As high priest, I call upon you to pray to the Football Gods and have them bless the Eagles and us fans with a successfull off-season, minimal to no injuries and putting us on track to getting back to the big game so we can win it. Show the gods your appreciation...and our dreams will manifest*.
All though it has been a less than exciting offseason...we're coming off a season where we can progress and build on for next season. So far, we're all praying for Donte to stay, to sign, for the FO to sign him. We've all been praying to each other, praying to the internet message boards....even praying to that Christian God (who has no pull in these matters by the way)...but I beseech you to pray...pray to the Football Gods...for it is they who control our destiny. It is in your hands!

Reguardless of how the second season turned out, the first one with TO was a Superbowl appearance, and probably would have been a win if he had not have gotten' hurt.

even in hindsight i dont know how anyone could possibly think getting TO was a mistake
farg TO. I knew from the minute I heard that they were trying to acquire him that he would be awful for the team. I rooted for him once he was an Eagle but his presense led to everyone (myself included) questioning McNabb's toughness and Reid's motivations, a wasted year of football, a team that refuses to do anything in free agency... bringing TO in farging sucked balls.
thats cause you care more about the players than the team....they had the single best and most enjoyable year in the history of the franchise...and probably my all time sporting event in the 04 nfc championship game

I loved the TO signing, we all hoped the guy had a bad rap in SF but he just proved he's a total ass. Either way, it was worth it, but they still ended up short of what we all really want

I didn't experience 'unbelievable joys' in 04. It was fun but I'm not interested in making it to a superbowl and losing. It would have been absolutely worth it if they had won a championship. But they didn't so it was just another season and the after effects have been enough to make it a bad deal. You obviously care more about one season where the Eagles didn't win a superbowl than you do about the team.
