Thomas would be a bigger loss. Swinging Gate Winston maybe gets another shot...
QuoteBunkley joins McNabb and Mikell on inactive list
By Bob Brookover
INQUIRER STAFF WRITER
Defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley willl miss today's game with a sprained medial collateral ligament in his left knee, an injury he suffered late in the fourth quarter of the Eagles' loss at New England a week ago.
Bunkley, listed as questionable on Friday's injury report, had practiced only in a limited capacity during the week and, according to coach Andy Reid, also had suffered hamstring spasms that were related to the knee injury.
It was the first time this season Bunkley missed a game and the first time in his NFL career that he missed a game because of an injury. Bunkley missed one game as a rookie last season when he was benched for missing the team charter to Indianapolis.
Kimo von Oelhoffen, a 14-year veteran, will start in Bunkley's place, which was surprising because he had not dressed for a game since Week 3 when the Eagles played the Detroit Lions. The Eagles had been dressing just three true defensive tackles the last four weeks with LaJuan Ramsey joining Bunkley and Mike Patterson. Defensive end Darren Howard has been playing defensive tackle in passing situations for the entire season and, in fact, has seen more time at tackle than he has at end.
As expected, quarterback Donovan McNabb (sprained right ankle) and safety Quintin Mikell (sprained right knee ligament) were also inactive because of injuries.
Running back Tony Hunt, guards Max Jean-Gilles and Scott Young, defensive end Victor Abiamiri and defensive tackle Montae Reagor were also among the Eagles' inactive players.
Why the farg are Reagor and Abiamiri inactive if Bunkley is hurt and can't go?
siragusa just mentioned how the field is wet and the ball is slippery.
you know what that means...both coaches will air it out.
awesome, Tatupu strikes again
LMAO :-D :-D :-D
Jesus Christ.
And Takeo has a ball thrown right to him and drops it
Way to concentrate on making the catch, TKO.
Donovan looks ridiculous by the way
Andy and AJ are going to lead us to the promised land!
... as long as the "promised land" is a 5-11 record...
Can this team actually force a turnover? Wow.
have the eagles started every game out of shotgun?
Fly Eagles fly :puke

Force a turnover? This defense can't even have one forced upon them.
The Seahawks #51 is better than our #51.
Remember when we used to complain that Reid never used the shot gun? hah.
The Birds should have put in DMac for the first pass. Opening up a game isn't AJ's strong suit.
When do the "We want Kolb" chants start?
why are they airing it out in this horrible weather, farging joke by the fat man and Marty
Stop if you've heard this one before:
First down incomplete
2nd down run for 3
Wow, actually a nice pitch-and-catch with Brown for a first down.
CBuck! Beautiful play, they were mortified of Westbrook.
Running the ball.

NICE runs by Westbrook and TD run by Buck.

You could be right - I'm trying to watch the game with my 4 year old and infant scampering through the house.

This defense can't BUY a turnover.
the eagles can not even recover a fumble just laying there.
Gotta get those red zone fumbles..good field position though
I thought he was down anyway, that dude apparently broke his johnson
It's his tribute to Sean Taylor.
Might want to stop throwing that pass, AJ.
This feels like the Seahawks game from 3 years ago
JR Rees > Sean Considine.
14-7
Feeley is a f'ing joke
ugh.....can DMAC play?
Joselio Hanson and Will James > No one.
I miss Rod Hood.

It's early - there's plenty of time for the other Seahawks' defenders to get their chance.
where is he throwing? in double coverage? why are they airing it out?
why am i asking the same questions every game.
AJ is just making piss poor decisions out there.
AJ looks horrible, he threw one there to Greg Lewis into double coverage. nice one to curtis though
Feeley looks like McNabb out there.
running 2 rushing plays in a row is cancer.
He just looks shaky....play well on the road; get the jitters at home ???

or it could have to do with the fact the field and weather conditions call for a running attack and andy wants to air it out still.
Some good ballbusting going on between Goose and Moose.
at least the new sod looks OK :-\
Ugly three and out there.
great defense.
what happened to the defense and offense we saw last week?
i knew they would not get up for another game. no pressure on the QB whatsoever. no blitzing.
Seahawks TD against extremely broken Eagles coverage.
This coaching staff, Feeley and defense should all be shot. Now.
That Westbrook kid is pretty good. He may need to be used more often.
Back to a 4 point game.
ohhh and that was such a bad looking pass too
shootout style game!
AJ's going to have at least two more picks today.
Got lucky there
Huge backfield tackle by Gocong. Guy's been making some plays lately. ???
The defense is doing fine when the offense and the special teams don't give the Seahawks the ball in Eagles territory.
feeley didnt look for his boy g lewis on that TD play. he got lucky on that pass to curtis.
Since when did the Eagles practice clock management?
better get the TD here

Ouch. No attempts at going to the outside.
well that sucked
what was the point of that 2nd down play? play action when westbrook is not on the field? from the goaline?
and then to limit the options to tapeh and lj smith?

i think most know that...this game is exposing how bad the seahawks are as well. if the eagles have a competent play caller they could be winning this game right now.
Runyan got flat out whipped on that play. Bernard got him and made the play.
Why not run the flip 90 play? Pitch it out to Westbrook and let him make a dash for the pylon.
farging idiot coaching staff.
farging idiot QB too. Stupid throw to Smith on the 2nd down play.

I like the aggressive call, but that play was straight out of the Racists playbook. Hand the ball off 3 yards behind the LOS on 4th and inches. Brilliant.

sad but true.
on that last defensive series. that 3rd down pass...is it me or is lito at least once or twice a game looking like hes running slowly and looking back at the QB while the WR is just streaking by him?
it was a hard catch but if the ball is thrown a lil better branch has a pretty nice reception there for a first down.
Wow that was ugly.
Morris to the house.....more brutal attempts at tackling
i love how the running game is completely abandoned now.
right after westbrook scores his TD.
Where did the running game go?
why is feeley constantly throwing into double coverage?
brown wasn't even open on that play. he didn't even look anywhere else.
and on cue akers misses.
the last 2 offensive possessions have been horrible. with the lead the abandon the run completely.
Akers misses again
did anyone think he was going to make that kick? i guess we can blame the conditions for that one.
Pass more.

the only intelligent observation siragusa has said all day other than pointing out that it's raining is how Feeley is staring his receivers down.

I hope we don't run the ball again for the rest of the game.
I'm still in Awe why in a game with the weather like it is, you dont dress Hunt just to run the farging ball.
Its apparent the LB's need to practice interceptions
WHY THE farg ARE YOU PASSING ON 3RD AND 1?
this is a joke. when does the BCS selection show start?
LOL
Run: gain 6 yards
Run: gain 3 more
Pass: Incompletion.
Punt.
FIRE THAT FAT corksuckER RIGHT NOW. DON'T EVEN WAIT UNTIL THE END OF THE GAME.
obviously the seahawks are looking for a run on 3rd 1 so why not shock them with a play action pass to a TE who has butterfingers?
besides westbrook is too fragile and running the ball 3 times in a row would break him down.
Seattle converts two 3rd downs in a row and continues to eat up clock
My prediction for this next drive...
Pass: Incomplete
Run: Gain 3 yards
Pass: Incomplete
Punt.

Eagles offense comes up small when it needed to come up big. Now the Eagles are putting a tired defense that is really going to have to struggle to get the offense the ball back.
this team is so disgustingly bad, and its mostly the playcalling
with about 5 min left you can forget about running the ball completely now.
another shocker...buckhalter has not been involved whatsoever since he ran for his TD. even though that play highlighted how he can be used with westbrook as a decoy.

I dunno, there has been a whole lot of bad execution also. Feeley throwing passes that he shouldn't have even considered, and the defense not capitalizing on multiple easy turnover opportunities.
Dolphins clearly offsides there on first down, but not called.
Using a GameBreak for a plug, I don't remember FOX doing that before.
Next play will determine whether the Eagles can stay in the game.

First time in a long long time I'm happy we lost. The Eagles winning today does nothing. At least if we lose Andy has a chance to get fired and big changes have a chance to take place.
Nice, and great work Andy. We couldn't have lost without ya.
Westbrook should have just cut back to the middle of the field...that guy on the inside was the punter, he wasn't tackling you Westy. TD, Game over.
As soon as he went out of bounds I lost all faith that they'd pull this out. The play calling has been relatively bad all game. Feeley should not be asked to pass that much in this weather.

i cant believe the fat man ran the ball with no timeouts left with 30 seconds left.
when he hasn't run the ball at all in the 4rth qrt he ran the ball there.
WHY ISN'T WESTBROOK RETURNING PUNTS ALL GAME? he has hester like ability to change the game.
feeley is a joke. take a sack - self induced sack that is on first down with no timeouts. moron. once again staring his receiver down who is obviously covered. now i know why this guy never did shtein in Miami or San Diego. Time for Kolb.

bro, you ok? you sound like me last night.
Patterson has basically turned from a pass rushing DT to a run stopping one, and he's ok at it, but will never be dominant because once again, he's undersized
I still say Patterson gets some numbers up bc Gocong is turning them inside. Patterson also gets tackles by getting blown off the ball, then catching the RB from behind in his "high motor pursuit".
AJ passed the ball 42 times on a wet, rainy, snowy, sleety day. Andy and AJ are both farg tards. And what's with this defense going all pre-patriots suck ass again? At least Reed hit someone today. Jesus farging Christ Westbrook in money.
This team needs a new face, young cocky, playmaker with leadership on both sides of the ball. farging something. Trade for a SS/FS and a round 1 pick or a WR round 1 pick for McNabb, since you might as well get something for nothing, if anyone is sucker enough to give up some goods.

Actually back in the day he was a TV newsman, way back when there was no 24/7 Sportscenter and you had to watch the 11o'clock news to see the highlights.
Those days sucked...
"There was a time, a time before cable. When the local anchorman reigned supreme. When people believed everything they heard on TV. This was an age when only men were allowed to read the news. And in San Diego, one anchorman was more man then the rest. His name was Ron Burgundy. He was like a god walking amongst mere mortals. He had a voice that could make a wolverine purr and suits so fine they made Sinatra look like a hobo. In other words, Ron Burgundy was the balls. "
