No, but if he doesn't sign elsewhere, the Eagles can re-sign him before he hits the open market next season.
I know something made Alan Branch's stock slip (hairline fracture in leg?)...but...if our stud DT's play <50%, why not draft a DT (we still draft DE's like crazy) instead of these all these "low rent" guys?
I like his name.
Maybe he'll take out someones knee like he did Palmer in the playoffs.
I thought Scott tweaked his knee. Are the Eagles hiding something more serious or is he just a pansy?
Kimo! Molokai boy!
If Ian Scott was done, then why not just cut him yesterday? I have a feeling they kept him just because they wanted to do some things different from Spuds' leaked roster cuts.
Well, not really, but something bizarre like that actually wouldn't surprise me.
you can't cut someone who is injured
Thats right.
i know
QuoteVon Oelhoffen, 36, was released by the Jets Saturday just one year after signing a three-year $9.2 million deal as a free agent. Previously, he had spent 12 seasons divided evenly with the Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers.
that's getting up there ???

with a name like, Kimo von Oelhoffen ..next thing you know, we'll sign Magnus von Magnerson. :-D
He's been an effective nose tackle. IF he can learn a 2 gap scheme and IF he has anything left in the tank.......

I have a feeling in my lower torso like I have to take a dump after reading that.

Imagine a defense with Branch as the 3rd DT and Pos at MIKE (could have been a possible)
Goddamn....I missed quite a bit today.
This move shocks me.
1. Because he's old.
2. Because he's a 3-4 guy.
3. Just because I like saying because

But then you'd have to imagine this offense WITHOUT Kevin Kolb.
