QuoteThe Philadelphia Eagles have declared FS Brian Dawkins, QB Kevin Kolb, DL Kimo von Oelhoffen, OG Max Jean-Gilles, LB Pago Togafau, OG Scott Young, RB Tony Hunt, DL Victor Abiamiri inactive for Week 8.
Damn... I straight up forgot that they signed Von Oelhoffen. Probably haven't thought about the guy once since the Eagles signed him.
hahha hunt is in active.
:(
Everyone ready for an exciting game???
:-o
timeout on the third play of the game....incredible
pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass
The Eagles would be stupid to run today. I hope they pass 60 times. Against the worst pass defense in the NFL? Absolutely. Any other day I'd want balance. Today Andy can pass all game. Expose their weaknesses.
will james sucks so bad
what a stupid careless penalty by Sheldon...farging stupid
its actually funny how poorly coached they are
The sad thing is that I'm not even getting angry anymore. I'm just apathetic.
The Eagles suck.

I also loved how we went our first 4 plays straight up shotgun. I like that. Really confuses the defense. And then go into I formation and run the ball. Vikings heads must be spinning!
WHO DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING?
Rory is the worst special teams coach in the NFL.
haha thats awesome good job childress stick it right to the fat fargs head
Ha! Childress is whoppin' on Reid using his own stupid trick plays.
all the fat farg could do was smile
This coaching staff is completely overmatched.
Did anyone hear Baldy put all the blame on McNabb, saying that the playcalling has been "fine?"
Jonesing for a coaching job, Baldinger?
no discipline...on the field, at home, at the buffet table...anywhere

good to see Sheldon not lineup in the backfield there

I'm beginning to think that the average IQ of the team actually
dropped when they IR'ed Ryan Moats.
Trent Cole is the only bright spot on this team. Dude is a monster.
i'm not acknowledging that receiver
Why is Greg Lewis taunting? He shouldn't even have a job right now.
why do they keep running Westbrook up the middle against these tackles? how about a sweep or a pitch? christ almighty
oh my god they are retarded

They mixed it up and ran Buck in the middle against those tackles.
Red zone offense shteins the bed again.
3 plays at the goal line and your best farging player doesn't touch the ball INEXCUSABLE
3rd defensive penalty less than 10 minutes in the game. Minnesota scores on their only 7th trip into the red zone all year = touchdown. Considine gets run over. Our special teams aren't paying attention and can't recover a surprise onsides kick. This is awesome! Not to mention the play action/9 foot drop that surprises no one and has McNabb runnning for his life. again.
Baldinger needs to die. "Adrian Peterson has the strongest. Hands! You'll ever see." "A. Winfield, is the best tackling corner in football. ... He's almost unblockable."
its more funny than infuriating at this point. talent wise, they can't compete anyway, so let's laugh and get a better draft pick. the only games needed to win are the division games, purely out of spite for the other teams.
Akers = MVP because if it wasn't for him this team wouldn't put up any points.
Another great redzone effort. farging bums.
Jackson is getting owned in the middle.

Yep. Earlier in the year and years prior, if I didnt get the game on TV I'd follow along on the interwebs and on this board. I don't do that anymore. I still care and wish they'd stop playing like shtein, but now they're exactly what I expect. I was sitting down earlier and when they interrupted Giants - Dolphins, to show Shiancoe's TD, I couldn't help but laugh. I'm not going to get worked up after/during a game until it actually means something.
Considine just tackled Peterson with no help. I don't believe it.
How the hell do you go offsides on a kickoff in the NFL? This team is abysmal.
I think I made the right decision not to go out of my way today to see the Eagles play today. I'm checking on the computer, but am stuck watching the Giants against the Dolphins or the Bengals vs. Pitt. From what I am reading in this game thread, I made the right decision.

Ditto
Holy farg. I just read on here that Hunt is inactive. What the farg? I might seriously consider a farging boycott (EDIT: It makes me sick to know I'm full of shtein) of this team if farging heads don't roll at the end of this season.
3rd and 2. shotgun. 1st down!!
No question at all that was a catch.
You knew it was a catch, I knew it was a catch, but aren't we all just a bit surprised it wasn't overtuned anyway?
1st down: -2 yard pass.
2nd down: play action! McNabb runs for his life and throws the ball away
3rd down: shotgun, HORRIBLE throw behind R. Brown, probably 6 if McNabb threw the ball half decent. Reggie makes the catch - pickup of 30
*wow* Reggie Brown 4 catches 60 yards so far...
but...they are now in the redzone :(
TD by Westbrook. See what happens when you don't go shotgun and pass it every play you fat farg.

that 36 can play a little bit
This 36 guy likes to get into the end zone frequently. He needs the ball. He makes going over the top look easy.

Just go ahead and let them score to get the momentum at halftime. All part of Andy's master plan, I'm sure.
Melting down at the end of the game is built into JJ's scheme, looks like he's trying to apply his 2 minute D to the first half also.

hahaha, wtf was he thinking
Ok, what just happened on the kick off?
Childress learned at the feet of the master.
baldinger has been slurping peterson calling him the best back in football. that deformed farger is quite smart.
I think they might get the ball at the 40. Peterson only had one foot in bounds after he caught it and put the other foot OOB. I think that counts as an OOB possession. I remember Chad Morton did it like 4 years ago and got it at the 40.
Edit: ok the foot ahs to be OOB first.
I remember that play... I thought they changed the rule following that.
Gocong sighting.
Gocong gets pushed out of the endzone, followed up by Matt McCoy killing the kicker and getting a 15 yarder.
Newsflash: Matt McCoy is a bleepin' idiot.
Matt McCoy is a moron.
Brian Westbrook = GAWD
Dawkins looks like he wants to rip McCoy's head right off.

they're only up 4 points with more than 7 minutes to go when they got the ball back, you play your normal offense and try to get another score...you don't try to run the clock out. more points
another short FG.....23-16, 5:09 left
Good - Eagles up by 6 late in the 4th.
Bad - Still plenty of time to allow the Vikes to make a 90 yard drive and win the game.
:boom
Clock management? Bueller? Anyone? Clock management?
They do have one of the top RBs on the team... :-\
I think Andy is obsessed with Sportscenter and he figures the only way to get the Eagles on Sportscenter is with passing highlights... that's gotta be it, because otherwise this shtein makes no farging sense.
i don't understand what the problem is...it's not like they are up by 14 here...they were up by 4, you have to try and get more points there, and they scored their points by passing the ball down the field
Kearse with a sack. :o

The problem is they don't run any time off the clock while they're winging the ball down the field. It's great when they can do that and score touchdowns at the end, but they don't/can't so without eating more clock all they're doing is giving the D less time to rest, not putting up enough points to build a decent lead, and leaving too much time for the opposition to mount drive of their own.
