Speaking of AIDS jokes did anyone else read the Sarah Silverman interview in this month's Maxim?  She said the only time Comedy Central censored her was when she was planning on doing an AIDS joke on her show.

Apparently people with AIDS are out of bounds in terms of having jokes made at their expense.

Who knew?

Title: Re: sheep
Post by: ice grillin you on June 15, 2007, 02:46:22 PM
again it has nothing to do with what movie you think is best (ex. a few people here picked the sixers for the best nba team)...its what you think is going to be picked...toy story makes sense cause it was so damn popular and its been out longer so more people saw it...a lot of people probably havent even seen cars so by default they didnt pick it

of course im good at figuring out all this stuff after the game
Title: Re: sheep
Post by: SunMo on June 15, 2007, 02:47:38 PM
it has everything to do with what i think is best, because if i think cars is the best, then i'm going to think that people like it more than others.  also it is the most recent, and i thought more fresh in people's minds.
Title: Re: sheep
Post by: ice grillin you on June 15, 2007, 02:57:38 PM
oh youre saying your like for something sways your personal answer...that could def be true...but what you think shoudlnt effect the way you perceive other people

i think the 82-83 sixers are the best nba team ever but theres no chance i would ever put them as an answer because just because i think that doesnt mean its going to be the popular answer

the new part i thought was a factor....now thinking about it its almost too new where not a lot of people have seen it...btwn the theater/dvd/hbo/usa network/cbs ect... i think way more people have seen toy story
Title: Re: sheep

proper?  ha.

best?  ha.

these are matters of taste.  if you like brown spirits (I don't), i'd say drink it neat, over rocks, or with a splash of good water.  it's a blend of 12 year olds, so it's good shtein.  not as good as older stuff, but still hella better than Red (3 years--you can see why Joey Namath loves it so much).  I wouldn't advise mixing with it based on expense..it would surely make good mixed drinks but farg that's an expensive way to wash down your scotch.

but really, someone else is probably a better ask

If you never had scotch before, I would mix it with a slice of lime and some club soda. I drink it this way even now on a hot day. I dont use the good stuff for that (meaning JW Green or Gold)

The problem is that JW black is blended shtein.

Buy real scotch.  Depending on taste (peat v. non-peat).  I prefer Oban and Lagavulin.  But you can't get anything other than shtein for less than $50 a bottle.

ha...give it another chance IGY, or just give me your JW Black bottle.  When i first started drinking JW i would pour the JW onto the rocks, put a splash of water, and a sliced lime that i crushed over it.  Thats the easy way to get used to the flavor of scotch.  Then you just work your way down to just JW on the rocks, then to the straight warm JW which is tough but delicious after the first taste.

284.  I sucked this round.  I have no idea about detectives, apparently didn't know what the natural wonders were, and underestimate American's desire to spend $40 to see a movie.

parents dont go out  buy glue and put it in the kids backpack do they?

Can't speak for anyone but our school district policy:

We can't require that parents buy anything.  We have a supply of paper and pencils that we can hand out during the course of the year.  Our "suggested" school supply list is things to "enhance" the child's education.

Below is what we have as our team's supply list (remember I'm in middle school - 8th Grade)

Student Supply List
-   One binder (math class)
-   20 three-prong paper folders (language arts, reading, social studies)
-   One 3-subject spiral notebook (science)
-   Notebook Paper (at least one ream to start)
-   Blue or black erasable pens (NO gels or different colored pens!)
-   Pencils
-   Colored pencils
-   Graphing paper (math)

The reasoning for all of the three-prong folders is that our school does not have lockers, and the students must bring all their materials in a backpack.  I use a folder for every unit I teach.  When we are done with that unit, the student can leave the notebook at home and begin a new folder.  We have a class set of all textbooks, so the student can leave those at home.

The naked question is misleading.  I've seen lots of people naked playing sports but the first thing I thought of was women I've seen naked and that's the answer I gave without thinking.

The naked question is pretty straight forward I think. The truth is that 100s of people have probably seen me naked. Or at least seen the important parts of my body that would qualify. But obviously that won't be a common answer.

There are some retarded farging responders in that group.

A couple of head scratchers...

First - Eddie Murphy?  Hahaha.  He sucked doing stand-up.  And how is Diceman not in there anywhere?  I voted for Kinison and only because I didn't think Bill Hicks would get a wink.  But no Diceman?  Ridiculous.

Second - Sports Illustrated isn't a monthly magazine.  Neither is Rolling Stone.  Hell - most of those magazines aren't monthly.  Stoopid.

Third - Almost as many people responded "cello" as did for Bass & Harp.  It's true I reached with piano but cello??  Haha.  Romes.

Finally - which brain fart responded "The Firm?"  Seriously - end that motherfarger whoever he is.

(Actually 3 people said 'meat' so I'm gonna count that.)

can some of you who are bored help me out with these answers....a new season starts tomorrow on my other board...the more answers i get the more likely i can come up with the winners....maybe btwn everyone on this board my entry can finish in the top ten this year....the rules and questions are below

Welcome to the SHEEP CUP - WEEK 1!

There will be weekly Sheep from now until the end of summer.  The first 12 games are regular season (with one friendly thrown in on the 4th of July).  After that comes the post season, but we'll cross that bridge a bit later.  For now, just enjoy Week 1!

You know the rules.  Below are 12 questions.  If you want to play, PM me the most popular answer to the questions by Friday at 1.  The answer that you think will get the most votes not the answer you think is right.  The vote is not your opinion its what you think will be the most popular answer.  Just like Family Feud.

Note: please do not repost the questions in your PM.  Just a list of the answers is all I need.  If I have any questions or am unclear about something, I'll shoot you back a PM.

Enjoy, be safe, and no talking about the questions before the reveal.  If you have a question, please PM me.  If it is something that needs to be clarified, I will put it in the thread and edit this post.

Without any further ado...
SHEEP!!!!!

some good answers by everyone but to good in that theres like five questions that could take any one of three or four different answers

what im going with so far

1. psycho

2. im leaning BOA but have no idea

3. clinton

4.  i personally would go with white album but i think abbey road and sgt peppers are equally good albums...anyone got any tiebreaker suggestions?

5.

6. medium seems the way to go

7. i like hall of fame but again not sure

8. sb

9. ice cream seems liek the answer but what about frozen dinners

10. racheal ray

11. 7 is the real answer but is it the correct answer....i feel like its a werid number and most people are gonna put 8 because its the standard

12. ham seems to be the runaway winner here
