youve got an undefeated team with one of the greatest coaches of all-time and the all time qb at his peak in the middle of a dynasty against arguably THE greatest qb of all time in the twilight of his career who is the most popular figure in american sports right now...
has there every been anything close to the amount of hype this would receive...what could compare?
USA-USSR
ali foreman or frazier
huge hype
i don't think you can compare the teams as being a close game though. Pats are superior to almost every team in the league. your examples were great match-ups, but i don't think the Pack has a chance against the Pats, although if it happens i'll be cheering for the Favre's
Favre the greatest QB of all time? Stop Madden-ing the thread, igy!

And also it would be a rematch of Favre vs the team who he won his only SB against.
I would hate the Favre slurping, but its deserved this year because of what hes done. And its better than listening to two weeks of Cowboys or Eli talk.
I'm hoping for Green Bay San diego.
i was hoping for something like jacksonville-seattle so the nfl hype machine would have to create 2 weeks of stories about bobby engram and mercedes lewis. but yea, favre-patriots would be ridiculous.
While for a moment it could be entertaining it could however be have the opposite effect with two weeks of build up :puke
any Super Bowl is like that...i was sick of Eagles/Pats build up after two weeks

I wasn't. I hardly caught any of it actually. Of course, I was in San Diego for 2 months while going through Recruiter School so I was spending a decent amount of time at the beach.
San Diego > Souderton
Why does everyone have to hate on Souderton? It's basically the same as Lansdale or Quakertown.
Wait, nevermind. I get it.
My horse's ass of a brother lives in Lansdale, so there's no way Souderton is worse than there.
As for the hype a Brady/Favre Super Bowl would generate, it would be massively nauseating. There aren't enough cliches in the English language to describe its awfulness.

It's fitting that this conversation is intruding on discussion of "passing of the torch" from Favre to Brady.
Souderton is a glorious suburb where we still snicker and cover our mouth with our hands when a black passes through town, and we mock jews
it would compare to who cares

All ESPN will talk about all week is Brady vs Favre: who is better all-time?
Insightful.

Wow, it would be horrible if ESPN discussion were reduced to banal sports debates.
