Title: iTunes / MP3 Tags
Post by: Father Demon on July 03, 2007, 12:34:11 PM
I recently was able to "borrow" a lot of songs for my iTunes, but now have a collection that is completely unmanageable and contains a ton of duplicates and songs/albums/genres I don't want to keep.

Anyone out there an expert in MP3 tags, and can recommend a good program that does the majority of the work automatically?

$1/song is a ton of money.  I agree you're much better off pirating your music.

Tags also enter all the info from the CD -- track number, genre, artist, etc.  All stuff that may or may not be available.

i had one called mp3tagger, tried it once but didn't seem much easier than renaming each one yourself.

now i just use oink instead of soulseek and everything is tagged perfectly every time.

Manually through Itunes because you can highlight a bunch at a time.

I don't think Demon can "just use oink."  Someone would have to invite him, and considering I can't get my ratio above a one, I can't do it.

just look for new cd's on mondays and tuesday that you think will be popular.  Then Seed them, your ratio will fly
