Berwick balanced everything out with their superior highschool program though. Having Ron Powlus as an alumnus puts you in elite status like that.
I'm not surprised about the #1 football ranking at the professional level. Philly and Pittsburgh probably have the two most passionate fan bases in the league.
Florida is great for high school and college, but their fans for NFL teams couldn't give a shtein less about their teams.
Same with California. The Chargers and Niners stadiums get taken over by away fans weekly until the teams get good. Raiders fans are ok, but that is it.
