28-13 skins

portis and betts are gonna run all over the birds...remember the pathetic run d and linebackers...they kinda got overshawdowed against a pathetic green bay team and the punt drop follies
its all gonna come to a head this week...look for gashing run plays cooley running wild against gocong and a screen pass fesitval
beermonk and shorebird get your wallets warm
lol @ bm giving me 7
sucka
:-D
You're crazy... and if you hadn't already reached your "limit", I'd have taken $20 from you too.
The Skins sorry D-line won't even sniff McNabb the majority of the day.
27-10 Eagles.
Eagles 24
Skins 13
Here I am!
I've been reading a lot about Cooley since I have him on a couple of fantasy teams, and the consensus is that he isn't going to be involved in the passing game much, he wasn't against the Phins, because Jansen is out. I believe they have either Wade or an UDFA starting at tackle. So against Killa or Kearse, they'll keep the TE into block.
I figure the Eagles sell out to stop the run, and make Campbell beat them.
He doesn't.
Birds 24
Racists: 13
Eagles - 27
IGY's - 13
I tried to get in on the action too with IGY, but that's cool. Maybe next game.
IGY must have been sipping on his White Wine Spritzers already to make that sort of silly prediction.
Eagles: 24
Palefaces: 16
BTW: The forecast for Monday is Sunny, 73 degrees for a high and 51 degrees for a low. Should be about 60 degrees at kickoff. In other words, absolutely perfect.
8)
Everyone thought they'd win the Green Bay game, too.
I'm picking the Eagles to win, but I'm not exactly brimming with confidence.
Eagles 17
taterskins 14
Eagles don't drop thier first two games....
Eagles 27
Skins 10

The Eagles are better than the Skins. Whether they get their head out of their ass and prove it remains to be seen.
lol so even when the eagles lose they still are the bestest
You're right. Even though I admitted that they definitely have a lot of work, they're still the best.
Enough with your bullshtein igy. The Skins are horrible. The Eagles aren't.
I'm actually of the opinion that the Skins aren't horrible. My worries about this week have less to do with 'the Eagles farging up' and more to do with the fact that I think the Skins are going to be greatly improved this year.
They'll be slightly improved, they really did have no where to go but up. They really improved the other safety opposite of Taylor and Jason Campbell is going to be really good. The right side of their OL is going to be awful without Jansen and they still have only 1 good defensive lineman. If the Eagles actually run the ball when the situation calls for it then they'll win. Then again, we say that every week and it never happens..
Personally, I think that the Eagles are starting on the downslide. That "window of opportunity" that's been debated over the past few years is definitely shut.
And, yes, the taterskins are improved. They may indeed be better than the Eagles this year.
Again, I picked the Eagles to win, but it would not surprise me at all for the Eagles to lose.
if cambell is even a competant qb this year then the skins are a better team than the eagles and probably will win the division...skins might not have the depth of some teams but they have top end talent at multiple positions on both sides of the ball...something the eagles dont have outside of westbrook (and with mcnabb hurt)...its really disheartining how much the birds talent base has fallen off in the last few years...but when you continually miss on player after player both in the draft and FA thats what happens...and like i mentioned in another thread the one advantage theyve always had in the nfce and the nfc was mcnabb...and now they have lost that
Huh? I'd give the division to the Cowgirls on paper before I'd give it to the Skins.

The Skins were taken into OT against a team that was 6-10 last season with a new QB who also missed the last half of last season. If the Eagles do lose this game its because they flat out stink not because the Skins are any better.

skins have a better team than dallas imo...dont get me wrong i dont think any of these teams are that good...but i give a slight advantage to the skins because i think their defense is not great but much better than people think and the best in the division

You better cover up, your Hogs tattoo is showing.
The Jansen injury is a legit point and with him out Campbell is unlikely to be as good. But make no mistake, this year's taterskins team should be a whole lot better than last year's team.
That's a good example of setting the bar quite low.
Still...
Eagles 19
skins 21
I guarantee Reid, McNabb, and company walked around all week thinking the team will be "fine" as long as they can catch a punt. To make this more hilarious, Reno will fumble one.
Eagles - 24
taterskins - 16

Your one sick bitch. That ain't even funny.
I'm praying that we don't blow this game with a fumble from the special teams. Please. Last week was bad enough.
Not against the farging taterskins.
If they aren't going to come close this year I want the Eagles to go in full rebuilding mode. If they don't win in 07 or 08 (which isn't likely), they won't for a long time.
30-13 eagles

Please tell me how you came up with your assumption...based off of what? The Miami game?

Not true. Two years ago I said I thought they'd be better and they were. Last year I had no idea how things would go because I figured that Campbell would eventually be the starter and struggle.

Campbell is an accurate passer with a history of winning at every level who was given time to sit and learn.
Take a look at other young quarterbacks who were given time on the bench to learn, are accurate and have a history of leading teams to wins in college and you'll see why I think Campbell is going to be good.
In fact ColdHardFootballFacts has done some sort of write up about indicators of success in the NFL for QBs and he fulfills all of them. I'm trying to find it right now...

five more and hell match the numbers of years youve been calling andy reid a good coach
Your point?
chances are i dont have one
:-D
Given Andy's opening day record, I don't think we can draw any conclusions from last week. None.
Monday will be a much better indicator of how good this team is. If they don't trounce the taterskins, it will be a very long season.

Munson, is that you?
if the skins werent so pathetic my score would have been right on point...either way my pockets got fat tonight and we are one game closer to the andy reid era being over
I'll give credit where its due. btw dook, tried finding you and Sun but I guess you two were too low key to locate. Had no problem finding #31 crazy man.
#31 crazy man.
die hard?
Of course. He was puking by 6.
i dont know how he got seperated from his tailgate but he ended up dolo at my tailgate right before we went in...he was en farging fuego
did you hear they tailgated with the magician's brother? that was the highlight of the night.
If the Eagles had scored the TD but missed the 2-pointer, my 21-19 prediction would have been scary close to a 20-18 final score.
However, McNabb was so shocked to see Kevin "White Lightning" Curtis open on 3rd down that he missed him completely.
Still, I deserve a lot of credit for seeing this coming. Me and IGY both actually.
