That stinker suddenly becomes an intriguing game to watch. I gotta find out how far the senility has progressed, and if he's back to drinking now that he's had that new liver for a few years.
how old is he? in his 80s?
Depends on if you count the cryogenically frozen years or not.
Summerall is a really old 77. He had a liver transplant in 2004.
If this isn't anything more than another attempt by ESPN to kiss the asses of the Patriots, I don't know what is... :-D
Matter of fact... it's the only one on the list that I've never even heard of. I even just asked a guy born and raised in Boston and he didn't even know it by name and thinks that it's stupid.

Yep, that's lame as hell. ESPN's clearly running out of list topics too.

I'd venture to say they won't miss a beat. Bush has been, at best, average this season. Dude looked like he was running in wet concrete since the start of the season.
He also leads the league in fumbles.

Sheldon Brown says "hi".

At least Philly got #3. Problem is they left out the best part of the celebration, the Eagles chant at the end of the song.

QuoteSo, OK, this one's actually a pre-touchdown celebration, but it's pretty original, so it makes the list.
Every time the Steelers cross the 20-yard line and thus venture into the red zone, the two 35-foot-tall faux Heinz ketchup bottles on either side of the Heinz Field Jumbotron tilt 15 degrees, raise their caps and proceed to pour virtual ketchup onto the screen.
As the Steelers faithful wave their Terrible Towels and the men in black and gold chip their way toward the goal line, the screen fills up. Yes, it's a corporate gimmick; but it may well be the most innovative one in all of sports.
And what better topping could there be for a Roethlis-burger, anyway, than at little Heinz when Big Ben is leading Pittsburgh to the promised land?
Simply awful.
I've experienced the Chiefs celebration on there, although I didn't know that the song has been banned by the NFL now. I also experienced the Vikings horn which is annoying as all hell. In both cases though, we started mocking the fans and using their own chants against them.
1pm games:
DAL @ DET
CAR @ JAC
OAK @ GB
MIA @ BUF
NYG @ PHI
SD @ TEN
TB @ HOU
STL @ CIN
Starting today at QB: Vinny Testaverde, Sage Rosenfels, Brock Berlin, Luke McCown, Josh McCown
Notable inactives: Matt Schaub, Jesse Chatman, Marty Booker, Gibril Wilson, Marc Bulger, Jeff Garcia, Roy Williams
Notable actives: Marshawn Lynch, DeShaun Foster, T.J. Houshmandzadeh, Brandon Jacobs, Plaxico Burress, Donovan McNabb, Brian Westbrook, Joey Galloway, Ike Hilliard, Charles Woodson, Brett Favre, Ronald Curry, Jerry Porter, Shawne Merriman, Albert Haynesworth
10 minutes into the BUF-MIA game, it's 21-0 Bills. The Dolphins are already concentrating on the Patriots game, no doubt.
Phillip Rivers limped into the locker room and has been replaced by Billy Volek. Looks like the Chargers will be going into halftime with 0 points against the Titans.
I'm sure they'll blow it but until they do go Detroit

I'm not sure anyone cares, but a Detroit loss is relatively crucial to the Eagles' playoff hopes.
DET 27 DAL 14 with 4:19 left in the 3rd.
Will Blackmon has two TDs in the Green Bay-Oakland game.
Dallas scores with 18 seconds left to take the lead. :boom
Chargers/Titans in OT after a last-second TD by San Diego
UPDATE: LT wins it from about 18 out
Wow - Moss just caught a beautiful pass from Brady after a sensational ball fake.
Nice to see Arizona and San Francisco showed up today
Looks like Pittsburgh is no match either. Two easy wins at home and they're 15-0 heading to New York.
Seattle is about to clinch the NFC West (again).
16-0 makes an early playoff exit all the more enjoyable.
Late games:
New England obliterated Pittsburgh.
Minnesota obliterated San Francisco.
Seattle obliterated Arizona.
Denver obliterated Kansas City.
Cleveland scored more points than Mike Nugent.
An exciting late afternoon of NFL action.
San Francisco, St. Louis, Atlanta, Kansas City, Oakland, Cincinnati and Baltimore were all eliminated from the playoffs today
A couple of flex games on next year's schedule have now been determined:
Dallas @ Green Bay
Green Bay @ Seattle
the Ravens can't go 2 or 3 plays without somebody getting hurt...Hoydas
37-7 Colts and they haven't reached the 2:00 warning yet :-D
Collinsworth at halftime: "We'd like to thank our audience....Colts fans....mom....dad...."
If this debacle doesn't get Billick fired, then I don't know what would. The Ravens are getting totally manhandled out there. Humiliated even.
Just awful.
Addai got what he needed to make my fantasy team victorious. Otherwise, who cares.
Most predictable blowout ever. Anything the Ravens had they left on the field last week.
