12 years ago today, Orenthal James Simpson was acquitted by a jury of his peers in the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman.
Anyone have an update on his search for the real killer?

I'm just glad it's finally Rocktober!!
QuoteThere was a regular-season game nicknamed for Simpson; it was the "O.J. Bowl", between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Pittsburgh Steelers, because it was thought the loser would get the first crack at drafting him. The Eagles won that game 12-0 (on 4 field goals by Sam Baker); but it turned out that neither of those teams drafted him.
Simpson was drafted by the AFL's Buffalo Bills, who got first pick in the 1969 draft after finishing 1-12-1 in 1968.
Wow, I did not know that! GET O.J.!
That's the snowball/santa game.

They brought that up in the segment about the Eagles on the Top 10 worst teams show they did on NFL network. Basically talked about how fans started getting excited towards the end of the season because the Eagles were basically a lock to get the first pick and draft OJ. Then they went on a mini winning streak at the end of the year and blew it. I didn't mention it in that thread though because I'm pretty sure it's mostly common knowledge among Eagles fans.
Of course, it makes no matter to me that the Eagles didn't draft him. I wasn't around when it happened and I never would have seen him play first hand so it's not like I'd have all these great memories of him with the Eagles. Plus, given the way his life has been for the last 12 years, I'd rather not have him associated with the team anyway.
I think it goes without saying that the events of his life would have been much different if he'd played in Philly instead of Buffalo. Would he have turned out any better a person? Probably not... but he wouldn't specifically have killed those people at that time.
He probably would have killed someone much sooner... and maybe not been able to afford the fancy attorneys to get himself acquitted.
He would have been a bust if Philly had drafted him.
yeah i was gonna say he would have killed the eagles
What if these events led to him being beloved in Philadelphia, moving up the coaching ranks in college and then the pros, and coming back "home" to coach the Eagles to a Super Bowl win?
I'd be ok with that alternate route of the universe, as long as he still pit-stopped to play Nordberg in "Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad". Never-ending hilarity! Remember at the end when Leslie Nielsen pushed him down a flight of stairs at the ballpark in a wheelchair?!? LAUGHS!
The bitch had it coming and so did the little manwhore she was farging.
im not glad they died but after listening to denise simpson and fred goldman whine for the last 12 years ive found myself becoming happy that oj got away with it
those two are easily top 5 most annoying people ever
I have to agree. Not only that, but Goldman is so persistent about collecting money from O.J. that you'd have to think he'd take the money over getting his son back if he had the choice.
haha, stupid OJ gets away with murder and you complain about the victims families "whining" about it...awesome
whine in your own home...theyve given like 1000 press conferences and interviews where they scream and cry and go on incessantly...it was friggin out of control...people die everyday whose families dont get any attention and dont say shtein...
no one cares about your coke sniffing whore of a sister or your hack wanna be actor son...they arent any more important than the next person
granted they have the right to speak out but i have the right to say how stab your eye out annoying they are
the funniest was when goldman used to not call oj by name...he would always say "the person whose name i wont use"...lol...he wont use his name but hell go on tv every five minutes and scream and bitch about him
The world would be better off without that money-grubbing porn mustache-wearing shteinbag.

OJ going to another trial (http://apnews.myway.com/article/20071115/D8SU1KUG0.html)

Ha!
I hope he beats the rap again.
O.J. rules.
Making a mockery of our legal system is rather hilarious. This country is so farged right now.
Yes, I'm tying OJ's trials to the downfall of our society. Cram it.
