Alright, wasn't sure where else to post this so here goes...
Can someone tell me why, with the major injuries that the Giants have, the line on the Giants-Bears game is still a pick-em?
Because the Bears got manhandled by a 1-6 Dolphins team last week, their star linebacker is hurt, their quarterback played like a clueless rookie last weekend, and they're on the road facing a 6-2 team?
The Giants are starting a practice squad guy at DE and might be starting David Tyree at WR.
the bears qb is a complete and disgraceful fraud meaning they can lose to ANYONE as exhibited last week much less at new york

QuoteReport: Burress calls Bears' DBs 'very beatable'
Giants' wide receiver Plaxico Burress continues to sit out practice due to back spasms, but that has not prevented him from speaking his mind about playing the Chicago Bears on Sunday night.
Burress sounds quite confident that he and the other Giants' receivers can fare well against the Bears' defensive backs.
"I don't think they're the best corners I've played against or we've played against this year. By far, no," Burress reportedly told the Newark Star-Ledger. "Those guys make plays (on) the balls that are thrown straight to them, but they're not just covering guys straight up and just shutting them down. I haven't seen any of that.
"They're very beatable."
When pressed about which group of defensive backs is toughest for him to play against, Burress reportedly told the newspaper it "Definitely not them. If they want to come out there and play cover-1, bump-and-run, be (my) guest. I, for one, love it.
"They want to come out there, bump and play press one-on-one? Let's get go out there and have fun. Let's get it."
Of course, as the Star-Ledger piece points out, Burress must be healthy to play on Sunday night. After missing last week's Giants' victory over Texas, Burress continues to miss practice. He was expected to work out Wednesday, but was ruled out after his back tightened up.
Burress, however, reportedly promised to "exploit" the Bears' corners if the cover him one-on-one. He also said the only reason why Chicago's corners combined for six interceptions is because of the team's stingy front seven.
"They fly around, they're physical guys, they get after it, they blitz, they hit gaps," Burress said. "They're up in there trying to create havoc. And that's why their defensive backs make plays because they create so much pressure up front."
The Bears' cornerbacks, on the other hand, did not seem to think much of Burress' comments.
"We'll see you on Sunday," lollypop guild midget cornerback Ricky Manning Jr. reportedly said. :-D
Coughlin's blood pressure must have zoomed through the roof after hearing of those comments.
:yay :-D
Plus the Bears have played like shtein on the road.
Urlacher on Jacobs" "Who is he? One of their RBs?"
I'd like to see those two square off. Who wins?
On the field? Urlacher.
In a real fight? Jacobs.
Falcons getting hammered with injuries:
QuoteAbraham - out
CB Jason Webster – out 4-6 weeks with Torn Groin
CB Jimmy Williams - (who was to play in Jason's spot) – turned his ankle yesterday in practice.
CB DeAngelo Hall – Hamstring problems yesterday in practice. (Hall said his hamstring is really bothering him. Though it seems likely that Hall will play, the injury will be worth monitoring Friday and Saturday).
RG Kynan Forney – Placed on IR Wednesday.
TB Jerious Norwood - (strained right knee) did not practice Thursday. This could result in starter Warrick Dunn carrying a heavy load. It also would affect Atlanta's special teams, since Norwood is one of the top kickoff coverage players and the second deep kickoff return man. Of the Falcons listed as questionable — excluding
MLB – Edgeton Hartwell - return seems unlikely Sunday. He has not practiced this week as he continues to rehabilitate his arthroscopically repaired knees, which became irritated after he tried to play in consecutive games after missing the season's first five games.
They're only playing the Browns but that's a lot of injuries for a Defense to overcome.

Come on, Bucs.
Booo Delhomo and Foster.
Ugh.
ESPN still hasn't learned. This celebrity in the booth shtein is annoying.
Jeff Gordon is in there now. Die.
They just showed a clip of The Leg driving a Nascar. Too bad he didn't wreck.
Was he promoting NASCAR's return to ESPN next year?
of course he was....
and this is what makes ESPN a joke, they have a douchey celebrity in the booth, and Tirico is calling the game like it's an after thought
And who's watching?
everyone
The Mouse wins again.
What a flop by Keyshawn. Refs need to flag players who flop so blatently. farg, I hate 19.
Patrick Kerney done for the year too
Monday Night Football has become unbearable for me to watch. Kornholer and Theisman are just too friggen' much. They argue over the dumbest shtein, and talk over the plays like anyone has any intrest in the drivel coming out of the sewer holes they call mouths. Why is it these two supposed intellectual dumb ass sports annoucers think that everything they say should be etched in stone and is so enlightening that they must talk over the game they are covering to get a point across.
ESPN has ruined Monday Night Football with these two iceholes.

Is it sweeps week? Cause I think we got a winner.
Rams signed Willie Ponder to be the KOR. Looks like JR Reed is done.
NFL is allowing jack del Rio and Mike Nolan to wear suits on the sidelines this weekend, which I think is cool. It's ridiculous that they ahve been mandated to look like shlubs for all these years.
That was posted somewhere else around here too. I like it. I think the NFL is about the only 'business' out there that's telling employees it's not ok to wear a suit to work.
The NFL is so far off base on this one,it's ridiculous.
Do you know how much money they could make if they made a line of suits with discreet, small, but unmistakeable ovations to each particular team? Get Damon Dash to design them, throw a classy logo on the cuff, and presto! Free money.
It would help image, bottom line, the whole nine.
Idiot dinosaurs run this NFL, I swear.
Andy needs to wear a pimp hat with his.
Do they make a utility belt for suits? I don't think Andy can wear pants without one. Maybe some fancy suspenders or something?
:yay to suits.
:boo to them only being allowed for 2 games and being designed by Reebok.
If Belichick can wear mutilated cutoff sweatshirts that look like shtein (a look I doubt is helping Reebok in any way), I don't see why other coaches should be prevented from wearing what they want.
That's why they call it to the No Fun League
