Watching the team this year so far has been a real pain to watch them struggle and perform below the level they should be at. There are players on the team that clearly need to go. Their stay in Philly is up. It is now time to let the internetz know who we want and don't want. Just players...we all know the real problem is the coach, but certain players are obviously done here.
David Akers - Has next to zero accuracy after 40 yards. Can't be trusted to win the game. If you can't trust your kicker...get a new one. Sorry Akers, it was a hell of a run, but your done.
LJ Smith - Big LJ plays little and he can't stay healthy. When healthy def. won't block and runs with the ball outside his body. He can't break a tackle even at 258 and his so called freakish athleticism. He whines about his contract, yet has failed to be worth re-signing. Your done Little John.
Lito Shepard - Another whinny bitch who can't stay healthy. Has shown he can be a hell of a player, but obviously has his mind on his money. The team needs players not beggars
FB - Tony Hunt and Dan Klecko. Hmmm a RB and DT filling in at FB. HMMMM....we need a damn FB already.
Showboat - this guy is so bad I don't even remember how to spell his last name and I can't even remember his first name. Matt? Either way this 3rd option at TE needs to go. He drops everything thrown his way. With LJ and himself done after this year we need to look at free agency and or the draft for a new TE, or call Chad Lewis.
Greg Lewis - every time I am ready to slam the book on the chump he makes a play. i think its more of his duck like feet than anything that fuels my anger. he just needs to go.
Dorenbos - a great magician but too small of a body to long snap. yesterday the SF guy just went right around him, no problem. we need a bigger body in there.

Dorenbos has been fine. Akers should never line up for a FG from longer than 45. Never ever.
mussa has been huffing gas again.
real recognize real
Dude, you cant say "we all know the real problem is the coach, but certain players are obviously done here" because it was the coaches (mainly AR) decision to a. keep these guys on the roster and b. put them in the right positions to succeed.
Like FF said, Akers shouldnt have been out there before the half for a 52 yrdr. No way in hell. So I cant blame him for missing that one - yes, he's be dissapointing this year, but that wasnt his fault...nor can you cut him now and pick up a John Carney type guy. Doesnt work that way. Andy's fault, not Akers.
AR and the FO made the decision to franchise LJ. Bad move, obviously, but like Akers you cant just cut him. Theres no way he is back after this season, so we'll all get our wish, and hopefully we'll have someone other than Celek or Schoebel as our starting TE. LJ is an average TE, and the fact that he was signed to the franchise tender isnt his fault, it's Andys.
FB - nothing needed to be said. Andy made the decision to convert two guys to play a position neither should play. Andys fault, not Hunt's or Klecko's.
Im sick of the Lito-bashing. Who cares if he wants more money? Now that you have Sante, is it really such a big deal if he misses a game or two with injury? Can he still play at a high level? farg yea, he stays.
Rippin on Dorenbos??? Are you kidding me?
The moral of my post: It's usually Andy's fault. And, stop huffing gas.
i actually think the lj smith move was a good one and more than that a very necessary one...it was worth one year to see if he could produce like everything thought...and you see whats behind him so as bad as he is this year he had to be retained...unless you care about jeffrey luries pockets it was a no risk move
I agree 100% it was the right move - it just turned out (6 games in) to be a bad, i guess financial, move. But, because he's getting a Top 5 pay, people are expecting him to play like a top 5 player at his position...which he is clearly not. And its starting to look like he doesnt care all that much out there...which is why I would love to see Gonzalez (next person to call him Gonzo gets donkey punched) come through here. No chance though - it would be a concession that the FO farged up in giving LJ the franchise money...
Gonzo (eat it) for a third, which is purportedly what the Chiefs want, would be a steal

Both of you shall report to C6 for donkey punches...
This team is underperforming. I don't think they're a SB caliber team talentwise but they should be able to make the playoffs. Case in point, the D sucked ass for 3 quarters then turned it on in the 4th. This isn't a shutdown D so for them to be effective that sort of effort should be there from kickoff. This goes back to coaches getting players ready to play the game.
As far as offseason I would:
Draft a FS or see what Demps can do
Move Bradley to SAM, slow ass Omar back to MIKE, and sign a WIL
Gocong goes back to being a situational DE
I actually think Klecko is fine as a 4th DT
Get a quality LDE, no more of this Bryan Smith/Chris Clemons crap. That being said Parker is having a career year
On offense I'm anxious to see what they'll look like with Andrews, Westbrook, Curtis, Brown, back into the mix. I know Andy will think it's a buffet and air the ball but at least those players have more talent than what's currently on the field.
no shtein reid makes the decisions to keep players or not. i started the thread to see who you guys thought needed to go regardless of what papers they signed. who needs to go?
You.
And you.
har har...stick to the subject russ, im sure there are a few players that pinch your cheerio the wrong way
These losers can all rot in hell for all I care. I root for laundry.

skins fan
Skins is the opposite of what he roots for, which is Shirts.
LaFawn Laundry is my favorite.
But seriously, if it will improve the team every one of these clowns could go play in traffic. I root for the jersey, not the jackass wearing it.
i root for negroes who pass the look test
But if they play in traffic the jerseys might get dirty.
Well we all know how upset the fat man would be if any of the offense's jerseys got dirty.
Hopefully thinking about traffic will make him remember that his kids were trafficking drugs, which will then cause him to shoot himself in the head.
