Interesting match up...I think we split the season series 4 & 4 with sweeps by the home team?

4th NLCS between the Phils and Dodgers
Schedule for the lazy people: (all games on FOX)
Thursday and Friday here
Sunday and Monday in LA
Wednesday in LA if necessary
Next Friday and Saturday here if necessary

Cole Hamels is a farging idiot.
Apparently he has no clue what he's talking about.
http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/attendance
Hamels will be raped early in his game.
i knew you were gay and stupid, but jeez...
are you honestly trying to compare philly fans to la fans? and using attendance figures as a basis? wow.
first look at %. then factor in that 75% of the "fans" there come in the 3rd and leave in the 7th. seriously did you just attempt that?
Shut up with the 3rd inning bullshtein. It takes about 2 innings to find parking and to get to your seat.
The stadium sits between 3 major freeways (110, 101, & 5) a small freeway (the 2) and Sunset Blvd.
Three entrances/exits to the park. Complete bullshtein!
Dodger Stadium (http://googlesightseeing.com/maps?p=224&c=&ll=34.073968,-118.239723&spn=0.008712,0.011501&t=k&hl=en)
Now, to suggest that Dodger fans are the only ones that leave early is absurd and as weak an argument as PG's bitching about California falling into the ocean and annoying like IGY's incessant whining about how crappy Philly teams are.
Why don't you come up with something fresh? Aren't you supposed to be the smarter one around here?
Also, big farging deal about philly fans. There's nothing special about you.
The only difference between philly fans and boston fans is the fact that they actually win.
lol @ 2 innings to find your seat
get there earlier, dummy
I have dickbag friends who like to act like the world waits for them. I'd leave without them if they didn't have my tickets. :'(
hit them on the head with a hammer and take your tickets
What are tickets running for in CBP by the way?
$90 in the out field pavilion (normally $6 to $11 dollars)....but it includes all you can eat (hot dogs, sodas, etc. )....the only zesty part is that there is no alcohol allowed in the pavilion anymore. :'( farging cholos!

Conveniently overlooked one critical aspect:
3 LA Dodgers 81 3,730,553 46,056
82.2 5 Philadelphia 81 3,422,583 42,254
97.1 CBP was filled to a 97% capacity this season. Dodger stadium only 82%.
lol its not even an argument. la fans cannot even be considered fans. they are below florida fans. they go to the games to call their friends on their cells and tell them they are at the game. then they leave early to beat traffic. they embrace pathetic, disgraceful players like manny as a folk hero. they smell bad and many are mexican. i could go on
Look at your 2001, 2002, and 2003 for both teams.
Wow....the percentages sucked. :o

Hey hbionic... Your team sucks.
QuotePHILADELPHIA -- At least one person at Citizens Bank Park on Friday wasn't impressed with the biggest defensive play in Game 2 of the NLCS. "It wasn't that tough a catch," Dodgers third baseman Casey Blake said, of Shane Victorino's leaping grab in front of the centerfield wall at Citizens Bank Park. It was Blake's deep drive in the seventh inning, with two men on base, that Victorino snagged to preserve a three-run lead for the Phillies. "I'm not sure he had to jump like that," Blake said. "I think [Victorino] had more room than he thought."

While I agree about the pitching, I disagree about the second part of your post.
Phils won't lose that many games in such a short span, especially going back home. Not a chance.
the phils cant go 1-3 over the next four games with lets say hamels winning again?
im not even saying they will do that...the phils could easily win tonight...but if they dont win tonight i think the dodgers win the series
I don't think they'd go 1-3, even with Hamels getting the win. And especially at home.

QuoteThe Los Angeles Dodgers aren't going to the World Series because they aren't tough enough to get there. They look good, I'll give them that. They're a pretty organization, with long, angular ballplayers like James Loney and Matt Kemp and Casey Blake and Andre Ethier.
They're pretty. They just aren't tough.
The Dodgers are fake fighters, guys like Manny Ramirez running in from left field during a heated moment and then making sure there are two or three teammates to "hold him back" while he pretends to want to fight. That was Game 3 of the National League Championship Series.
At least Ramirez is smart enough to act tough. Pitcher Chad Billingsley isn't even that. He let thug Phillies pitcher Brett Myers throw at his best teammates without doing a thing to retaliate. That was Game 2.
The Dodgers are the kind of organization that lets its granddaughters do the fighting. Tommy Lasorda, the most famous living Dodger, was supposed to throw out the first pitch Wednesday night, but this being the Dodgers, he didn't do it. Instead he dragged his granddaughter out to the mound, and to her credit the little girl looked up at a crowd of 56,800 and fired a fastball over the plate. That was Game 5.
Come to think of it, maybe that's what the Dodgers need: A few more granddaughters.
Lord knows their players aren't man enough.

farging beaners. i would have yelled out "INS" and watched um' all run.
Angelo stating tickets were going for as low as $8 at Dodger Stadium. Good god.
For all the Dodger fan fargtard gang banging essas in LA I have to admit Angel fans are very cool. I have been to several games in Anaheim and sat in numerous sections and never felt threatened in any way. One time these dudes figured out we were from Hawaii and they talked surfing with us for half the game. Than we ate some delicious sushi and had some incredible Chardonnay from Portugal.

The required "Philly sucks" piece from opposing media. This time, Tj Simers.

:-D :-D :-D
Awesome:
QuoteThe Dodgers are front-runners, is what I'm saying.
The Phillies are sonsofbitches.
No wonder the Phillies are going to the World Series. No wonder the Dodgers aren't.

He always has. He did it 100 times worse when it was the Sixers/Lakers in the finals.
He's a slimeball.

Dodgers fans dousing cops with beer.
my buddy flew up for games 3 and 4. said Sunday's crowd for game 3 was out of control. Throwing shtein and heckling Phils fans all game. He even took his Phils cap off after awhile as he said things were nasty.
After the 8th inning of game 4 (where the crowd was much more behaved) he said people made a mad exodus for the exits (you know, traffic). He was feeling so good he said farg it and yelled out to his section "Don't you people leave. Don't you walk out on that team! They deserve better than that!" People cheered and then he yelled "Lakers Suck!"
lame.
The whole Phillies suck, Dodgers suck...is a pretty lame thing to say when you think about it.
It's better to get personal about players but the generic (blank team) sucks is pretty lame.
