Fixed. Everyone picked the Patriots last week.
I'm going to hold off until Sunday to make my prediction.
For the first time this year I genuinely have no idea what to expect. Does Reid come out with another solid game plan? Can the defense slow down another pass-first offense? I can't get a feel for it but I rarely give Reid the benefit of the doubt and I don't think that this week is the time to start...
West to east coast travel, no Hackett, Birds played well last week. They continue for a win
Birds 23
Seahawks 19
travel = meaningless
hackett = meaningless with the weather
birds played well last week = irrelevant
almost impossible to predict if the weather forecasts hold true...i just dont see the eagles getting up for this game like they did for NE...they are going to be favored playing in awful weather before a dead crowd with a fair amount of empty seats...i still think the game is a toss up but im gonna pick seattle for no real reason other than it was my feeling immediately after the ne game ended and hasnt left since
seattle 21 eagles 17
Quotetravel = meaningless
hackett = meaningless with the weather-HAHA
birds played well last week = irrelevant
you really are an idiot, and i wont waste my finger strength on explaining why these factors hold true.
The Eagles are Seattle's 20 dollar blow job whore. The last two times the Eagles have played them in Philly they were shut out. The weather is going to be horrendous so naturally Andy will undoubtedly have Feeley throwing the ball 50 times. The Eagles blew their wad against the Patriots and I have a feeling this one will be ugly.
That said...
Eagles 34
Seahawks 16
Difficult to get excited about this game. And that may be the prevailing wind.
Win and the next couple get interesting, but thats the extent of the upside to this one. (Other than maybe get another 2nd for Feeley next year!)
Lose and the rest becomes putting lipstick on McNabb for the trade dance, and "pre-season" snaps for Kolb. And we start threads listing who stays and who goes.
It will be close and ugly.
Eagles 17
Seahags 14
I have a bad feeling that Holmgram knows Andy better then Andy. Somehow though I'm going with a win.
Eagles 24 - 17
Does it really matter?
Seahawks 24
Eagles 14
Eagles 20-17.
Eagles are used up after last week.
Seachickens 20
Real Birds 13
Eagles - 24
Seahawks - 13
I said after the Miami game I would never pick the Eagles again. History tends to repeat itself and history says the Eagles play much better late in the season then early. I'm probably wrong here but:
Eagles 20
Seahawks 13
20 cockteasers
17 seabags
I didn't get to this thread in time, but I'm gonna go with:
Seahawks - 28
Eagles - 24
A.J. Feeley will make everyone miss Donovan McNabb by throwing 4 boneheaded INT's and not even have the decency to throw one of them a defensive back. fargface.
Been traveling, but in the office pick 'em pool I picked the Eagles, 20-17.

It did, but I had ESPN Radio on in the rental car, and damn near caused a 12-car pile-up on 55N when they said Feely threw an INT on the 4.
