So this guy I used to work with, who is a Rutgers alum like me was lucky enough to get 4 tix to the Louisville game on Thursday. He calls me last week, asks if I want to go and of course I say I do. Subsequently, I turn down two other ticket offers because I thought I was going. Turns out, I get a call from his buddy (not even him) ten minutes ago telling me that he sold them on craigs list. He got $1000 for the 4, which is about the going rate on ebay...which all but assures that I'll be watching from the bar instead of the stadium.
farg, farg, farg. :boo :boo :boo
farg Rutgers?
;)
Rutgers is going to get housed anyway. Enjoy getting drunk at the bar.
^^^^
i know it sucks not being able to go....but what he said
smart move by the cat who sold them
ass could of gave you a heads up anyway. punch him in the face like that giants fan.

Yeah... I'd pretty much whoop his ass.
What a jerkoff.
I hope Rutgers wins. I want the BCS to blow up.
I just got a call from the guy. He only decided to sell 2, and keep the other 2, so I'm going.
Disregard my rant. :-D
now you owe him a bj.
You should still whoop his ass for putting you through that shtein... or just for the hell of it.

so he's buying the booze then i assume
He'll be buying the pre-game booze. Damn Rutgers Stadium doesnt allow booze to be sold inside, which is what I think is consistent with all colleges with the exception of the U. But, as we know, they don't follow any rules at all.
If the stadium is on campus, then they won't sell booze.
I go to UCF games all the time and they sell beer because they play at the Citrus Bowl. Unfortunately, next year they move into their new stadium on campus and beer sales are being forbidden. They tried to stop drinking at tailgates until someone reminded them that few people cared about the team as it is and they relented.
I bet he is trying to trick you again.
fool you once.......................... ya cant get fooled again.
louisville -7
Confucious say: It's better to be pissed off than pissed on.
Great comeback win.

Oops.
Great game.
I hope the BCS' computers blow up.
That was a great game to watch. A strong running game, strong defense, timely passes.
Get Schiano?
:paranoid

Yes. And bring Brian Leonard.

Eckel was on WIP last night saying they should fire Reid and hire Schiano. I wasn't shocked since it was Eckel. He did say that the Eagles have been all over Leonard since last year and were bummed that he decided to go back to school.
How did Leonard play last night? I know he's been getting less action this year than previously.
What a game. What a night. I didnt think I wouldver live to see what I saw last night. Well worth the wait.
5 for 21 and 1 catch for 26 yards. But he's been huge in blocking and getting the tough yards when needed. They were comparing him to Alstott when he first came into the NFL.
I'd love to see him here next year.
That Rutgers defense put on one of the best displays in a half that I have ever seen.
First, that was an awesome game.
Second, what Leonard is doing this year, while quiet, makes him even more valuable in the NFL. He's a solid runner, great receiver and selfless blocker. He'd be an awesome WCO FB.

I've only watched two Rutgers games since Leonard started playing, but he looks like exactly the kind of player that the Eagles could use. Which means it absolutely will not happen. Awesome.

I hope the BCS' computers blow up.
unfortunately rutgers has no possible shot of a title game, even if the run the table and finish with a win against WVU.
but yeah, louisville dropping down shoud make things interesting.

nor should they...its a nice story but they arent any good and their conference is even worse...they will most likely lose to wva anyway
If they beat WVU they would have beaten two top 10 teams, right?
And Ohio State hasn't faced much better opponents than Rutgers this year. The Big 10 this year is crap much like the Big East. And their common opponent, Illinois, has lost to RU 33-0 and lost to OSU 17-10.
Cincinatti will be a common opponent after nex week too..
Does Leonard have a Ritchie horn on the left side of his head? WTF

Everyone one loss team in the BCS standings should line up to kiss the asses of the Rutgers players and coaching staff for pulling off that game last night.
Man, what a second half. Talk about a coach who made some terrific strategic changes at halftime. Rutgers played like a completely different team in the second half.

The winner of the OSU/Michigan game, assuming they're both undefeated after this weekend, should absolutely be in the title game.
And Illinois has been improving throughout the season. Rutgers got them early.
I'm not saying Rutgers doesn't deserve to go to a BCS title game if they're undefeated, because I think they should, but saying the Big Ten isn't any better than the Big East in general is a bit of a stretch.
