Here are the rules for the game (for each conference):
1. Pick the 2 winners from the divisional WILD-CARD** weekend, 2 winners AND 2 losers of the divisional round, and the winner and loser of the conference championship game.
2. As a tiebreaker, also note the following two things: total points the conference champion will give up and total TD's scored by the conference champion in the playoffs (not including the Super Bowl). The total points given up will be the primary tiebreaker and total TD's scored will be the secondary.
3. PM me your entries by 11:59pm Eastern Time on Friday, January 4. If you choose to enter the contest for both the AFC and NFC, please combine your picks into one PM.
Scoring
Each Correct Winner in Wild-Card Round = 2 points (4 points possible in this round per conference)
Each Correct Winner in Divisional Round = 2 points
Each Correct Loser in Divisional Round = 1 point (6 points possible in this round per conference)
Correct Winner of Conference Championship = 4 points

To clarify the rules... your bracket does not have to make sense. That's why you get points for both the winners and losers. You can, for example, pick the skins to win in round 1 but not pick them to win or lose in round 2.

It also means that if Dallas and Green Bay win this weekend, and Green Bay goes to the Super Bowl, you will be down to the tiebreaker with MDS and reese.

It's actually fairly straight-forward, cocheese. I decided to add a wrinkle where people who try too hard to be witty could hang themselves by picking someone to lose one week that they had already picked to lose the previous week. You might want to note how well that worked out.
You might also be confused by the early elimination of some people from contention.

You simply can't compete with the likes of reese and rjs.
That said, you still can win the AFC, but only if:
--The Patriots and Colts both win this weekend
--The Colts beat the Patriots in the AFC Championship
Any other combo, and you're farged there too.
More fun:
As soon as Green Bay has given up 25 total points in the playoffs, rjs is eliminated. He picked them to give up only 17 points en route to winning the NFC. Reese picked them to surrender 32 points in doing so.
