It looks like the selection of road games next season will be zesty.
Dallas
N.Y.
Wash
Seattle
Baltimore
Cincy
S.F.
NFC North Team
In the event the NFC north team is Chicago or Green Bay, those will be my selections. I don't know what everyone else things. But those are my nominations. I don't know what it will take for that to happen, but I'm crossing my fingers.
Little early, but what the hell.
It all comes down to the scheduling. Chicago or Green Bay in December? Probably not. Any game on Christmas, New year's and thanksgiving week/weekend is automatically out for me.
Seattle - domes suck, but I gotta hit it sometime.
Baltimore - I've heard good things, and it's easy to get to.
Cincy - I can drive there from where I live, so that's cool.
SF - I need to do it, but you two homos went there instead of New Orleans
I've been to Dallas, and NY and Washington happens every year. I'll hit them someday, but there's no rush. I've sorta been to Chicago, but it was the year they played in Champaign, and as Sarge pointed out, the goal is NFL stadiums, not NFL teams playing anywhere.
QWest Field isn't a dome, bro.
Ha.. I'm an internet loser.
Hey don't short yourself. You suck in real life too!
If the Eagles trade for Chad Johnson, I'm going to the Cincinnati game.
I've already been to Seattle but that was the Kingdome. I'd go back again to check out the new stadium. Plus I lived there for almost 4 years so I can totally be the tour guide and accidently take you fargers to Canada, Portland or the the Pacific Ocean.
B-more would be decent because igy could be the host and let us all crash at his place.

40'oz and flows all night if that's the case. IGY, get your instrumentals ready! 8)
No one wants to go to Baltimore. What the hell is wrong with you guys?
If you do go, go to Night Shift. You'll farging fall in love.
mass cf orgy at igy's house > mass cf orgy at rjs' house
baltimore wouldnt be a roadie for me....i can almost walk there...but it may turn out to be the best bet in terms of tickets as the ravens are super close to completely imploding...wont quite happen this year but next year they are gonna ostrich nuts

i gots the flows the hoes and the 40 O's
By the way, Dio, don't you live in Baltimore?
Dio will be there if igy ever lets him out of the basement.
Sure do.
I need to visit everywhere on that list but Lambeau (and, oh yeah, Minnesota). And I'm definitely making it next year, wherever. Baltimore is pretty nice, too, I don't know what you guys are bitching about. The waterfront is beautiful.
I said in the other thread, Baltimore would be easy for me. Any out of towners except mexicans are welcome.
In Baltimore you'll get vigy, seabiscuit and me. That ought to be enough to dissaude even you idiots from coming here.
Who wouldn't want to meet the resident iconoclast, whose expertise is gin and tonics?

Dio lives in Bodymore, i live in klanland, and IGY lives with racists
I could go for some wings from MaGerk's right now.

You are seriously underestimating the level of idiocy in us, that's for sure.
Baltimore seems to be the early leader.

If you're trying to talk us out of it, you're failing.
if anyone is interested id be more than willing to take everyone on the wire walking tour
It depends on if it would infringe on tailgating and drinking.

shtein, now that would mean that's another show I'd have to make time for.
Move over Heroes and journeyman (I really enjoy that show).
san francisco
seattle
baltimore - IN
cincinnati - IN
chicago
washington - IN
dallas
ny giants
i'd be down for b-more, dallas or chicago.
id prefer chi over cincy but the problem with chicago is unless its late in the season and the bears are out of it tickets are difficult and expensive to get

What if Donovan McNabb is quarterbacking the Bears?
I'd be all over Chicago.
bodymore roadie = sat night party @ igy's
IN
your big roadie was this year....down broad to the stadium complex....lets not get crazy
lol
actually i should be covering temple football games next year, which means flying to the likes of kent state and western michigan to cover games, so my eagles watching/going to games could be hindered.

so pitt game is a home game for sure?
yes.....not looking forward to that takeover at all
yeah it'll be interesting. my girl and i have basically been planning this game for 3 years. for her sake i was hoping it would be in pittsburgh.
also, i never knew they determined home/away games so early. is there some kind of formula involved or what?
hopefully it will be earlier in the season before the eagles have a chance to be bad....because if its a late season game where tickets are being given away i wont even go.....it will be worse than a red sox phillies game
yeah its a formula
all games are predetermined both in opponent and location...except for two games each year which are determined by place of finish
the 09 schedule for example is this
home
new orleans
tampa bay
denver
kc
a team in the nfc west that finishes in the same place in their division as the eagles do in the nfc east
away
atlanta
carolina
oakland
sd
nfc north
2009 Carolina roadie = IN
interesting. i knew the opponent formula but i didn't know location was factored in there as well.
San Fran for sure this time. I'd also go to Baltimore for no other reason than to see Dio.
Depending on the actual dates, I'm in for these:
seattle
baltimore
cincinnati
chicago
washington
i would basically go to any and all of the away games, with my last choice being Cincinnati.
cincy is the only one i can make (other than the obvious baltimore game) because its the only one i can make an easy drive too...8 hrs west baby
chicago is a 17 hr train which i would do but as i mentioned tickets will be way harder and more expensive to get....plus bears fans are dicks
We're bigger dicks and proud of it.
yeah thats my whole point...im not trying to end up in a southside jail
Quote from: ice grillin you on January 03, 2008, 09:46:32 AMchicago is a 17 hr train which i would do but as i mentioned tickets will be way harder and more expensive to get....plus bears fans are dicks
I took the train from NYC to Chicago once...easily the worst experience ever on a train in the U.S. Amtrak doesn't have rights to most of the rails after they cross the Hudson, so the train stops and wait every time a freight train comes by. We were hours late...it farging sucked.
For you, I recommend it.
for me theres no other option....you took a train and could have flown....i win
you can't fly why? too scared? too fat to fit in the seat?
i mean it wouldnt be on my list of favorite things to do anyway but its definitely a weight thang
never fingered igy for being scared of flying. aint no thing shorty, overcome them fears and give it a go.
well shiiat, judging from experience, I thought all of you big 'uns didn't give a farg about squashing us on the plane, subway, etc.
thanks for looking out
it more the plane being able to get off the ground than yours or anyone elses comfort
You make it sound like you're pushing 4 bills or some shtein.
Yeah dude you're not that big. Just fess up to the fear.
Well you two should hang out and decide together.
Is "decide" some sort of lingo for butt secks?
via an anonymous vote we will all decide together at dios crib during the pregame CF raven eagle get together
I anonymously vote that you two make out with each other and leave the rest of us alone.
IGY is B.A. Baracus
I'm definitely in for Bodymore if thats the trip, my comatose brother is in also
Maybe, just maybe, we can get Phanatic to rejoin the tradition and join us.
Maybe... Money's been tight... 8)

Same... with a Chicago possible.
I'm already at the Cincy game. Less than 7 hours from me and I used to live there so there's plenty of places I can shack up for the weekend. Plus, my cousin will get me comp tix and/or an on-field pass. It'd be incredible if it's Chad's return trip to the 'Nati.
The others take a little more effort, but they're definitely doable.

You already know... and I'll
try to make the Atlanta game as well.
Feva, are you not in ATL anymore? I know Cincy's a lot further from Atlanta than that.
Yeah, I'm still in Atlanta. It's not further... at least not when you've got a lead foot like I do. I've made that drive plenty of times. I usually make it in about 6 and 45... but I've made it in 6 and 15 before.
atlanta to cincy = 461 miles according to the map johnson
that def less than a 7 hr dirve
Don't you have to drive through some bassackwards places in Kentucky and Tennessee and shtein, though?

Right on....I never realized that they were actually that close together. Obviously I wasn't looking at a map when I posted that.
I'm going to Dallas this year and I will have seats close enough to harass TO.

Can I give you some free advice? Take the Obama sticker off your car before leaving your house.
Can I leave the Obama air freshener hanging from the rearview at least?
Btw... I mentioned this before but one time taking that trip to Cincy, I caught a flat tire on the highway somewhere in backass Tennessee... the name of the place escapes me now.
No doubt in my mind I set the world record for putting a spare on a car. None.
Didn't want to give anyone a chance to be nice to you, huh?
Nice or noose?
