Moral dilemma for the masses:
A wallet is found in the woods, containing $16 in cash, 2 credit cards, a driver's license, and a parole card. The guy served a 7 year sentence for 2nd degree burglary, and is now on parole (thanks, Google). He is also Muslim (Abdul Hussein, but has several different aliases). Recently, a terrorist cell was broken up in the town where the wallet has been found, and there have been specific threats against a "leading news agency" technology center located near the wallet. The person that found the wallet works in said tech center.
The question. Should he:
a) call the guy, and give him everything back
b) call the guy, and give him his wallet less the cash
c) keep the cash and toss the wallet
d) call the cops, and turn it in and let them deal with it
Call him, and arrange a place to give him back his property.
When he arrives, beat him unmercifully with a tire iron.
Go home.
Buy 16 dollars worth of lottery tickets with the cash. Spend all the available dough on the credit cards buying shtein that will raise red flags on terrorist watch lists. Then rape a hooker and leave the license & parole card at the scene of the crime.
e. bomb the middle east into a sheet of glass
Run cuz now there is a Jihad on yo ass!
i bet one of his aliases is aneed apupi.
All very informative input and ideas.
Take the money, call Jack Bauer

Chuck Norris would beat Jack Bauer to death with his left pinky.
Or with that extra fist he has under his beard.
Crafty farger.
The correct answer is D.
Even a moneylover like myself (and I do love me some money, dammit) knows that $16 isn't enough to bother stealing.
D man, if all the above is correct than yes, take it to the police ASAP
A combo of C and D. Keep the money then call the cops.
I've recommended D to him. No reason to steal, and I wouldn't want to deal with the felon muslim.
D. Easy.

I was on thesaurus.com a while ago and noticed this:
http://thesaurus.reference.com/browse/ethical
http://thesaurus.reference.com/browse/moral
Look at the first word that is used as a synonym for the words, "moral" and "ethical."
WTF?
I agree.. that is some kind of farged up.
Ha!
also on that same page:
Antonyms: atheistic, irreverent
I guess atheists can not be ethical?
There's a simple explanation for that. It's the capital letter. Any proper, or capitalized word comes before lowercase in any alphabetized list in the writing style used by the website.

Regardless of whether it's the first word listed or not, the fact that Christian is considered synonomous with ethical and moral is hilarious when you consider all of the damage, death and destruction that has taken place over the last 2000 years in the name of christianity.
and even more specifically, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, and other assorted religions were not included in the list.

Sorry...I don't care all that much.
of course you don't care...you're on the winning side so far, and don't think about anyone other than yourself
congrats on that
Well, the silver lining is that Jews, Muslims, Hindus etc weren't on the antonym list..... :paranoid
i'm proud to have been listed as an antonym to Christian
That shtein makes me sick. More people have died in the name of religion than any other 'cause' and somehow some anonymous and useless internet site says that being a christian is moral while being an atheist is immoral.
Wait, I just talked myself out of being sick. Hooray for teh internets!

The point was it didn't belong there at all.
