At least we have the Wings.

This is the type of thread that gets me pumped.
flyers sixers have lost a combined 12 games in a row
who has the better chance to finish last in their league
well considering that the sixers have the worst record in the league and are only 3 games out of first place, they probably have a better shot than the flyers at not finishing last.
yeah i think the sixers probably have more bad teams to compete with than the flyers...and in general i dont think they suck quite as much...the flyers are essentially an AHL team
it really is amazing how bad the Atlantic Division is. the Sixers could go on a 3 game winning streak and be in first place.

You forgot to factor the Team Basketball concept into the equation. That and the Flyers Vorp is higher than the Sixers.
both teams get pasted last nite...flyers won me money for a double bonus...the sixers somehow managed to lose to the celtics...another team in the number one pick race....by an amazing 20 pts.....team ball yo

I have yet to see an OSU game on teh tv but I've been checking out his highlights and whatnot on espn and dude is definately a gamer. His first game with the soft cast or brace on his wrist was amazing. Especially when he was making free throws with his off hand.
The Sixers will win the lottery this year. Unfortunately, by the time the lottery gets here they will have traded away their 1st round pick in some rediculous swap of 1st round picks included in the Iverson deal.

i think the sixers win sat at home vs the knicks...tho the knicks had a surprising win last night
they combined have 13 games left this month and 10 of them are on the road so you might be right
The Blues and Grizzlies won, so the Flyers and Sixers are now the worst in each league all by themselves....

It's always sunny in Philadelphia.
charlotte choked against the knicks last nite....memphis in a good showing played the spurs till the end
sixers with a nice loss
status quo
Flyers lose their 8th in a row.
Flyers & Sixers have lost a combined TWENTY in a row.
Boston w/o Pierce tonight. Miller and Smith snowed in still.
yeah pierce out 2-3 weeks
hurry back paul
fyi - the blues won last night giving the flyers a four point cushion for last place in the league
sixers will break the 20 game losing streak this weekend....they have a pierceless celts team and a depleted knicks team at home...if they dont win one or both of those they wont win the rest of the year
I hope they dont win.
At this point I'm hoping that both the Flyers and Sixers go completely winless in the month of December. Would be another great chapter in the history of Philadelphia sports futility.
Last wins;
Flyers - November 30th @ NYI
Last home win - November 24th vs. Columbus
Ken Hitchcock's record with Columbus: 7-6
John Stevens' record with Philadelphia: 7-19
Sixers - November 24th vs. Chicago
Hitchcock is like TO....does great the first year or two then becomes a pain in the ass to deal with.....

What are you complaining about? They both have seven wins... :paranoid
There's this dude who works in an office down the hall from me who's from Philly and is a big Philly sports fan. But he's an annoying fan because he thinks all the players who play in Philly are great and capable of winning championships. He's an idiot. Anywho, I had a $20 bet going with him for about 2 weeks now that the Flyers and Sixers would go winless for the rest of the month.
Now I'm pissed. Not because I gotta pay up $20 but because I'm going to have to listen to him tell me how the Sixers are going to turn it all around now or some dumb shtein like that. He's the Philly version of extremeskins and I want to fire bomb his house.
After games of 12/27:
1. FLYERS = 20 pts
2. Blues = 27 pts
3. Coyotes = 28 pts
4. Kings = 31 pts
5. Blue Jackets = 31 pts
1. Grizzlies = 6-24
2. SIXERS = 7-21
3. Bobcats = 7-21
4. Hawks = 9-18
5. Celtics = 10-17
Sixers really need to pick it up. Flyers have done their part and are pretty much set right now as the worst team. Another 11 game losing streak and trading Andre Miller should do the trick.
Gotta catch the Grizz, cmon.

Why are the Celtics doing worse than the Sixers?
No Paul Pierce and they've lost 10 straight
I was working the board last night for the Celtics/Wizards game and the Celtics kept it interesting midway through the fourth. They just suck really badly.
so not only will the sixers not get oden but they will have to play oden eight times a year....sweet
Good thing Dalembert's a total stud.
id almost rather have the Sixers get the 2nd pick and make some other team decide between Durant and Oden, because I think by draft time, that's going to be a very real debate
What about Noah? What if the 6ers get him? I think he's good, too

wow MA
anyone that likes to see "kids" grow over a four year period is either really old or really white
so if it's a college player, it's old, white and ma. but if it's in the nba, then it's totally acceptable.
if youre a senior in college most likely you suck and have no basketball future
if you grow in the nba for your first four years you most likely are one of the best nasketball players in the world
big difference

happy, everyone?
big loss to Charlotte tonight
with only seven games left its fairly safe to say that any teams +/- 2 of the sixers are not going to effect them (there are two teams kings @ 24 and indy @ 28 within 2 games)
so really it comes down three teams fighting for the seventh pick with an advantage to the sixers ('winnable' games)

i'm not excited about anyone at 7. i hate cole aldrich and even as a georgetown fan i wouldn't touch greg monroe. i guess ed davis would be a pick there but not too sold on him either. maybe udoh or patterson.
yeah its a pretty vanilla draft....theres two players that jump out to me in the whole draft...wall of course and hassan whiteside...his upside is ridiculous
he wont be ready for a couple years but they can work him in until then and hope he explodes around the time they will have some cap money
i haven't seen one second of him.
they were on espnu several times that i saw...didnt watch any full games but saw a decent amount and theres a lot of film on the internet of him

i really like aldrich as a college player but he's definitely one of those guys who probably won't do much at the pro level. he's kind of a lighter, but more skilled version of todd mccullough. that said, if he has a career even remotely similar to mac's, then it's a huge success for him. i'd rather see him stay at kansas for his senior year but i can't really blame him for chasing the cash since there's nothing by way of big men this year which automatically improves his stock.
i wouldnt say hes chasing the cash because thats usually reserved for people who are going out way to early...he has no upside whatsoever...he is what he is and there nothing another year of college can do for him...
when john wall turns out to be the next AI i say we all burn down ed stefanski's house for not tanking and not getting enough lotto balls. in fact i say we do it anyway.

the reason i say he's chasing the cash is because this year, he's the top center in the draft so he will most definitely get drafted higher now than if he waited until next year. obviously he's about maxed out as far as his upside/potential goes so the extra year of college won't really make him any/much better. the only reason i wanted to see him stay for his senior year is because i like kansas and he's an important part of that team, not because i think he needs to work on his game.

how big is the detroit game? some real chances to move up in the draft now.
proud of these guys
looking pretty good through 3 qtrs. down by 11. a little less effort on the quart and this game can be out of reach in no time.
3 games is a lot for detroit, gs and dc to make up but it can be done.
either way this is terrific effort, exactly what you want to see. if only it could have started sooner.
wow
dc wins @ bos
det wins @ mia
this might happen. believe.
lil guy gonna explode
this team can't even lose right.
they will end up either 6 -7 -8...one game left for each team all tomorrow night

definitely not to early....
clippers - 1
76ers - 2
(4) teams - 3
Who are the candidates at the top of the draft? Is it going to be another major disappointment if they don't draft #1, or is there a clump of similar guys?
nothing like last year....theres not anyone close to the level of a john wall and overall its a really weak draft
the top 10 will basically be a bunch of one-and-done SFs and two European PFs (one of which is ineligible to play for Kentucky)
