In just a few short hours, I will return home from doing errands--got to do an oil change on my brother's Mazda, swap out some broken lenses on my 745, among other things--to read this exciting thread.

Make me proud, fools.

it did because the giants could not just blitz like they did the last time. running the ball held them off.

yeah and that first run...they actually lined up buckhalter too.

its shocking to see that having 2 RBs on at the same time can actually confuse a D.

waste a timeout.

mcnabb needlessly hit twice on this drive so far. first was offsides then on 4th and short on the qb sneak gets hit by a CB, helmet flys off or gets ripped off and mcnabb shook up.

We ran the ball and sustained one TD drive and another okay drive leading to nothing. 3rd drive they go 3 passes and out. Whats Reid gonna do here?

4th drive they go 3 passes and out  :boom

He'll try and take back to back time outs.  First he'll get a penalty and then when the refs realize that the Eagles only had one to left, they'll call a tech and the giants get a free throw.

and that 3rd down play...a 1 yd pass to LJ in the flats? even if he caught it what was he going to do? gain another 2 and be tackles or pushed out of bounds?

Why in the farg is Andy Reid not putting the ball in Westbrook's hands?

It's bad enough when the offense goes 3 and out.  It's even worse when they go 3 and out and backwards at the same time.

On the plus side though, Goose is not annoying me at all today.  In fact, his comments have pretty much all been relevant and a few of them have even been informative.

If you rewatch when Dawk breaks up that pass he comes down with a forearm to Plax's chin/chest area. Looked like he did it on purpose too. Andre Waters lives.

I've noticed that about him for most of his career.  When he goes up with a reciever like that he almost always comes down on top of the reciever and hits them on the way down.

The balance isn't bad.  It's just the actual play calls themselves that have sucked.  I don't see any reason for them to ever go 3 consecutive plays in the redzone and not even attempt to put the ball in a RB's hands either by running or throwing.

i realize the run is carving them up and the coach is being smart and running for once but why on a 3rd and 5?

its as if they were playing for the 4rth down.

i just know they will not convert this 4th down and the game is over.

doesnt help that they wasted so much time on that drive by not going into a hurry up offense.

QuoteThis is going to be very painful for everyone, guys. Terrible team right now. No excuses. 5-8 is lousy. Yes, a WR. Many other things, too.

Uh oh.

The sickening part is listening to Joe Buck say things like "The legend of Tony Romo continues to grow" and making retarded comparisons to Brady. Romo's having a great year, now let him do it for 4-5 years and win 3 super bowls. Then compare him to Tom Brady.

Tony who?
He's a good QB, but seriously, what has he done?
