Can we launch Moats into the sun yet?
I just got off the phone with a buddy of mine (Saints fan) who I purposely haven't talked to all week. He talked a lot of shtein... I talked a lot of shtein. Pretty much screaming back and forth... not much being heard at all. Good times.
I'm ready to get this farging game going.
LET'S GO EAGLES!!

He'll be launched into the arena league soon, so we'll be Moats-free by summer.
Less than an hour :crazy
Thank God they're playing today. I don't think I could have taken another 24 hours of this.
BTW: Here's a great big "farg you" to all the "experts" who haven't given the Eagles a chance today. . .

QuoteThe Saints fans flashed a lot of No. 1 signs at the Eagles team buses as we arrived at the Superdome. Inside, it is still sleepy two hours before kickoff. Players are warming up, coaches are catching up with friends on the other team.
It's going to be loud, but I'm telling you, it makes a difference having been here before.
All in all, I have to tell you things are very normal. Things are very exciting. Things are very intense. You can't tell much about a team before the game, but if it means anything I think the Eagles are going to play a great team.
All eyes will be on running back Brian Westbrook on Saturday night
A scout from the Chicago Bears is here. He thinks the Eagles are going to win.
"You are a better team," he said. "Better talent. Better roster. I think that offensive line is the best the Eagles have had since I've been in the league."
Win behind the line. I like it.

Boners.
That was a 4 and out. Deuce got that first.
But as Gumbel would say on NFLN when someone has to punt:
"And the Saints will turn it over on downs" :boom
I neeeeeeeed a gif of that hit.
I like the start - if we can get a score will help take the crowd out
Here come the flags
it sounds loud there
Offense doesn't have the same tone set by the defense. :boo
Next series maybe go to the silent count
Jesus christ Hollis looks like he was sitting on his ass eating gumbo for the length of his suspension.
McNabb would have made that throw. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Jones on ST....that normal or more starters covering kicks
No way we get out alive with another 10 - 12 penalty game
Damn offense putting the defense in trouble again.
Hopefully they come through like last week.
Well we know what their game plan should be now :boom

FG Saints
Ugh. Better than TD. the Give the ball to Westbrook and try and establish a long drive. Let the O-line go out there and maul people.
On that long run by McAllister they had 8 or 9 guys up. That is really worrisome. Considine got trampled likea dung beetle under a steamroller

I'm happily surprised about that completion to Brown. The Saints D is playing with intensity. The Eagles need to calm those fargers down.

Either way, he had committed at that point and had to run the ball. Bad decision either way.
Garcia needs to settle down. He had the first on a scramble. Just sustain drives damnit!
Did they say that r. brown was ineligible downfield?
I don't like this - the whole team is out of sync and tight. they need to loosen up and start smacking someone again

Textbook "run into the guy's legs" tackle by Rod Hood

Great coverage by... Dhani Jones?!?!?!?
Gooch sounds drunk
Even with a running start, Considine barely pushed a WR back.
great d call
Go Reno, you magnificent bastich
Eagles are doing a good job converging on those screens and short passes. That was my main defensive concern coming into this game.
The offense is going to have to show some signs of life soon though or the Bird D will be getting tired quickly against that rested Saints O.
LJ looked lost
DO SOMETHING ON OFFENSE, DOUCHES!
Garcia has been making poor decisions and the running game is terrible. :boo
RUN THE BALL!!
Joselio Hanson with some nice coverage.

I'm calling it right now:
They hold them to a FG or less here, they win the game.

To be fair, McNabb has had playoff games where he looks equally bad. The whole offense just doesn't seem prepared for what the Saints are throwing at them so far. Hopefully they'll find some cracks in the armor soon.
FGs by them can only help us. Hang in there, wear them down, and slow them down and we can take this with a break or two.
Pound the damn ball pound it, Hollis (still love ya big guy) is gassed already, pound it and open up the passing game. Damn you Andy do it.
as pathetic as it sounds, I'll take down 6 -0 now. Need a good return and field pos. - GET the running game going.

You wear down the other team by sustaining long offensive drives. Not by having the other team sustain long offensive drives.
Not a huge fan of Hood returning kicks for the first time... this season? Asking for a fumble.
Either way, I stand by my prediction - keeping them out of the end zone there was HUGE.
Did our o-line miss the game because they were with Bunkley picking up chicken for the team?

Garcia's been going to Stallworth more in this game than I ever remember. Wonder if there's more than coincidence to that given the team they are playing against.

But we can't continually rely on the big play. We need to wear this team out and limit possessions.

I'd love to see some evidence that the Eagles can sustain an actual drive before halftime.
Wrong time for the defense to revert to the one that played the Colts.
I'm on pace to drink a case and a half if this keeps up...

Friggin' Sheldon -- he can light someone up every once in a while but can't make a fundamental tackle on Colston.

Reggie Brown was waaaaaaay open there.
Brown almost broke that dudes anke on the juke
Ooooo 2nd and 10, here comes a stuffed run!
That DB has no pants on...
nice roll! WCO
Baskett will never be a WR in the NFL
The receivers are getting major separation. Garcia smells blood in the water back there.
Their taking away the run so it's going to be bombs away...
Baskett sucks!
Andy Reid must be having orgasms tonight.
They are showing heart!
WOW, I am impressed.
Now the D has to step it up
The Saints secondary blows. They need to exploit that. Reggie and Donte look pumped and focused. Feed them the ball all day.
Get some points here and don't give the Saints offense any time to do anything, and I'll be content with the half.
Garcia's in the zone now, farg it let's get 7 while we can.
Hey, Garcia managed to not throw the ball beyond the line of scrimmage! :D
Give garcia a valium and all is good
How does Westbrook drop that?!?! :boom
that was td - second time westy dropped
Cut Westbrook!
Get that fat farg Nick Cole out there and bang this sucker in.
I took another shot of Whiskey after WB dropped that
Screw the field goal. Get fatboy Cole and run it twice if necessary.
If Andy throws here, I'm heading to New Orleans to kick his ass myself.
Nick Cole and that special package hasn't worked all year.
if they get stuffed here do the Eagles go for it on 4th?
They NEED a TD. A TD plus the ball back after half is HUGE.
Up and over for the TD!
TOUCHDOWN EAGLES! WESTBROOK!!
I guess that makes up for the drop. 73 yards trough the air...
NICE .......I'll take that going into half ;D
Much more time than I'd like still on the clock. An F-you turnover would be nice during this series.
MAD HOPS!
The Eagles have played like complete shtein all half and the Saints were clicking on all cylinders and the Eagles look to be going into the half 14-13.
Stop them here. No cheap points!
Nice. Took a shot when he dropped it. Took a shot when he scored. You da man.
Can the D hold them for 44 seconds.
Can this porous defense stop the Saints for 44 seconds?
Why did they call a timeout with that much time? The Defense better step up.
Nice sack by Thomas and Cole.
YES!
SSSSSSSSSsack!!
YES! YES!!
D stepping up. Lazy Walker with the tackle

Barber with a leg injury?? :-\
it's the dude, william james they said
The play is being reviewed and the Saints are still on the field. Barber is the Eagle down.
I'll take 14 -13
Barber got in too cleanly on that punt. He could have friggin' tackled the punter, but it wasn't his fault he got is so cleanly. That was a heady play by the punter.
That Hail Mary at the end was WAY WAY WAY WAY TOO CLOSE!
Need better coverage than that. Colston had the TD, but whoever the DB was just ripped it out of his hands.
that was incomplete, if they give it to them, crank up the conspiracy. :paranoid
Quote from: QB Eagles on January 13, 2007, 09:41:16 PM
Whew. Who's the Eagle on the ground?
Barber.
Eagles need to run more. They haven't done a toss play all day. The DBs have been average. Gaither got burned on the rollout to the TE. Fred Thomas has gotten roasted, they need to go after him more. On the 3rd and 8 that was like a 25 yard pass to Baskett, Thomas gave Stallworth like a 12 yard cushion.
14-13 Eagles at halftime. Just like I figured - tons of Westbrook and a zesty day for Garcia.
:-D
No way. Colston didn't have possession in that big of a pile. The ball was moving on the way down.
One big play plus one decent drive.

:o

Holy shtein....I think I am going to have a heart attack.
The offense has to come out smokin. They warmed up like last week in the 2nd and like the last game against the Saints. They HAVE to get the ground game working. It is a must.
The Saints are shutting it down but they haven't tried to run outside. Do the "flip 90" play where they just flip it out to Westbrook and he runs outside.
That muffed punt block was crazy. I think Barber was shocked. That would have been huge to tackle him there - in FG range for the Birds.
Come on offense...dominate out of the half. PLEASE!

And earlier the Saints got a punt on the 14 and Lewis called a FC. When they came back from break it was at the 20. WTF?
It definitely seemed too clean. But I don't think you plan a fake FG in that position. There are no guarantees that your punter is going to pick up 10 yards plus however far back they catch the snap. He's running for about 20 yards there. And if the Eagles just stop him a yard short all the Eagles need is 15 yards to get in FG range for Akers in a dome.
Even Payton isn't that gutsy.

The Eagles are going to win this game offensively. They need to stay agressive, attack the Saints weak secondary, and score points. They are getting no help from the D.
Shoot out as predicted. Whatever defense comes up with a big play or two is the team that wins.
That was the most pathetic thing I've seen for the Eagles run D since the Colts were running out the clock and got a TD on a long drive of all run plays.
Quote from: Eaglez on January 13, 2007, 10:11:49 PM
The Eagles are going to win this game offensively. They need to stay agressive, attack the Saints weak secondary, and score points. They are getting no help from the D.
Andy Reid loves you.
oh my god that was pathetic. c'mon defense.
Avant! Finally they do something to get decent field position for the offense!
That was really good.
Special teams with some chicanery. :-D
reno needs more massages! good call.
That was a gutsy return call. Especially since the Saints just scored a TD.
Glad it worked out.
Let's score another TD. farg field goals in this shootout. The way this game is going, field goals = lose the game.
offense is going to have to win this. defense never got off the plane.

Reno's best contribution to the return game this postseason has been giving the ball to a different player.
That pass looked dangerous.
Beautiful run play. :yay
Westbrook looking good in the 2nd half.
good call with misdirection before. with NO agressive gap control, let them overcommitt
It's just not good when the ball is going to Thomas Tapeh.

bad last three downs
OK defense, if you can't stop them here you won't be able to stop them the rest of the game.
let me guess, duece left, duece right, little end around to Bush, little slant to Colston, deuce left, duece right...................
Westbrook needs to concentrate on that balls. He's better than that. He had some open field to run with on that last drop. and it would probably have put the Eagles in FG position.

This freaking defense couldn't stop a pee wee team right now.
Getting ugly now.
Thats game. Those calls really took the wind out of their sails. That call against Dhani was incredibly weak.
conspiracy....even the announcers were happy
Dawkins has been a non-factor today. Dude needs to fire his men up and get a takeaway.
The D is sucking hard-core nuts. This team deserves to lose.
WTF? The announcers and the refs against us? That was a bull shtein call against Dhani. And YESS! WTF was that?
I'm not blaming anyone for this defense's performance but the defense. It's been dreadful the entire damn game.
They have to make the stops, and they haven't. Simple as that.
Garcia or bust.
He either wins it for us in the 4th or not. Too bad the D didn't show up today. Horrid.
Just like the first game against NO, the offense will end up doing their job when all's said and done.
The defense? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
There's no reason to believe that the Saints won't just go down and score a TD on every drive. Eagles need to match that, and hope that they have leapfrogged ahead when the clock clicks down to all zeroes.
Hopefully the Saints will farg up and turn the ball over at some point.

The defense is a total non-factor. The Saints are driving like they're on the autobahn.
Hey can they do this punt pass and kick stuff sometime while we aren't trying to sustain a drive?
this actually benefits our defense, I can't believe the NFL let this happen with us down.
I think the D will need to create a turnover to win. This silly kids competition is just what the tired D needs. Maybe we'll make some adjustments - enough to get Breeze under a 200 qb rating
STOP WITH THE YELLOW LAUNDRY GOD DAMMIT.

Doesn't matter. ;D
Awesome playcall to Westbrook there.

Yeah but they did that when they were winning in the 1st quarter. The Eagles are losing in the 4th quarter. The announcers have been pro-Saints but let's not go overboard about it.
I'm surprised that as soon as Bush threw his hands up wanting the flag that all the refs didn't simultaneously reach for the yellow.

Anyone who blames this game on Scott YOung and Andrew being hurt is a moron. Let's just get that out of the way right now. The game was lost for 2 reasons:

Another dumb play. We have the ball on 2nd and 10 with like 2:30 left and they RUN the ball for a 1 yard gain. WHAT ARE YOU DOING? It hasn't worked all night minus 2 big plays by Westbrook that stuffed the stat sheet.
We get the ball with like 9 minutes to go and good field possesion, we proceed to throw a deep ball, do a terrible run up the middle, then throw another deep ball. Then we somehow get the ball with 3 minutes to go, we proceed to throw a pass for -1 yards, then a horrible run up the middle, then another 3 yard pass for incompletion. Finally, why didn't we go for it? the Saints were running out the clock, it didn't matter where they got the ball. Instead we punted away the season. I wish we had just sucked and went 6-10, and reid and company would be gone.

2. Crappy playcalling at the wrong times (3rd and 1 at the 3, that punt on 4th and 15).
3. Brian Westbrook (except the long TD) being basically handled by the Saints.
4. Several dropped balls- mostly by Westbrook.
5. Even crappier 3rd down defense (how many 3rd and longs did the Saints convert?).
Could the Eagles have won this game? Certainly. Would they have won it if played at home (hello Tampa Bay)? Maybe.
Now I was annoyed by the Stockton and Johnston, who seemed to have borrowed one of those "F the Eagles" t-shirts from that woman on TV. Admittedly, that could be partially because of my own Philly bias.
I will say this: Out of the four NFC teams this week, the Saints would have the best chance of actually winning the Super Bowl. It ain't likely, but they'd have a better shot than the Eagles (who I would place 2nd), Bears or Seahawks. They just have the most complete team.

I agree, and I also will be rooting for them if they play anyone other than the Chargers.
I am pretty pissed about the Ref situation, but my roomate (again a Cowboys fan) was even more pissed. He thought that was the reason the Eagles lost the game, I disagreed and told him it was Reid.
No excuse not to fix the run defense this offseason... NONE.
See ya Dhani
See ya Walker
See ya Howard
See ya Considine
Considine f'n blows. We need another playmaker at safety besides Dawk.
I wonder what the excuse will be though when the entire defense remains the same and they sell us that Bunkley will be the next Jerome Brown in the offseason.

Note to all: Don't feed troll.
You were impressed with Darren Howard this season? Has he even had a sack since like week 4?
Well this game pretty much tied the season into a nice little knot. Simply, they weren't good enough. A few dumb coaching decisions, injuries, bad tackling, bad bounces on a fumble and poor playcalling. Despite all those things, they only lost by 3. Again.
On the bright side, some drunk idiot I was watching the game with was hitting on this woman who was there with her two young kids...and had a ring on her finger. He was wearing a sweatsuit half un-zipped with no undershirt. Hot.
Howard told DGunn that he could have done better this year. Thanks....
Hood and Lewis are probably done as Eagles too....
Who says that? What could he be holding back?
I don't know what happened to Hood this year. Seemed he was good for at least one flag per game. Almost like he was channeling the spirit of Al Harris.

Actually this is the easiest end of the Eagles season in recent memory. The Eagles got further than they had any right to, and lost to a clearly superior team.
Sure beats getting ass-farged by Ronde Barber or Ricky Manning, watching the offense dick around while time drains out in the Super Bowl, or having to watch Mike McMahon pretend he's an NFL QB for weeks on end.

Like who?
Garcia played well for a bit, but he's not starter material for a long stretch.
Can the team now, PLEASE, get some defensive players for the front seven that can clog some holes and stop the run. It's been the biggest problem on the team for years now and it never gets fixed. Too many fastballs.
Didinger says Kansas City is a possibility, but he thinks Garcia comes back. So does Hebron...
BTW, Garcia has never advanced past the second round in his career...
This loss is definitely easier to swallow that the last playoff losses of recent memory. Even if we won today, we were just delaying the inevitable. Even if the Eagles somehow got to the Superbowl, their terrible defense would've been completely exposed by either the Pats, Colts, or Chargers and then they can play the "we got to the Superbowl our roster is fine" card.

I am trying to remember that, as I drown my dissappointment in tequila and beer. The playoffs were a gift, and we should be thankful.
Slightly related, farg you andy (or marty I don't really give a rat's ass) and the stupid playcalling that handed the game to a clearly superior team that "we" could have beaten.
I could see some team that drafts a QB early starting off the year with Garcia while the rookie learns the ropes. He can't be any worse at it than Plummer, Collins, Bledsoe, or Warner.
Miami, Oakland (not gonna start Russell yet), maybe KC, maybe Chicago, maybe Carolina, Minnesota, Cleveland all need QB's.
If he is honest about wanting to win more than wanting a starting job or money, then that eliminates a few teams. But if a Kansas City, Miami or Minnesota (good defenses) offer him the starting job...he's gone.

Nothing about this loss is easy. It is worse than the Tampa Bay loss. Way worse.
I don't think that Kansas City is replacing Trent Green, and I think that Miami is overly-committed to Dante Culpepper to make Garcia a starter.
Minnesota may be the best option. West coast disciple, good defense.
Big if in my opinion. Garcia played well, but had some big time help from Westbrook and Stallworth and such. It's not like he was just winging the ball around the field for the past 7 weeks and scoring at will.
OUTCOACHED!!!
Garcia will probably stay. Even if other teams want him, I highly doubt they'd be willing to pay more or significantly more than the Eagles. If McNabb broke his leg... different story. The Eagles know McNabb might not be ready with an ACL tear so they will probably give him some real nice backup money.
I can't see Minny paying that much more than the Eagles if at all for a guy who will just "fill the slot" until Jackson becomes the full-time starter.

That's exactly WHY it's worse. They had better players, and were better coached, and entering the 4th quarter we had them by the nutsack. Two ANDY REID drives later, it's a gimme loss. Unexfargingceptable. He should know better by now, and yet still make the same mutherfarging mistakes! He needs to die.
Garcia is 37. He's a career backup who can be highly effective when called upon. But I doubt anyone is going to sign Garcia for a starting QB position.
Any team that is in a 'rebuilding mode' will try and develop a young QB that they can build around, and no one really signs a QB that can 'get them over the hump' -- especially one reaching the end of their career.
He likes Philly, he's comfortable in this role, and I think that if the Eagles sign him to an extension that is one less position to worry about come next season if/when McNabb tears his knee up walking to the locker room.

Yeah, it was also hilarious that before the start of the second they showed Reggie Bush's TD run, even though the score said 14-13 Eagles.
Everyone broadcasting that game wanted the Saints to win. Whatever. It pissed me off listening to that but what do you expect. the media is good at repeating stuff over and over and thinking they are saying something profound within that repetition.

That was the hardest Bush has been hit yet in the NFL. Too bad it was so meaningless.
This game was over when Scott Young's penalty negated Baskett's catch. That sucked. But I still can't believe Reid punted the ball away. At least try to get a first down. No way in hell were we getting the ball back in that situation the way McAllister and Bush were shredding our D.

and Deuce McCallister TD run was the most embarassing play by an Eagles defense since DeShaun Foster in the 2003 NFCCG.

oh yeah, Andy Reid sucks.
Go for it on 4th and 9 but punt on 4th and 14? What a moron! It's almost as if AR was trying to put the loss on JJ. Maybe JJ and the defense deserve to be blamed but how can you put the outcome of the game in their hands at that point. The defense had to be worn down and McAllister was eating them alive all game.
because reid is clueless...he becomes a deer in headlights in normal game situations what do you think is going to happen in the last two minutes of a superbowl or championship game...you expect him to be like that...at this point after seeing him in action for so many years im almost inclined to blame the other coaches and/or players for not stepping up and being like idiot you cant kick here...i mean they had a whole commercial break to stop him

this will go on possibly as long as the superbowl debacle
to tell the fans to get over it less than 72 hrs after the game is just wrong...and to angrily yell it in a im better than you condecending manner was despicable
You're really way too sensitive, IGY. Why do you care what he says or does at all? And don't give me the "he works for the team, and I don't like the attitude," or the "I hurt deeply" nonsense. The guy works for the team and wants people to focus on the positive. You want to focus on the negative. So, go ahead. But who cares what he says one way or the other? It really doesn't matter.

The Eagles losing and Reid's playcalling was all a conspiracy against IGY.

btw is anything worse than having non eagle fans come up to you at work and saying this "dood what happened?"...like not even in a rubbing it in way...just asking it in an open ended manner...four people have done that to me in the last half hour and its building a mighty rage inside me
I told you not to go with the "I'm hurting" girlie stance. No offense, PG ;).

sure, they could've (possibly should've) won the new orleans game but i didn't see any way in hell they would beat the colts or pats. both teams have a history of destroying jj's defense & this year's defense is crappier than usual.
The funny thing is, IGY didn't really give the Eagles a chance to win going into the game.
The funny thing is, IGY didn't really give the Eagles a chance to win going into the game.
this is true
and its the closeness of the score that makes it that much more painful...the eagle players went into an atmosphere that might never be duplicated again and played their farging guts out only to have their pathetic coach sell them out...the fact that they should have won is what makes the loss so excrutiating
I would argue that the defense did not play their guts out.
I concur.
Have to agree. The offense should never gotten to a 4th and 9. The D should have stepped up, but didnt. The coach did give the D a chance, i wouldnt have put it on their shoulders but Andy did. They failed at stopping 3 runs. Its over, it was a good run, but with all of the injuries they had i dont think they would have a shot at winning the SB. They were much healthier in 2004.
if you were one of the people here last week who thought the defense was going to stop the saints then you were drinking the kool aid
i was shocked at how many people thought the eagles would win because of the defense...many people had the saints at 20 pts or under....that just wasnt going to happen...but the defense did fight...help the saints to a couple red zone field goals...won the turnover battle and even had three sacks...they had the team in a position to win
But the Offense failed, and the D failed. Scott Young needs to die also...
Wrong. The D had to step up to win the game. They didn't and the Eagles lost. The only way the Eagles COULD win the game is if the D played their A game. They didn't.
this defense doesnt have an A game against a offense as good as the saints...in fact not many teams in the nfc have a defense that can stop the saints...so again if you wanted the d to step up and win this game you were fooling yourself and looking for something that wasnt there
if the eagles score a td on the brutal 3rd and 1 call
they get a tying fg on their last drive
or westbrook is properly used thruout the game and the saints have to come back late to win and THEN the defense folds and gives up a game winning score im killing them right now
but that didnt happen...they played the same way theyve basically played all year...they did what was expected and had the team in the game
if you wanna say the defense was subpar this year and has to be improved then i wholeheartedly agree...but the defense did not lose that game...nor did the offense...
I would have liked to at least see a C+ game. the defense was awful
I agree with IGY in that the frustrating part is that they were in a position to win against a superior team and couldn't do it because their coach is an idiot. But the defense didn't play well and outside of two big plays the offense didn't play well either. A better coach wins that game. A better team wins that game. The Eagles were neither.

looking back on the season as a whole this isnt as bad as 2004 but the new orleans game by itself is maybe the worst loss ive ever suffered....because they so easily could have/should have won...carolina had a higher frustration factor but at the end of the day they were worked all night long in that game...you never really felt as if they could win it...same with tampa
Leaving the last game at the Vet like that was worse than New Orleans.
the saints have arguably the mvp of the league at quarterback
weapons all over the field
the number one offense in the NFL
averaged 26 pts a game this year
what did you expect the defense to do exactly?...they played exactly like i knew they would...better in fact...i fully expected the saints to get more than 30 in this game
Leaving the last game at the Vet like that was worse than New Orleans.
they got dominated in that game...i got over that relatively quick...people like to build up the last game at the vet thing but other than that the loss itself doesnt come close to the superbowl or saturday

QuoteAR has won more games than any NFL coach since he's been here, other than Belichick. BB stands alone. AR makes mistakes, as does everybody. He makes far, far, far fewer than any other coach, though, other than BB. So, I find his strategy to be a successful one. To say the Eagles lost because they punted on fourth and 15 is just plain wrong.

I'm no PR guy for Spads but let's be real here. The WIP morning show feeds off negativity. That is what drives their ratings. They want the misery of the Philadelphia fan. They have a mob mentality there and it grows and grows and grows. So what if Spads told them to get over it? (According to him he was talking to Angelo & Rhea) They do need to get over it. Just like we will eventually.
And hell yeah this loss stings. They should have won.
its spads right to act like a complete fool...its also his right to act pompous and condescending...
but its the rest fo the worlds right to call his nerdy ass out on it...if you cant take the heat dont go on wip and say stupid shtein...and if you do at least have the balls to call people names in person...not slink off to your personal blog and start dropping names...and why not call angelo al or keith jones a bitch....why single out the female on the program...hes such a loser

Probably because he has no beef with Al or Keith and Rhea deserved to be called on it. Should he have done it on air? Yeah but it would have been dumped anyways. She was screaming this morning. She overreacted and she takes shot at Dave all time on air not in the person of him.
Like I said - I just don't get why such hate gets spewed by that show. I used to like listening but I can't do it anymore. Maybe for 15-20 minutes at a time if I'm on the way home, but not like I used to. Their irrational logic applied many times drives me nuts. Its almost like they disregard fact and harp on the negative to stir up the mob mentality.
You can be disappointed and not be pleased with the outcome, playcalling or whatever without being totally over the top ignorant about it. That is something Rhea and Cataldi don't get.

she said nothing that no one didnt say....hes a punk and he chose to call her out period
and in general they havent said anything on that show that every other eagle fan has been saying about the game...spads is trying to defend the indefensable and hes losing his cool doing it because he doesnt have any legs to stand on so its frustrating him...which is fine but theres no excuse for to have come at the fans and specifically rhea like he did...makes him look very small
I just like seeing her get called on it. They rip people on there all day long. So she called called a bitch. Big deal. It's just like when some fans talk tough and then get thin skinned when someone throws it back in their faces. My boy is like that. I get him worked up on purpose nowadays because it is funny watching him get bent outta shape about stupid shtein. I just have to mention Andy or Donovan and its off to the races.
except she didnt get called on it...he ran back to his computer and dropped the bitch bomb on his blog
on air...all four of the wip heads (even hockey guy keith jones was piping in) were questioning spads on the game and he had no real answers...he got frustrated and blurted out to just let it go (as if it happened two years ago) youre being negatibe boo hoo mommy help me!...
it was funny how much he lost control....he really needed to come on the air better prepared with some sort of defense above and beyond "let it go"...then again in defense of the poor little fellow there really is nothign he could come up with...i suppose you gotta give him some sort of credit for even showing up to take questions...but at the same time you cant lose your composure like that and immediately after an on air intwerview run to your computer and start calling people names on a cheesy blog...when youre supposedly a professional writer and more importantly a representative of the eagles organization thats just not acceptable...i mean this is us on CF

Someone did. He said he couldn't speak for Banner and to write in a question for him to answer (I assume in Eagles Insider?)
The 4th and 15 wasn't even what lost the Eagles the game. They weren't going to win at that point anyway. Everyone knows it, they just don't want to admit it. The 3rd and 1 call lost the Eagles the game as far as single plays are concerned. The Saints stopping the Eagles and holding them to a field goal fired them up.
But even though the Saints have a great offense, there is no excuse for them to run all over the Eagles like that. The defense showed up and played hard but they simply aren't good enough. They have proven that throughout the whole season. They can't stop the run and if they don't fix it they won't next year either... or the year after.
Spadaro and WIP are polar opposites. Why do people get mad at Spadaro for being a well-wisher but defend WIP for being a bunch of misery lovers? They are both detached from reality.
Who. Cares.
The only thing I don't like is Spadaro calling someone a bitch on his message board. Even if she pisses him off, he just needs to act a bit more professional considering he's representing a legitimate organization.

Because most here are in that same detached from reality world of negativity that is WIP. So, naturally, WIP is right.
Anything that comes from Dave Spadaro or WIP should be thrown out immediately.

The people at WIP get paid, for the most part, to be negative pricks and rile up callers with retarded negativity. And yes, there are different shows on WIP, but when people think WIP, they think of douche bags like Angelo and bitches like Rhea.
Dave Spadaro is emplyed and payed by the Eagles to talk up the team and spin everything into a positive light, retardedly. When people think of retarded homer who says things like the Eagles will be perfect at WR without Donte Stallworth, they think of douche bags like Dave Spadaro.
I don't really bother with either because they do what they're supposed to do, what they're getting paid to do. Can't really blame them for doing thier jobs. But anything they say is pretty much bullshtein.

so on the whole station all you can name is two people and they do the same show?...yet "the people" at wip get paid to do that?
nice generalization
and rheas a perfectly average fan...she compliments when required and bashes when required....in fact she spends half her time telling angelo how ridiculous he is....angelo and eskin are the only irrational people on the whole station
but keep pushing the wip sucks and is out of control bandwagon because its the cool thing to do to say how awful it is...its no different than the kids who used to (and maybe still do) rip "taters" as a way of upping their net rep and coolness factor
Like I said...when people think WIP, they think of douche bags like Angelo. The "sane" people on that radio station aren't the people that make listeners hate WIP.
And douche bags like Angelo are being paid to do bizzaro-world Dave Spardaro's job. They're pretty much the same thing.
One good thing about WIP is that it's a forum for people to call in and voice opinions, and therefore gets some good discussion going from time to time.

you either dont listen to angelo or your homerism is taking over
when the team was on their winning streak angelo was going nuts...talking superbowl...he was the eagles biggest fan...
are you saying when the eagles are playing bad or do something bad spadaro is destroying them?....because for angelo and spadaro to be the same thing (but opposites) as you say thats what hed have to do
what angelo does is try to get the city fired up...fired up at the team when they are bad and fired for the team when they are good

Angelo does that shtein every year...the Eagles win a game, he tries to get all excited and scream super bowl blah blah....It's all bullshtein. He wasn't the "eagles biggest fan", he was the overly negative douche jumping on the bandwagon so once they lost, he could go back to talking how terrible they are.
As soon as they lose agame....everyone stinks, the team stinks, McNabb is terrible, etc...
He gets payed to be a negative prick. Spadaro gets payed to be an overly positive retard.
And please dont' tell me I don't listen to Angelo...I've listened plenty to Angelo....and I've watched his Monday show after the games the last couple years...Thank god they replaced him this year....Though Barkaan is kind of a douche in his own right.
He gets payed to be a negative prick
then he should have been fired along time ago because when the eagles win hes the exact opposite of negative
i really could care less if you like angelo and i would never try to sway you otherwise as i can see why people would despise him...thats part of his schtick...
but please dont compare him to spadaro...they arent even close to the same thing...its funny seeing you try to defend your god spads by bashing angelo when one has absolutely nothing to do with the other

Now you're cookin' with grease, sailor.

She looks like a 20 dollar whore who gives blow jobs on Pacific Avenue in Atlantic City.
You're from Sea Isle, and you're claiming you've never purchased the services of one of those girls? Also, you've admittedly gone to a strip club in Lehigh County, but you're calling AC girls trash?
You'd bend her over and give her something to wear a dirty t-shirt about. Stop fronting.

Heh, if he goes that deep, he'll be cookin' with gas........and maybe a little something else.
KaKa!
Tom Jackson just gave his "Jacked Up" top 5 hits of the year. #1 was no surprise:

I hate seeing that hit, had they won, that would be the second happiest hit in my life. Irvin getting killed by Timmy Hauck the obvious first :evil

Excect Hauck didn't exactly kill Irvin. Insofar as death nearly occured, it was Irvin's own fault for trying to duck under the hit, driving his own head into the concretefield.

omg i worship you
i said this right after it happened......that were it not for the game result that would have been the best hit in the history of the nfl

Yup...it made me sad because I was SOOOO excited that it was my boy that did it.
That was a textbook hit from Brown. You could see him square up, lower his shoulder and deliver every ounce of force into that bitch Reggie Bush.
I thought for sure Bush was done and the ambulance was coming for him. To his credit, though, he got up.
Bah...Bush deserves only marginal credit for getting up. Fact was, he wasn't hurt. If he hadn't gotten up, he'd of been a supreme Hoyda. And the fact that he wasn't hurt was pure chance.
Also..what's with Sheldon and laying out guys named Reggie?
His mom got slapped around by Reggie White.

I hate refs.
Go root for the skins, polesucker. The refs did not lose that game for the Eagles.

HA! I knew it, the smoking gun. Now who's sucking pole sucka? And what the hell is "go root for the skins" supposed to mean anyway??
It means that it demeans you as a fan when you whine about the officiating needlessly. It's the type of thing you see on extremeskins all the time.
The Saints ran the farg over the Eagles all game long. Were the zebras throwing cut blocks for them?
a picture of andy reid in a saints hat would be more legitimate
legitimate? you got some strange diction son
i always keeps it street
