DaJuan Morgan
Josh Barrett
Two of the guys who I would like to see them target this round.
I'm down with Morgan, he's my favorite safety in the draft. Not so high on Barrett.
youre a draft whore and you deserve punishment.
We already dodged Otah... there's no punishment left.
Here's whats left:
Round 3, Pick 17 (80)
Round 4, Pick 10 (109) (From Panthers)
Round 4, Pick 18 (117) (From Vikings)
Round 4, Pick 32 (131) (Compensatory selection)
Round 6, Pick 18 (184)
Round 6, Pick 25 (191) (From Browns)
Round 6, Pick 34 (200) (Compensatory selection)
Round 6, Pick 37 (203) (Compensatory selection)
Round 7, Pick 23 (230) (From Seahawks)
Anyone else up for packaging some of that non-compensatory shtein together and moving back up into the third?
Of course.
Whatever makes them better.
We can figure on one or two project OL though.
I know we are loaded at TE already, but I want to see them land Finley from Texas somewhere in day 2.
I wouldn't mind seeing Connor added if he is still available to add depth at LB. I doubt he will be though. Doucet or Bennett would be nice at WR. DBs Smith from OU or Molden from EKU, those guys would add some size. Most of the safties are still available. I don't really know much about the rest of the available offensive linemen.
I guy I would like to see them take a chance on would be Blake from TCU if he is available with one of there later picks.
What about the Eagles taking punter Durant Brooks from GT sometime today? They seem to be trying to improve their STs so why not?

How was DeSean in your virtual self-love session last night?
For anyone who doesn't realize it, the third round is underway. Five picks in and still no one mentioned on this page has been drafted. The Eagles seem like one of the only teams that still has their own third round pick.
And both of the PSU guys are still on the board.
Connor just went to Carolina at pick #74

they're up next after the texans
One pick away and virtually everyone mentioned in this thread is still available. No word on any Eagles trades in the 3rd or 4th yet.
Texans just took Molden.
Birds on the clock.
on the clock, baby
Eagles take Bryan Smith DE - McNeese State
bye bye mcdougle.
Early Doucet to ARZ.
Dujuan Morgan just went to the Chiefs

No way, he was drafted as an OLB. Seems like a typical Reid project.
a project in the 3rd round...when there was a safety or corner you could've taken...awful
cole was a project. that turned out pretty well.
they also took him in the 5th round
so?
you can't tell the difference between a project in the 3rd round and one in the 5th?
and at least Cole was playing his natural position, his farg has to switch
3rd round is too early for a project.
Not only did no other team plan on taking Smith anywhere near this early, I don't think any other team was even aware of the existence of McNeese State.

Since the Eagles have a million fourths and sixths I thought they might package up to grab him. Josh Barrett is still out there.
he went to a I-A school, they probably aren't interested
Zbikowski to Baltimore
manningham to the gints
not good
Am I the only one who finds it strange to see the taterskins actually taking part in the draft? My brain's having trouble wrapping itself around the concept...

Is the sky falling, or just looking a pit pekid?
Pats took a QB in the 3rd round.
Okay? Tom Brady and Matt Cassell....and you take a QB in the 3rd?
The Patriots' front office is stupid! They should totally have done something that makes more sense to the layfolk like you and me!
They should have totally went CB there!! They lost Samuel!! This makes no sense!! Another project!!
yeah, keep defending the FO...those super bowls help your argument
yeah, keep ripping the FO because you think this is just like Gocong. You hear I-AA and think he sucks.
ANd Gocong has turned out half decent so far

Ha.
So far to address their defense, they've picked:
Their DL still has no one but Andre Carter, the LBs are either dinosaurs or coming off injury, and to replace Sean Taylor they're sticking with Doughty.
half decent...what a glowing review for a starting outside linebacker
Isn't it?
