached tendon that connects one of his adductor (groin) muscles to his pubic bone, according to team sources.

Ouch.

Rookie QB and Coach on the road. This should have been predictable.

3rd and 16 and Keith Brooking is petrified of the speedy Kurt Warner running for a first down, leaving his receiver with the play resulting in a first down

smart. game over.

I thought Matt Ryan's brother did a pretty good job of hiding his jealousy/contempt/hatred for his brother.

Arizona was the only home team that I thought would win this weekend. Which at the moment means that I'm really smart, in case you were wondering. REALLY SMART.

LT started the game with a 13 yard run. It was really uncomfortable to watch.

this is the all jersey game...colts might have the best white jerseys in all of sports and we all know about the charger powder blues

Seriously. I've never seen a slower 13 yard run.

he has a better chance of gaining more yards on that stationery bike than coming back in the game and doing something productive

I was kinda hoping the Chargers would go for it on 4th and 1.

The Colts won four more games than the Chargers yet had to play in San Diego. Lame.

Somebody forgot about the Anthony Toney days.  Or maybe I have because I'm actually assuming Toney was fast enough to pick up 13 yards on a run.

Ed Reed strikes again.  Thanks for showing up, Miami.  You're done.

Did Harbaugh suddenly go back to his Andy Reid roots?  Two deep passes in the 4th quarter up 20-9?

Ed Reed might be the best safety in the history of the NFL.  It might not even be a close race for it either.  He's ridiculous.

Ed Reed is friggen' awesome. A friend told me that he has over a thousand yards in interceptions for his career. Amazing.

He no doubt is the best safety in the history of the NFL, and a strong case could be made for him being one of the best defensive players in history, period.

He's a future Hall of Famer, but would there be even half as much talk about him if he had been playing for the Lions or Rams?

This is not the first time you've floated the idea that he isn't all we're cracking him up to be. You're wrong. Really really wrong. He's a giant among men among boys.

Ah, yes.  Perform like he does for any team, and there will be all that talk.

I'm just saying that maybe you don't need to cup his balls while you're down there, not that he shouldn't get fellated.

The Lions would have been much better with Ed Reed this season. I'm not saying they would have actually won a game, but they would have been much better.

How about a little pinky finger rim play?
