Why the farg does half of Texas (the most populated half) NOT get the NFCE game, especially being in Dallas country? Who west of the Miss. gives a flying farg about Indy or the Jags? Stupid nonsense.

i figured Mcdougle would get playing time on the 4th line, but he's too soft and wont fight

The last time the Patriots lost a regular season game, the Dolphins shut them out 21-0.

I can't recall an Eagles QB performance like this, even during the pass-happy Reid era:
Brian Griese 38/67, 407 yards, 2 TD, 3 INT

0-3 club:  St. Louis, Detroit, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Kansas City......all bad teams

Buffalo, Denver and Tennessee join the Giants and tonight's winner in the 3-0 club

and the Falcons have a better record than the Colts and Jaguars

Post by: Seabiscuit36 on September 21, 2008, 08:09:27 PM
Griese blew up, but still had more int's than TD's

The NFC East is still undefeated outside of the division.  I'm hoping the Cowshteins farg that up tonight.

ScrubWatch:

- The Lions backup QB is some cat named Dan Orlovsky. He came in to finish up the game today after Kitna got hurt. How the farg does Matt Millen have a job?

- Billy McMullen is by far the best healthy WR on the Seahawks roster.

- Jamarcus Russell was 9/19, his three leading receivers had one reception each, his team rushed for under 100 yards, and the Raiders came very close to beating the Bills.

Aaron Rodgers has looked good this season, but he's looked good against zesty teams. This should slow down the hype machine.

The NFL actually really needs some breakout QBs... it seems like there's only about one per year, and that's not enough to keep the league replenished. And it turns out that some of the guys who broke out in years past (Derek Andersion, Vince Young) very well may suck.

Vince Young's been overrated. He should have stayed in college another year to work on his arm.

Methinks Aaron Rogers has been hyped a wee bit too much. That bubble's popping right about now.

Quote"We have to be professionals," guard Brian Waters said.

"We have to play a lot better," tight end Tony Gonzalez said.

"(Expletive)," running back Larry Johnson said.

"We've got to eliminate mistakes," defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey said.

Also, the players did have something to say about the length of the football season.

"It's a long season," Waters said.

"Long season," Gonzalez said.

"We've got a long season ahead of us," cornerback Brandon Flowers said.

"(Expletive)," running back Larry Johnson said.

Bulger got benched

For 85 year-old walking concussion Trent Green, who was signed by the Rams more than nine and a half years ago.

The Green-Warner-Chandler-Martin turnstile of Ram QBs with previous lives as rejects from the early 90s continues. It's a real testament to how bad the NFL is at finding new QB talent.

If the Rams want a spark so bad...how about you bench the left side of the offensive line and put in the back-ups

Trent Green is all of a sudden going to have time to throw now? Christ.

See? After all these years of letting his team rot, it took Orlovsky to bring William Ford to his senses.
