Title: Season Tickets eBay
Post by: Father Demon on March 07, 2007, 06:05:32 PM
ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/2-SEASON-PHILADELPHIA-EAGLES-TICKETS_W0QQitemZ220086418956QQihZ012QQcategoryZ16122QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

These aren't mine, and they don't belong to anyone I know.

That said, I'm not sure how much tickets are, but these seem to be good seats.  What do regular season tickets go for in this part of the stadium?

Dont buy season tix on eBay. I got burned a few years ago, before eBay had buyers protection. I lost $1800.

I think tix in that area are probably in the $70-80 range.   So even going high with $80 x 10 games = $800 x 2 tickets = $1600.  Even at $100 a ticket, it would still come out to only $2000 for the season and the current bid is already at 3 g's.  Also, check out this little tidbit:

QuoteTHIS IS SEASON TICKETS  2 PRE SEASON 8 REG SEASON  FIRST OPTION TO BUY PLAFOFF   1ST GAME 475.00  CHAMPION SHIP GAME  650.00  ANY QUESTIONS CALL ME 856-305-4300   ALSO FIRST OPTION TWO BUY NEXT YEAR FOR THE SAME PRICE AS THIS YEAR  ALSO  IF YOU WANT I HAVE 4 TOGHTER IF YOU WIN THE BID YOU CAN PAY 1/2  NOW AND 1/2   IN JULY THANKS

The playoff ticket prices he's asking for seem extremely high.  Maybe a season ticket holder can shed light on that but they seem outrageous.  IGY was offering me a playoff ticket for like $150/$200 I believe.  Add in the fact that they don't become "your" season tickets because you'd have to buy them from this guy again next year makes me think it's not worth it.

I don't mind buying single game tickets off ebay if I have to (although my preferred method is mooching off of 61 and 64 :) ).  But if I'm buying season tickets then I will only buy them directly from the team or from someone who is actually giving them up and I will be able to purchase them at face value every single year.

Yeah, I know they are high ($150 a seat if my math isn't failing me), but was wondering how they compare.  This dude is just a scalper embracing technology.

Die Hard -- OUCH.  That sucks....

I'd say that $150 for a single game ticket in that section is probably getting it on the cheap if you're going through ebay or another form of online scalper for it.  At the very least, it's ballpark accurate.
