They couldn't afford a Head Coach like Garrett, so they got a Head Coah in Harbaugh?
Rumor is that he wants to take Shurmur with him to be his OC
Has anyone seen Andy Reid coach? Why the farg is everyone breaking off branches of his tree?
This is the most boring news of the day.
Maybe he can take Reid as his OC, and Morninwheg as his QB coach.
holy shtein.
sal pal is retarded. his entire basis on why harbaugh would be a good coach...you believe what he's saying. not special teams ranking, secondary, blah blah blah. it's important, but don't base your argument on that.
So who's the replacement....Troy Vincent or Otis Smith?
OMGIMSOHAPPYFORHIM :crazy :crazy :crazy

I don't know why they didn't make Rex Ryan the coach. The Raven's player love him and he deserves a chance.

Deserves a chance to replace JJ.
Yeah.
I'd go for that too!

I don't even know why they fired him in the first place. Billick I understand. But Ryan? What the hell did he do to warrant getting the ax?
Seems they are cleaning house, getting rid of everything Billick. I don't really understand it either. I don't understand why they would go for a secondary coach when they could go in house and get a guy like Ryan. Doesn't make sense to me.
Maybe Ryan told them to go farg themselves. He is Buddy's son, after all.
The Ravens were 13-3 in 2006 and still have Ozzie running the front office.
Things could be worse for Harbaugh in Bodymore.

Good for him.
Now hire Troy Vincent as CB coach, and when Reid retires in 7 years hire Harbaugh as the new head coach, after hes had 7 years to get the Reid-ness out of his system.

:o :( :puke
Well you're foolish if you think he'll get fired...and you're foolish if you think he'll walk away anytime soon (unless shtein hits the fan some more with his family). I figure we got at least 5-7 more years of guys getting in the mix and competing. Woohoo.
How in hell could the "shtein hit the fan" anymore than it has?? He hasn't walked away yet, and won't no matter what. I know he won't get fired any time soon, but seven years is a long time. Anything can happen and your foolish if you think you know he'll be here for seven more years then retire. Geez, in seven more years the fat man could die of a massive coronary.

We're Philadelphia Eagles fans. Do you really believe we're that lucky?
Cam Cameron gets the OC job in Baltimore, so Shurmur stays for now

How piss poor of a coach do you have to be to be passed over as the Ravens OC by your buddy who you've worked with for the past 5 years.
Do you really thing Harbaugh actually got to select his own coaching staff?
Doubtful.
I don't know, but if he did, I sure am happy for him.

QuoteRavens | Harbaugh a factor in Ayanbadejo signing
Mon, 10 Mar 2008 11:28:20 -0700
Jamison Hensley, of The Baltimore Sun, reports Baltimore Ravens LB Brendon Ayanbadejo said his decision to sign with the Ravens went beyond just money. "For me, the coach exceeded what I already had with Lovie [Smith, Chicago Bears coach], and Lovie had this stature of kind of a hero," Ayanbadejo said at his introductory news conference Monday, March 10. "Coach Harbaugh exceeded that in my eyes. It's pretty amazing."
:paranoid
He know more about Reno Mahe than any man I've ever met!
i forgot he was their coach.
