With the Eagles having the night game, here's what we get in the Philly area:
1:00 CBS = Steelers/Ravens (Gumbel/Dierdorf)
1:00 FOX = Saints/Falcons (Stockton/Johnston/Siragusa)
4:15 FOX = Giants/Titans (Albert/Baldinger)

Harrington with 3 TDs today. Thats cool because I had to pick him up in two leagues since McNabb went out.
Norman LeJeune getting some playing time for the Dolphins today.
Keith Adams also is playing and had a penalty on STs. As he's coming off the field Saban rips into his ass saying "Be smart! Look at the field position you cost us!!"
Dolphins are going to win 27-10
Boooooooooooooooring
Miami has won 4 in a row....and just like last year they are getting on a roll.
I sat Marty Booker this week.
:-D
Weird. My Tivo schedule says I get Bears @ Pats but tvguide.com says I get Giants @ Titans.
I sat Marty Booker this week
i bet on the lions
I started Booker in one league and Roy Williams in another. The only other player I had was Welker, who was on the bench. Not a bad first game for me.
i was hesitant at first but that romo cat is the real effin deal and dallas' offense in general is stacked
amazing what you can do by running the ball and having good wr's
5TDs is hard to argue with.
As I mentioned, I benched him in the CFFFL AFC... but I DID pick him up for $12 in the salary cap league before this week. So, I will benefit slightly from his performance.
I started Marion Barber over Maurice Drew today. Holla.
Romo will come down to earth. Still an average QB at best.
oh and

I picked up Harrington 4 weeks ago as a bye player replacement. Then, I dropped him. Now someone else has him. I'm not smart.
I also picked Tampa Bay +12 1/2 -- further proof. I don't think I have ever bet on Tampa Bay and won. If I pick them, the lose. If I pick the other team, they win.

Gumbel was...I don't know. Just horrid. What the hell do networks think when they evaluate talent? I believe that they put no value into who is announcing, and simply think that people will tune in if it's a "name" guy. That's why Madden is the biggest guy, and I guess that's why an established media man like Gumbel got this gig. Collinsworth is pretty good, but the two of them sucked. Perhaps they'll improve over time, but it was zesty.
Also, I started Kevin Jones today. Go me.

The defense he threw 5 TD's against last night scored 14 points against the Eagles.
I'd say he's the real deal, for now.
I don't give a shtein if he's the real deal or not. I just want someone to bitchslap that irritating smirk off his smug farging face with the quickness.
kinda like i wanna do with mcnabb
except mcnabb giggles after he throws a game losing interception
romo does it after he throws for five touchdowns
Well, McNabb is an Eagle so we have to accept and deal with his quirky personality as fans of the team.
Romo, on the other hand... I can't wait until the Eagles get a shot at him. Knock his block off, Dawk.
Romo's Cowboys will murder Garcia's Eagles in a few weeks.

If you ever had any doubt about the strength of the linemen who play in the NFL, you need only to have watched one play in the first half yesterday.
Steelers running back Willie Parker busted up the middle and appeared to be headed for a decent gain, especially because the only guy who could stop him at the line - Ravens rookie Haloti Ngata - was occupied with a blocker.
No problem. Ngata simply reached out with his free arm and slammed Parker in the chest, knocking him flat on his back. And Parker is one of the toughest guys in the league to bring down. Trust me, some of these guys really could crush a Volkswagen with their bare hands.

article (http://www.indystar.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20061127/COLUMNISTS01/611270405/1004/SPORTS)
QuoteThere was only one downside to this whole thing -- well, two, if you count the injuries to Dallas Clark, Ryan Diem and Antoine Bethea.
It involved Harrison.
There is no bigger Harrison fan than the guy who rents this corner of the sports page. It doesn't matter to me whether he talks to the media or blows us off. When he is done, he will be a first-ballot Hall of Famer and will have records that only Jerry Rice will exceed.
On Sunday night, though, he was selfish and small, not a whole lot different than the players -- Terrell Owens and Chad Johnson and others -- to whom he is often favorably compared.
Maybe it wasn't apparent to those who watched the game on TV -- NBC dropped the ball on Harrison's pre-halftime disappearing act -- but Harrison put on a display that was as embarrassing as it was out of character.
As the Colts lined up to try an Adam Vinatieri field goal just before halftime, Harrison casually made a beeline for the locker room, a move reminiscent of LeBron James. He hadn't been a big part of the offense, catching just one pass, but why fret? The Colts were poised to take a 24-7 lead. Who cares who's getting the love? But Harrison wasn't interested in staying involved.
As the field-goal team lined up for the attempt, and the Colts' teammates stood on the sideline awaiting that final play, Harrison was disappearing into the tunnel, his back to the field of play.
Then came the fourth quarter, the Colts leading comfortably, when Manning threw a rare pass to Harrison, who caught it, then had it stripped easily by Philadelphia's Lito Sheppard.
That wasn't the issue, though. The issue was, Harrison just stood there, making no effort to chase down Sheppard as he returned the ball.
When Dungy was asked later about Harrison's apparent hissy fit, he shrugged and said, "Once we saw how the game was going to go (with the Eagles consistently double-teaming the wide receivers), we knew we'd be running. He and I talked before the game and we were hoping to get him to 1,000 career catches (he came into the game with 987), but it'll happen.''
His name is Schmuck. And he just lives with that. Wow.
That's funny about Harrison. There are a lot of babies in the NFL aren't there? Oh well. farg him.
His mom lives in my dad's development. Next time I'm there I'll find her house and tell her that her son is a bitch.
Why is it that all WRs insist on acting like little girls?
