Jets up 7-0 against the Jints.
Fins up 10-7 on the Texans. Trent Green got crushed and left with a concussion.
Pats up 10-0 on the Browns. Stallworth caught his first td of the year.
Rams up 10-3 on the Cards.
Atl and Ten tied at 7.
Skins 7, Lions 0.

Trent Green carted off the field on a strecther.
Two years in a row. Maybe time to hang 'em up.
I originally thought that he got blown up on a busted play but he was trying to throw a block and went to take out a d lineman and took a knee to the side of his head. No word on how serious it is but it didn't appear to be anywhere near as bad as last year. But still, he's old and his brain has been bruised a few times. Time to take the money and run.
Rod Hood picked off Gus Frerotte and ran it back 68 yards for a TD. Hey, but at least the Eagles have William James!
Larry Johnson Watch:
9 carries for 12 yards
5 receptions for 3 yards
(http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l108/QBEagles/lose.gif)
Kris Brown tied an NFL record with three field goals over 50 yards, including a 57-yard game-winner. Brown also struck from 43 and 20 yards.
Good times for my fantasy team: Bulger, Harrison, Addai, McAllister (season) and Heap all out this week. Yea that's like my first five picks or something. Really good luck.
Replacements haven't been that bad. Schaub did okay but didnt get a TD, Kandon Keith already has a TD, Sammy Morris is a beast, Donald Lee yet to play and good old Roddy White stunk up the joint.
The Eagles are now the only team with a losing record in the NFC East.
If the Eagles win next week against the Jets, and the rest of the NFC East loses, the Eagles will still be alone in last place.

Motherfarger. My WRs this week are Harrison, Coles, Boldin and my backup Isaac Bruce.
shteinbagged.
Miami, St. Louis and New Orleans are still winless
rod hood and clinton hart with big days
Tampa lost Pittman today which leaves them with like, 1 runningback on their roster. I bet the Eagles could get like infinity draft picks from them for Reno Mahe.

Al Michaels is farging terrible...he's always making references to other sports that Madden doesn't care about and/or get because he only cares about football and Michaels is always over explaining and over dramatizing things are inconsequential to the game. overall NBC's quality of broadcast is pretty farging terrible. Keith Olberman is trying to recapture the past on their 7pm show and he's cringe inducing.
on top of that michaels is a right wing lunatic
so is everyone in professional sports. they all make a shteinload of money, of course they are repubs.
At least Favre is deserving of the praise he's getting this year. Other than week 1 against the Eagles, he's been playing like Favre of 5 or 6 years ago.
i really want Al Michaels to have a stroke on air
Favre ties another NFL record (most INTs)

So I went to the Rams - Cards game yesterday. A guy at work hooked us up with free tickets and a free tailagte. Sweet, even if it was the Rams - AZ.
So, here's what I saw:
46 people wearing their Rams jerseys tucked into their khaki shorts
the stadium was only 2/3 full at the start of the game.
At 8:30 left in the game, it was less than half full, even though the Rams had a shot
People complaining about the refs betting on games, and knowing that the cards had to beat the spread, which was 3 (the Cards won by exactly 3, meaning it was a push)
The halftime thing was a breast cancer awareness thing, and a huge banner came out on the field that said "Real Men Wear Pink" - and it was carroed by about 800 people.... all wearing green shirts, thanks to the sponsor (National City) who's colors are green and white.
At least it was an entertaining game....
You do realize that the Phils won exactly as many playoffs games as the Mets did, dont you Sass?

Does that actually make it easier on you?
Keep in mind this is the team the Mets proved incapable of beating, both head-to-head and in the standings. How bad do the Mets have to suck to be even worse than the Phillies?
Easier? Not at all.
But, do I think its funny that after everyone got so pumped up about the Phillies they got swept? You're goddamn right I do. And the "We ran into a team that just wouldnt lose excuse" makes it even funnier. Not as funny as the bug excuse being used by Yankee fans, but funny nonetheless.
But my initial point remains the same - no one cares about your damn fantasy football team.
Who's made an excuse? I'm just glad this collection of bums outplayed your collection of douchebags and got to the playoffs. Anything after that would have been gravy.
And, I'll be sure to send you fantasy updates by IM from now on. To catch you up, my team includes #1 players at each position that have been colossally underachieving thus far this year in Philip Rivers, Larry Johnson, and Marvin Harrison. And yet, I have advanced to 3-2 and play the 1st place team next week without his top two RB's and WR, all out on bye. So, despite the fact my team is awful, I am staring 4-2 in the face somehow. Oh, and your boy Brian Leonard did me a solid and hooked me up with 13 points yesterday.
I think it goes without saying that if I were a Mets fan, my team would look great on paper but be last in the standings.

hahahahahahahahaha. Romo is getting OWNED!
Romo sucking, Yanks losing....awesome.
Maybe Romo should stick to holding for field goals. :-D
farg dallas, farg romo, farg to, farg that whole damn team. keep it up buffalo!
romo = rex grossman
By the way, the Bills came into the game as the worst defense in the NFL.
Romo!!!
:-D :-D :-D :-D
Four interceptions vs. Buffalo . This is sweet.
This was predictable going off last seasons meltdown after his first 4 or 5 starts. farg him and farg Dallas.
Buffalo's offense can't score TDs against Dallas' defense, so it looks like Buffalo's defense and special teams are picking up the slack.

Yep. Anyone who has the Buf Def/St on their fantasy squad is racking up points galore tonight. Too bad no body in their right mind would have Buffalo's defense on their fantasy squad. Except for Buffalo's super homer equivalent to PG.
Romo fumbles. Bills recover. Skeet skeet skeet!

Thats funny on two accounts:
1. The verbal spat it ensued
2. You're right
farg. get ready, this is what kolb is gonna look like when his ass is thrown in there...
Reid must be calling the plays from home. Why else would you throw the ball in that situation when you have a rookie QB, are in FG range and up by 8?
Game on the line and Romo throws his 5th pick! bwhahahahahaha! farg dallas.
bwhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah X 1,000,000.
five interceptions...ha
bwahahahahahahahahaha.

As much as I'm enjoying this, I really wish Romo would save a few picks for the Eagles game.
mmkay. going to bed now.
zzzzzz
Both the Yankee and Cowboy games are fixin to end around the exact same time....this could be the single greatest moment of my life.
:-D
A-Rod has a chance of being the last batter of the game...
On please lord...
If Dallas scores and converts the 2pt I'll explode.
OWNED!
hahahaha farg YOU TO!!!!
TO has the ball taken away on the 2pt try in the endzone and my penis just exploded. And not in a good way.
You gotta be farging kidding me.
You gotta be kidding me.
Nick Folk?
Folk is money, too. I got a bad feeling about this. Best hope is for Romo to be picked off again.
Drop.
TO catch in FG range + spike with 1 second left :boom :boom :boom :boom
EDIT: review before the spike
Clearly an incomplete pass.
Get with the program Easy.
Ruled incomplete
2/10, :13 left
60-yder with :07 ???
52-yder with :02 left

So, how much do the Patriots beat them by?
irvin goin nuts was awesome
The Bills would have been better off to let Owens grab the 2-pointer.
That loss is so crushing for the Bills that I can't imagine them having a game that good the rest of the season.
yea that was brutal. sucks to be a bills fan, god damn.
is there a worse fantasy player ever than lee evans this year...in five games he has less than 20 total pts in my money league
Steven Jackson and Larry Johnson are causing quite a bit of damage in my touchdown-only money league.
jackson has the injury excuse....lj has been really bad but still has almost three times as many pts as evans

You were partially right, but that was ridiculously awful judgment regardless. Losman + Jauron is somehow sweeping the nation as a more fruitful combo than Bulger + Linehan?
I really thought Losman and Evans were going to be a dynamic duo this season considering the way they ended last year.
why were the bills playing prevent defense with 7 seconds left when the whole world knew that dallas would just try a quick out pattern to gain a few more yards?

I'm not (although I was in spirit last night), but my brother is and last night was his birthday.
He had been telling me all week that the Bills would "shock the world until the last few minutes of the game".
