I'm tired of hearing each and every game when the camera pans to Jim Johnson on how his defensive 'scheme' brings problems to opposing offenses because of our blitzing. That the Eagles bring it from all angles.
Yeah, the Eagles blitz from all angles....all the angles that SUCK!
I've never seen a team blitz more times and people and get little to no results. EVERY OTHER team out there 'blitzes' better than us. Other teams create havoc with one or two guys extra crashing the line than us sending 3 to 9 guys. Everytime I see us going for the blitz, it's always bad news. 20 times out of 4, the other team will get the 1st down or better.
I'm tired of that shtein. I'm tired of us blitzing and blitzing at the wrong times. I cringe when I see us blitz.
Its because everyone knows we blitz and the other teams do something our coaches don't, "game planing and adjusting"
wonderful fargin concept
reno mahe. i am sick of him. i hate him. reno last week had an opening like no other but he's so damn slow he couldn't even burn a bunch of special teamers. piss poor return game. whatever happened to the brian mitchells. can we please get a fargin returner already.
linebackers. please god help them figure out linebacker is an important position.
mormon players. enough already.
eagles are second in the nfl in sacks.....were 8th last year....and other than trent cole i havent seen anyone gettin their man on a consistent basis
the blitzs work
they always have
and still do
"I gotta do a better job at that."
The O-line can't pick up a blitz to save their lives. I often asked myself why D-coordinators didn't blitz more over the years. Now that McNabb is less mobile they're coming after him more on a regular basis.
I've never seen play action used more poorly then when the Eagles use it
I'm tired of the Breast Cancer Awareness shtein being overblown. I know its for a great cause but the Eagles go overboard with it.
I'm tired of not being able to eat whatever I want.
I want some farging chicken wings and french fries, damn it!
Oh, and I'm tired of the Eagles not running the ball more than they pass it.

thats fine and dandy, but id rather them be number one defense and actually being contenders to win the super bowl. problem is teams adjust to the eagles blitz and have been successful at doing it. those are the teams that beat us and are contenders. IT DOESN'T WORK unless they have a adjustment to the other teams adjustments. ha! AIDS! I WIN!
over jj's and reids tenure they have had plenty of defenses good enough to win the superbowl...the problem now is not the scheme its the talent

anticlimatic drafts.
I'm tired of...
Surprise! pass on first and 10. They'll never see it coming. Incomplete.
2nd and 10. NOW we'll run the ball for 2 yards.
3rd and long.
Sweet.

Go on Atkins, and you can have the wings (unless they are breaded, which is nasty anyway). Sorry about the fies. Have some celery with blue cheese.
Back on topic...
If every year my projects failed to live up to expectations, and I went to my boss and took responsibility for the failure, my ass would be out on the street. You know what Andy? If every mistake this team makes is your fault, why don't we solve these problems by
eliminating the cause?!?

fixed.
I am tired of having average to poor WRs. How about getting a guy that is truly a #1 for more than a season and a half.
I'm tired of the Reid, McNabb, Lurie, Banner love fest where no one is held accountable for anything other than the team's financial bottom line and there isn't an unlicked scrotum in the house.
also...
3rd and 22-Inside Draw to Westbrook.
WTF. If you're going to pass the whole game, you might as well go for it in a 3rd and extremely long situation.
It's pretty difficult to distinguish this thread from all of the other threads in the Eagles Talk section.
Captain Obvious: I'm tired of not winning a friggin' Super Bowl.

too funny.... I agree all the way.. every game they talk about JJ's blitzing .
I'm tired of this thread.
I'm tired of seeing Andy Reid on the sidelines. It makes me want to throw a brick through my TV. Burn his playbook. It's not good enough for me to wipe my butt on so burn it.
I'm tired of Red Zone FG's (3 today and counting)...
This season...
The Eagles.
A 3 man rush against a QB driving down the field for the game winning TD. :boom
seriously what is the purpose of a prevent defense? i never have seen a prevent defense do anything? why not bring the house on a blitz and force griese to handle the pressure?
Andy Reid
Jim Johnson calling a good game then going prevent in the last 2 minutes
Donovan McNabb
Being a fan of this loser ass team.

"wahhhh....it's only 83 with a slight breeze today. I'm going back to bed." :'(
I am royally farging tired of hearing and reading shtein like this from those dopes:
Quote"It's a position we're not used to, but nothing we can't pull ourselves out of," said Donovan McNabb.
Like I said in the other thread, none of the players had answers to what's wrong, but they all had a common theme...."we have to execute what's called by the coaches"
I'm also tired of these losers making me go into work every monday morning hoping that none of my co-workers will ask me about my sorry ass team.
More cliched farging bullshtein from the Michelin Man:
Quote"You have to try to come out and win the next football game," Andy Reid said. "That's what you have to do. There's nothing you can do about this one. You learn from the mistakes and move on."
i'm tired of Sean Considine getting run over in the defensive backfield
the eagles have spadaro on wip right now and they are in full anti donovan spin....there is no question in my mind that hes gone after this year....ive never ever heard a single negative word from spadaro re donovan and todays he rippin him pretty bad
He doesn't deserve to be the fall guy, but whatever. It's going to be a bunch of down years until this team has a chance to win a Super Bowl again. We could be multiple coaches and QB's away. I'll probably be a grandfather.
Still, the Reid/McNabb era has ZERO chance to win one now, so breaking it up is a start.

Well... to be fair, Considine tried to avoid being run over by jumping over Mushin Muhammad after he caught a pass over the middle.
yeah i couldnt believe that play...put your helmet thru his chest or skip and hop around him...considine is just horrific....worse than the muhammed play tho was when devin hester ran right thru him for an extra three yards before he was brought down...devin farging hester should go backwards every single time he gets touched
Ed Hochuli invitiing everyone to the gun show. farg him. How do they add a minute to the clock, then take it away with no explanation?

True that. Think about that for a second.
Considine... who's supposed to have bulked up for run support... let a DB/WR who he literally outweighs by 25 pounds come across the middle and carry him 3-4 extra yards with him on his back.
That Hoyda... Ladies and Gentleman... is the starting strong safety for YOUR Philadelphia Eagles.
-I'm tired of people acting surprised that the Eagles aren't very good after every game.
Sure a win would have felt less like a kick in the groin than that kind of loss...but even without that ridiculous drive, they didn't play well enough to evoke even false hope.
-I'm really tired of Reggie Brown's "hands".
-I'm sick of Considine's "tackling".
-I'm tired of Westbrook being the only legitimate weapon.
-I'm tired of the playcalling on both sides of the ball.
-I'm tired of the average-feel of the team, all the way around.
-I'm tired of rehashing all of this. :-X

you have no idea the rage that play brought up in me...i usually cheer, or say stuff to my friends, i rarely do the yell at the field thing because i think it looks rather silly. but that play led me to lose self control for about 30 seconds.

Trust me. The people I watched the game with will tell you I have a pretty good idea. Mrs. Feva actually took notice that I reacted less to the GW TD he gave up than what he did on that play.
good...

i said after the game that in a minute and a half it went from the worst win ever to the worst loss

He said the whole team is bad right now, not just McNabb. Said the same thing over on EMB.
He's an idiot. And the whole team isn't bad right now. The defensive line and secondary are playing pretty damn well all things considered. Really, this defense is the only bright spot on the team.
he is an idiot....anyone can say the whole team is bad now...no shtein dummy...but on wip he clearly went out of his way to single out mcnabb...in fact it was the only individual he singled out...the rest was the generic "the whole team is not playing well right now"
I'd like to nominate the phrase "Sean Considine - STRONG Safety" to the full-blown AIDS party.
He's anything but strong. In fact, he plays like a high school safety out there. He has no business starting for this team under any circumstances.
That said, I have no doubt the Eagles will sign him to a contract extension. None whatsoever.
why can anyone and everyone who saw considine play at iowa know that at best he was never gonna be anything more than a special teamer in the nfl...yet the eagles couldnt
its so unbelievable frustrating
Saw this on the EMB and got a chuckle out of it:

im tried of Dawkins being injured. seeing him on the sidelines leading the fight song is freakin depressing. i hope he suits up soon. i luv me some dawkins right about now.
Can Dawkins play WR? He's got to be better than Reggie Brown.
minor note, but the eagles havent returned a kick for a td since bbitch did it against the niners. they have a horrible combination of talentless returners and piss-poor blocking. die andy reid, die.
After this weekend, we'll all be tired of Andy Reid's over-propensity to call pass plays against defenses that are perceived to be much stronger against the run.
Is there any question he goes absolutely pass-wacky bonkers? 70% minimum.
I'm tired of knowing that when the announcer said, 'they now have 97 yards to go' that the Bears were undoubtedly going to score. He could have said 200 yards and it still would have happened.

raise of hands of who thought that exact same thing yesterday. i sure did.
i honestly thought there was no way they were giving up a score there...until they got to midfield then i would have bet my house on it
