10 minutes to go...
Will Todd McShay pimp slap Mel Kiper this year?
C'mon Eagles, do something good!
I'm hoping the Eagles score today, but this day has a potential to be a total disaster.
I can't believe I'm going to watch this shtein.
I live for this shtein
Nervous as farg for some reason... I smell a letdown coming.
Hope I'm wrong...
wow, 3 white guys in the first 3 picks ?!
Didn't even notice the fact that it was three white guys until you said that. This draft is already exponentially faster than any draft I can remember. Good picks so far.
As far as the Eagles go all I can think today is OL....unforutnately.
KC has to be creaming themselves....Glenn Dorsey to the Chiefs should be the pick.

The first pick was already a given and reports earlier this morning were that StL was going to take Chris Long with their pick so I'm sure that has something to do with the quick starting pace.

I love the 10 minute picks. Dorsey is an excellent pick for KC. Gholston next?
Chiefs didn't waste much time in taking Dorsey. Good pickup.
Wonder if this Saints trade impacts Lito rumors.
What did NE get?
Jacksonville trades up from 26!
Damn...what do they give up?!?!?
Do they take Harvey here?!?!
Jags just traded up from 26 to 8. I'm interested to see how much that move cost them
Got to be Harvey. This is continuing to push OL down....
Get the OL off the board...
Please.
Did Dallas trade up? The ESPN ticker has them where NE should be.
NE and NO swapped 1sts and NE got NO's 3rd whereas NO got NE's 5th.
Nevermind, they fixed it.

Jags swapped 1st and also gave up two 3rds and a 4th. I thought they'd have to give up more.
Rivers to Cinci

Not that much considering.
according to the chart the jags just made a steal of a trade. the difference in points between 8 & 26 is 700 points and the jags only gave up slightly more than 300 to go up that high.
OL coming for sure. Love it.
Pats reached for Jerod Mayo
Wow that pick by NE was suprising with McKelvin and Rodgers-Cromartie on the board.
Not one olineman besides #1 has been taken....Hello first round tackle.
It's a reach at 10 but a good pick/fit for them because of the guy's versatility.
I bet the Eagles try to get Albert here.
I can't believe how fast this draft is running.

NE won't pay CBs big money. McKelvin or DRC makes sense, but hey won't pay.
And more OL keep slippin on down to 19. I pray that these fools start getting plucked off the board to keep Andy from pulling the trigger.

Detroit needs o-lineman something fierce. They've given up more sacks in the last 2 years than anyone else. Hello Roy Williams.
Bills select Leodis McKelvin
McKelvin to Buffalo.
It's gonna be an O-lineman... and Albert will be be gone 5 picks before theirs to Chicago.
Clady will go to Denver.
Now get Otah and Albert off there. And Williams too.
Hopefully Detroit Carolina and KC get them gone
Clady to Denver. One more o-lineman off the board. w00t! w00t!
wow Jonathan Stewart to Carolina
Carolina with the first real "shocker" of the draft.
Otah and the Vandy kid still on the board, as is Albert....
Woohoo for first round lineman! I honestly won't disagree too much with them taking a tackle, considering they have two old dudes and an unproven guy who looked like shtein at LT.
But it sure would be nice to get a WR.
Thr draft's been on an hour and a half and we're at the 14th pick... last year, we were at about #5.
I'm loving the pace here...

Yeah, it's nice knowing I'm not wasting half a day with the 1st round. It's also nice not having to listen to the pundits talk for 15 minutes at a time or watching the cameras troll through the masses of idiot douchebags in attendence.
Mendenhall to the Bears? Or do they go for an o-lineman?
Hopefully Albert and Otah go soon. Devin Thomas will probably be there. I swear if they pass on him.
Chris Williams from Vandy it is.
Nice - Williams is off.
Now, let's see some more get gone.
Otah and Albert - goodbye, please.
Kansas City (unless they go Rodegrs-Cromagnonman) and Houston should scoop them up.
If Devin Thomas is there and Andy doesn't take them, I'll kill MDS.
Unfortunately even if all these top 5 guys are gone Cherilus is still on the board. I actually wouldn't have a problem if they draft one of these guys as long as they don't trade up to get one.
Sal Pal saying that the Eagles are looking to move up to get Albert.
farging Sal's saying they're trying to trade up for Otah or Albert.
they say they may need to jump ahead of KC...

Jesus christ....
DO NOT TRADE WITH THE EAGLES ANYONE!!
Watch....Lito and #19 to ARZ and they take Albert.
motherfarger...come on, do not take an OL.
I don't mind Albert at all if they can't parlay their 1st into an elite WR.
KC just traded with DET...
KC traded with Detroit. Looks like their going for Otah or Albert now.
Please be Otah.
As soon as my post was done they came on with that Sal Pal shtein.
Albert to KC...
KC didn't even give up #17 according to ESPN's ticker... EDIT: They fixed it... DET got #17.
ARZ, KC or HOU... please take Otah... I want no parts of that kid.

Mendenhall could go here or not. DRC
If the Cards take Mendenhall then Detroit is probably going to fire Matt Millen on the spot.
DRC to AZ
Lito's not going to ARZ now for damn sure.
Wow is this draft ever going fast...it's almost watchable now and the faster format has not hurt the trades (like some people thought it would)
The sexy pick for Detroit would be Mendenhall since they don't have crap at RB but the smart pick would be to go o-line.
A big plus if we get Otah. The guy is the real value right now.
Oh my GOSDER!
Detroit snatched the OT from from BC during the commercial
hahah Detroit

Our hopes to avoid Otah now lie with the Houston Baltimore farging Texans Ravens. :boom
Who are now taking Joe farging Flacco!!!! :boom :boom :boom :boom :boom
Do you guys want to start the "Jeff Otah, Philadelphia Eagle" thread, or should I? :boo
Baltimore just traded into Houston's spot
#18 for #26, #89 and #173
Ravens just traded with Houston. Probably for a QB
I am scared that Houston will take Mendenhall here allowing Otah to fall into Andy's crumb-filled lap.
However, I hope that Houston recognizes how badly they need OL help and takes Otah. Schaub gets killed. Houston just hired Alex Gibbs to coach the OL along with Kubiak they are Denver disciples.
TAKE OTAH HOUSTON!!!

Wow, never saw that coming. What do they get a future 1st rounder?
Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet.
Now, get Car's next year #1 and use it to get a WR NOW.
So the Eagles traded out of the first round, yes?
I didn't know that Otah graduated from my Alma Mater at Valley Forge.
The fans there seem real excited about the trade. WHAT THE farg WAS IT.
Eagles got 2nd and 4th this year. 1st next year.
LOADING UP FOR ROY?!?!
They're cheering the armed forces

THAT would be sweet.
But a little bit sad thinking Thomas goes to TB and DeSean Jackson will likely be gone.
Now we root for Carolina to blow ass.
2nd round (43)
4th round (109)
Next years #1
NICE. NICE NICE NICE.
That is a steal for the Eagles.
I don't like the fact that they aren't drafting in the first round for 2 straight years though.
Well now they have #43 and #49. They can still trade up for Phillips or DeSean
So when is the Eagles next pick?
Good trade, IMO. Now package picks and move up.
I like the trade, and I also wouldn't be surprised to see one of the WRs at 43
My guesss is they trade the two second rounders to get back up into the late first and grab Phillips.

Since they have Carolina's pick for next year I think they should just start video taping other team's practices and defensive signals.
I seriously don't want the Eagles to get Phillips even if he's sitting there at whatever pick. Everyone is on his nuts and will flip out if the Eagles get him. Give me DaJuan Morgan, not "supposed to be awesome because he's a Miami safety who got great reviews from everyone who doesn't watch college football but will hardly be better than what the Eagles have because he does not cause turnovers and is not an exceptional hitter therefore is hardly better than Sean Considine if at all who is one of the scapegoats on the team."

Atlanta just traded into Washington's spot.
OMG WASHINGTON TRADED AWAY THE #21 PICK!! HOW COULD THEY NOT HONOR SEAN TAYLOR BY PICKING THERE?!?!

ATL picks Sam Baker.

Anyway in other infuriating news Spadaro today claimed that had the Eagles not traded out of the first and say selected Otah they would have come out of the first 2 rounds with Otah and Laws. I guess selecting a backup high motor DT was such a priority that no matter what they were going to select him in the 2nd round and then lose out on Desean.
They could have had Otah and Desean. Or a Felix Jones and Desean. Or a Keller and Desean.
Still not going to complain too much about it since I thought it was a good move at the time. Besides would not want Stalker to find a post of mine from last year saying how I was for the move.
I wish we could go back in time and push Stalker's mother down a flight of stairs while she was pregnant.

Actually your right and drafting a RB in the first round, unless its someone like Peterson, is not that important. The problem is the talent evaluation. Since Westbrook this team has drafted guys like Moats and Hunt and traded for Booker. They simply can not evaluate skill position talent. All of the WRs, besides Desean, have been huge busts or just role players like Avant. They can not draft a WR or RB, constantly need one, and refuse to use those picks to trade for a proven player at those positions because you know those pics are so valuable.
I refuse to believe its because they are just so terrbile at it. I mean yeah they suck but its also because they simply do not emphasize the position as much. Its not vital in their eyes to winning.
the amount of #1 wr's in the league is minimal...they are really hard to evaluate so i cant totally bash the front office for failing there....its how many times they have utterly whiffed that is maddening
the biggest criticism should be in not getting a free agent wr or wr via trade who is if not a #1 at least would become no question your best wr and a #1 for your team
