Brodrick Bunkley.
He doesn't show up to camp on time to squeeze all the money he can out. He shows up out of shape, and he's completely useless for the season. Thus, the Eagles are forced to rely on Darwin Walker to start...
WITH HILARIOUS RESULTS.
farg Bunkley, McDougle, Matt McCoy, and all the other underachieving first/second round wastes of space.
But especially Bunkley.
I'm just happy that this team didn't draft Joseph Addai in the first round. Seriously. Happy.
I don't blame McDougle and McCoy because I don't think those guys were slackers, it's not McDougle's fault that the coaching staff wasted a 1st round pick on a guy that can't stay healthy and it's not McCoy's fault that the coaching staff wasted a 2nd round pick on a guy that has zero talent. Bunkley on the other hand can go drown himself in a vat of sulfuric acid.
It's sad that they would have been better off drafting your boy Kiwanuka or our PSU boy Tamba Hali.
Both were about 831,829,194,063,739,585 times better than Bunkley this year.
I'm so glad that the only draft pick who gave us ANY production whatsoever this year was the farging 5th-rounder.
Un farging believable.
Jesus, we had 2 rookies who had great years, a 5th round pick and an UDFA, the entire rest of our draft class had ZERO production.
Don't forget how awesome Hank Baskett is. He's definitely good.
Pretty much anyone whos said they couldn't compete. They did... a lot.
Anyone who disagrees can lick my keyboard.

I don't think anyone actually thought that.
Although if you're actually responding to this thread and speaking of Bunkley, you're right. He can't compete at an NFL level. He had precisely zero memorable plays this year. None. Even Rayburn and LaJuan Ramsey had a couple of impact plays or at least solo tackles.
Oh well. At least the Eagles got great value out of Winston Justice.
Bunkley was asked and expected to contribute. Justice was not.
Mad respeck to Omar Gaither.

I thought all PSU players are busts? :flipoff
Kiwanuka cost his team a first round home game possibly with that Vince Young play. Bunkley has that in his favor...

When did I say that? I'm a PSU alum. I wish them nothing but the best.
I will never waste a whole farging saturday in April watching an Eagles draft. Watching "projects" and offensive lineman being drafted is a real bore.
have to admit I thought Bunkley was the real deal. now its more like the real raw deal.
tonight is not the time for this
agreed. we all bounced back after the Tampa loss, the Carolina loss, the New England loss. Will this rank up there with those losses? probably not when all is said and done. I've had a few hours to calm down - at least the game ended at 6:00 PM HST. I couldn't have imagined going straight to bed after the game. What's fueling this is how it ended. Poor play calling on 2 and 1, the punt and the defense knowing exactly what was coming at them not being able to even make a dent. Maybe it would have been easier to swallow if we had blown out.
yes i am pissed, upset, furious. I will get over it. I've loved this team since 1971 and will continue to suppport them forever. Damm, I'm still cheering for the Sixers and Flyers.

I was joking, but you do always seem to assume that they all will suck. If I remember correctly you did think Hali would blow. But...given there recent track record I can't blame you.

If you remember correctly I was the one who said Bunkley wouldn't do shtein after missing half of training camp. It turned out I was right. I wish I hadn't been but he turned out to be one of the biggest disappointments of that clusterfarg of a season.

Well, Hali made his "living" in college with speed rushing. I still don't think he'll ever be anything special in the NFL, but he has proven he can at least adapt and make a few plays now and again.

And who knows how many games Bunkley cost us by being a lazy-ass and not being able to contribute to the DL rotation. Besides, while that was a bad play on Kiwanuka's part it wouldn't have happened had he not made a ridiculous play to break up a first-down pass the play before, and it's not like he single-handedly allowed the Titans to come back from 17 down in the 4th quarter--that was a team effort.
blah blah blah, all i hear is frustration for andy reids mistakes. don't take it out on the players. take it out on the coaches who don't put their players in positions to perform.
Uh, no. Reid makes stupid mistakes, but the players don't perform. Dropped passes, missed tackles, being blown back five yards, holding constantly, ...
