Not sure why Bowman went undrafted. He was rated as a late 1st or 2nd before the season...
First confirmed UDFA signing: Franklin Dunbar (MTSU OT)
Strengths: Moves fairly well laterally and can seal defenders lined up over outside shoulder. Has excellent size and flashes the ability to sustain blocks once in position. While doesn't get great knee bend in pass sets is big enough to hold ground working against most pull rushes. Extends arms and can ride edge rushers past the pocket.
Weaknesses: Appears lost at times, takes too many false steps and frequently fails to get into sound position. Plays too high, hasn't shown great lower body strength and is going to have problems driving defenders off the ball in short-yardage situations until technique improves. Fails to deliver a violent initial punch, hasn't learned to roll hips into blocks, doesn't play with enough of a mean streak and isn't going to knock many defenders back at the point of attack. Lunges and loses balance too much. Doesn't get great hand placement and opens the door to get flagged for holding penalties. Takes poor angles to linebackers, lacks ideal range and struggles to get into position at the second level. Doesn't show great awareness in pass protection, over commits far too often and has problems adjusting to line stunts as well as blitzes. Flashes the ability to get into pass set quickly but footwork is inconsistent and can get beat around the edge. Appears to wear down at times and may lack ideal endurance. Played at a small school, struggled in 2007 game against LSU and the lower level of competition he faced in college raises concern about his ability to make a successful transition to the NFL.
Overall: Dunbar sat the 2004 season out because of academic issues. He started five of the 11 games he played in during the 2005 season. Dunbar started all 13 games of the 2006 season and all 12 games of the 2007 season at left tackle. There's a lot to like about Dunbar's size and frame but he is clearly a developmental prospect who would have benefited from staying in school another year. In addition, there are concerns about his ability to match up with NFL caliber defenders after playing at such a small school.

For Don Ho, Miami got Davone Bess and Houston got Ryan Grice-Mullins
Jacksonville got Paul Smith
Mentioned in the Penn State thread, Morelli went to Arizona and Scott went to Cleveland
Unconfirmed: Penn State WR Terrell Golden is an Eagle too

I was just about ask about him.
He's got a decent chance of making an NFL Roster I think as special teamer.
So we'll trade Greg Lewis to Minny for one of their 16 UDFAs...

He's Billy McMullen with less talent.
did anyone sign mike czerwien? he led D-III in sacks with 23 and i'm sure he'd make a fine OLB at 5'8, 225 lbs.

Yeah, I think a few years ago he escaped from that Mormon compound, that's why AR likes him.
Anybody here anything regarding Adarius Bowman? Dude had two 1000 yard seasons, is big as hell.He ran a slower 40, 4.7 I think, but he hasn't been picked up I think. We the UDFA WRs the Birds have picked up, they would've looked his way. He got legal trouble or something?
Legal and character issues, yep.
Talented though. Good risk IMO.
QuoteADARIUS BOWMAN GOING TO CANADA
Posted by Michael David Smith on May 29, 2008, 4:55 p.m.
Another day, another talented but troubled wide receiver going to Canada.
Former Oklahoma State wide receiver Adarius Bowman is the latest to head north of the border, having signed a rookie contract with the Canadian Football League's Saskatchewan Roughriders.
Bowman was once thought of as a potential first-day NFL draft pick, but he went undrafted after he turned in a bad performance at the scouting combine and then was arrested for possession of marijuana a few weeks before the draft.
That was the second marijuana-related incident for Bowman. He transferred to Oklahoma State after North Carolina kicked him off the team following a marijuana possession charge. He was an All-Big 12 player at Oklahoma State and finished fourth in school history with 127 receptions and 2,187 yards.
Canada is becoming a popular place for draft bust wide receivers, although ex-Lion Charles Rogers has apparently decided it's too crowded for him.
please don't talk about him, sunmo's going to get mad.
i can't believe canada swooped in and stole him from the entire nfl...it must've taken a collective effort from the entire country to pull off a coup like this

No doubt Vinny Cerrato was working behind the scenes to keep him from signing with the Eagles.
