What the farg. A dude who can't feel his foot was signed to replace a professional skier. It sure is fun being an Eagles fan.

And an electrical engineer at Linebacker!

Oh, and a hyper-sensitive comedian at quarterback.

i'm pretty sure they are working on bringing in a librarian to play safety

edit:  and that would be fine, because i'm sure she'd hit harder than Considine

I heard they were scouting a podiatrist to play DT since Scott has a booboo.

Probably Paschal.

It was a nice run for him, indeed.

Reed is doing kicks and G-Lew(foots) punts according to the Eagles main site.

It's a hell of a lot safer then putting the knee-less wonder Buckhalter back there are kick returns.

Well, when you put it that way.....

OR, you could actually prepare for the season by getting decent players.  You know, ahead of time.
I hear Bethel Johnson's available....

farging Kotite with facial hair.

I don't know - put them both deep for kicks and you get a whole leg between them.

This is just farging bizarre... what the hell are they trying to assemble a team of gimps?

The thing about Reed is that before the injury he could have easily been the next FS after Dawkins. Nobody knows how he was last year and this preseason because I doubt anyone here paid that close attention to him but we have to hope for the best.

Here's a shocker...I like this move. A lot.

I thought he was good enough last year to make it. He looked good in camp. And he can still run.

Or course not.  I mean, after all, we did cut Trotter.

At the rate they're going he'll be re-signed tomorrow when they cut Gaither.

Gotta feel bad for Paschal & Jordan... they get told they made the team only for them to go "haha fooled you" and cut them a couple of days later.

Sure why not. The blocking probably sucks, but it beats Buckhalter and his Bill Walton knees.

I was thinking Matt Geiger knees.

Well I guess it's time to put JR Reed on the Eagles in madden.  Why the heck is Bethel Johnson on the team when he was cut in like June...

Well I was watching just a little bit of the Giants mop up duty in the last preseason game and Reed made a spectacular play where he ranged over to the sideline and made a one handed interception.  Beautiful play.  Hopefully he can keep moving forward and make those kind of plays for the Birds.

Video of JR Reeds INT.  Looks pretty fast and agile there.  He's #3 or 4 (http://www.nfl.com/videos?videoId=09000d5d801e912c)
