Today Restaurant.com (http://www.restaurant.com) is doing some sort of special on their coupons. Go in, select restaurants near where you live, and use the Discount Code "Eighty" when you check out. It gives you an additional 80% off their already discounted prices. I got $60 worth of restaurant gift certificates for $4.60. There are restrictions on most of them like "You must spend $35 (on a $25 gift certificate) Sunday through Thursday", but you get to read those details before you purchase.
I read all the terms and conditions, and I didn't see anything that stood out to me. Plus I paid through PayPal instead of credit card to protect myself.
The discount code expires at noon today (allegedly).
Anyway, it seems like a very good deal, so I thought I'd share.
it's legit. that website does that pretty often.
Thanks for the tip, Demon. None of our favorite joints are on that site, but there were a couple of places I've been wanting to try. Picked up two $25 certificates for a total of $4.
I knew my fellow money-lover would dig that site.
yeah they do this like once a month
i got 9 or 10 of them last week

Buffalo Wild Wings for Sunday Eagle Games?
Is there any chance this place isn't at least passable? Reading, PA - HOLLER.

For $2, I thought the $25 johnson was definitely worth it.
ha, yeah when I think of my hometown the first thing that pops into my head is great Italian food.
ha
more like airport chicken wings served to you from a guy that resembles sloth fratelli
I just grabbed a $25 johnson for Cincy in case I can still make it. I'm willing to risk the $2 on it.

Victor Emmanuel's is good stuff, but I think they still don't allow non-whites in there.
could be. i know you needed a membership to get in. but yeah that pizza is the shtein.
actually its in my top 5 all time wings....is it still there?
I have a buddy who uses that site all the time, and I keep forgetting to get on there. Thanks for the reminder.

i think they changed the name but yeah it's still there. my house is about a mile from there and when i was in high school it was like 4.95 for all you can eat.
Got two local places (ones that we frequent, too!) for $2 each. Excellent.
farg, the shtein expired. I need to start CFing more at work...
Someone better bump this one back up when they do this again. Im a Jew - I like discounts.
this site sends me about 97 emails a week. type in MORE to get 60% off. not as good as Demon's but still pretty good.
the 80% will be back soon enough
80% off at restaurant.com is back. Use discount code TREATS at checkout. Offer ends tomorrow.
this one stipulation is confusing to me...
Valid for dinner with minimum purchase of $35/min 2 dinner entrees.
It's a steakhouse with expensive entrees...so is it a minimum of $35 and 2 entrees? Or a minimum of 2 entrees that are at least $35?
$35 total, for the $25 gift certificate. They have bigger denominations too.
i didn't see any bigger denominations, but getting $50 in gift certs for $4 = win
guess whos back

80% off again at restaurant.com - $10 gift certificate for 60 cents, and $2 for a $25 certificate.
The coupon key word is SURPRISE. No idea when this ends.
some friends of mine had a fakesgiving party last night, and everyone had to bring a dish. i made white trash meatballs. it's a bag of frozen meatballs slow cooked with one can of chili sauce and one can of grape jelly. sounds disgusting but they are delicious.
I've made those before. They are tasty.
That sounds so farging nasty I have to try it.
i think they have been at every office holiday party ever held
its baaaaaaaaack

They also have "Feed it Forward," where you can give 3 free $10 johnsons a day to your friends.
