week 2 - skins @ eagles- win
week 3 - det @ eagles - win
week 4 - eagles @ nyg - loss
week 5 - eagles @ nyj - win
week 6 - bears at eagles - ??

3-2

earlier in the week i was leaning chicago....now im on the eagles...i think being back home helps the birds put up some points....bears d has given up 71 in the last two games...dont know that the eagles will go 30+....but they will score more than last week and more than the bears can score...eagles td it up on their opening drive en route to an easy 27-13 win

3-2

The Eagles are getting too many people back healthy now to lose to a pathetic Bears team, right?

Still, I have a bad, bad feeling about this game.

I think Philly D will stifle the Bears O.  I don't see the Bears doing much on the ground unless they give Peterson the ball a lot..he's better than Benson who won't do shtein.  The recievers might get a long ball or PI call but that's it.  Olsen could be too fast for Gocong, which might be a problem.  But generally I don't think Philly D has much to sweat for this one.

The offense on the other hand is destined to shtein the bed.

I've picked the Eagles every week, so my record matches the teams - 2-3

I'm going with the Eagles again this week, reluctantly.  This is another toss-up game against an extremely weak opponent.

Eagles top the Bears with 2 4thQ FGs from Akers and the Red Zone play calling sucks once again.

This game has "field goal fest" written all over it. The Bears' D comes out pissed off, the Eagles O comes out confused. It winds up being close, but I think the Eagles pull it out.

This will be another sloppy game between two mediocre teams. Eagles will again move the ball but struggle in the Redzone. Hester takes at least one back and probably early keeping this game closer than need be. In the end the Birds pull it out because right now the Bears are just worse. Lito gets a pick

My prediction is that one of these two teams will have an ENORMOUS offensive day while the other will struggle to even move the ball. I'm calling blowout. The problem is that it could happen for either team and I wouldn't be surprised.

2-3 heading in.

The Eagles' D is playing better than theirs right now... and I like the Eagles offense better too.  Now wether that translates into a W on sunday is anybody's guess.

All I know is that every time Hester gets the ball in his hands (because we all know Rory ain't smart enough to kick away from him), I won't be able to breathe until they get his ass to the ground.

After getting 6 catches last week, Reggie Brown instructs his mom to give D-Mac a ball wash, hoping it gets him a few more looks from the immobile one.

Curtis Blow, 2 TD's, Reggie Brown 1 TD, Westbrook, 2 TDs (1 rush, 1 Rec)

Big game from Bunkley and Kearse!

Eagles win 24

Bears lose  17

If we can stop their running game, which isn't much, we have to force Greaseboy to make plays. This is almost a beautiful situation for the Eagles D. Now if only the offense shows up this week I think the Eagles take this game. Da Bears are struggling a lot and have less threats on offense than we do. Unless the Chicago D and special teams puts up puts up 14 we def. take this game.

Birds - 31
Bears - 27

Hester gets another TD. Someone on the D scores. Muhammed scores. 2 FG's.

McNabb gets 2TD for 250. Westy gets 1 for 130. Curtis scores 2 TD's. Westbrook nabs a passing TD also. Akers goes 1-1

Sloppy fargfest just like last week.  Peterson was able to run forever behind an inferior OL.  Westbrook would too, if the fat farg would actually run.  But we won't so......
12-6 Birds.

Oh, and I'm 1-4 (Jets)

I've only made predictions for 5 games and none of them have included a pick for one team or the other to win. My prediction this week was off and my prediction against the Lions was off. I'm 3-2-1.

Just put me down to predict the Eagles to lose every game remaining. Even the Dolphins.

Ha.  Can you imagine what the spread will be on the Patriots game?  That may be the worst loss since the Denver game in '98.
