The biggest game of the day takes place tonight. Manning vs. Brady. Yay! More slurp, slurp of King Peyton. Go Pats.
Cowboys go to FedEx to take on Saint Joe.
Houston goes to NY to take on Eli. Dexter Wynn returning kicks for HOU.
Go Lions! You hopefully can stop the Mike Vick hype-train.
Go Dolphins! No shot. But it would be nice to see the Bears lose.
Go Bucs! Gotta give the Saints more losses.
You play to win the game, Kansas City!! Beat the Rams...

I am really looking forward to tonights game ...man that should be good.
And here's to the Skins and hoping the beat the Cowgirls!!
I can't root for the Skins. Just can't do it. I want them to get beaten to a pulp. I know we need them to beat DAL so if it happens, fine.
I am praying that HOU does something.
I hate bye weeks.
Burress is out for NYG
Glenn is starting for DAL but he's hurting
Portis starting despite a high ankle sprain
Santana Moss out
Joe Horn out
Giants are also missing Umenyiora, Madison and Brandon Short
Wow...Jints missing a lot of players ...GO TEXANS!
Strahan just went to the locker room with a foot injury. :=)
17-0 Jacksonville
17-0 Baltimore
17-0 New Orleans
17-0 Kansas City
10-0 Buffalo
14-3 Miami :o
Don't be shocked about Miami. They're playing for the 72 Fins.

Calling it a "mid foot sprain"
Last time we heard that was when Westbrook, Dawkins and Duce had the dreaded Lis Franc injury.
17-7 DET over ATL (vick fumbled and threw an INT)
14-10 MIA over CHI (Berrian out with a rib injury and fargs my $$ FFL)
12-9 WAS over DAL (Romo not looking good, Portis finally breaks one)
17-14 NO over TB (TB scores 14 straight after being down 17)
7-3 NYG over HOU (Mario is looking good, Jints O is not---GO TEXANS!)
24-7 KC over STL (Johnson tearing it up)
12-12 Dallas ties it up
ATL makes it 17-14...
MIA about to kick a FG...I think Mare just missed it. 14-10 still at the half

Is that what it's called?
On the radio broadcast Carl Banks kept calling it an "Anne Frank" injury. :-D
TO scored a touchdown then laid down and put his head on the football to sleep, mocking the news about dozing off. Immediately hit with a 15-yard penalty and some yelling from Parcells...
Jacksonville up 34-0 on Tennessee
Miami up 21-10 on Chicago
Houston up 10-7 on New York
Shockey and Cooley have scored. 19-19 WAS-DAL, 14-10 NYG over HOU.
Miami up 28-13 on the Bears. :yay
The refs just farged over Cincinatti on a key 4th down play by not calling an obvious PI.
Housh took off his helmet and screamed at the officials. The Ravens will just run down the clock to 0 now.
Giants win 14-10. :boo
New Orleans routs Tampon in the second half to win 31-14.
Oh my! What an ending to the WAS-DAL game!!
Novak misses a 49yd attempt
Vanderjerk has his 35yd attempt blocked by Vincent.
Taylor picks it up and gets facemasked and runs it back for several yards. 15 added on.
Novak eeks a 47yd FG through to give WAS the 22-19 win.
Wow. Well, it does help the Eagles.
Every time I had the game on, Dallas was doing well. Every time I watched the AFC game, Washington was doing well. I saw the Cowboys score all of their points, and I saw the taterskins score no points.
I don't believe in that shtein, but once I saw the Skins miss that FG and the 'Boys march it down to the 17, I decided to follow the game online instead. It worked!
What a good day for the Birds. Woulda been nice to see NYG lose though.
The end of the Skins/Pukes game was incredible and nausiating at the same time. The only acceptable outcome to that game would have been death. To everyone.
Insane ending to that Dallas/Wash game....
Some other upsets, my picks sucked again. Doing good in money league, though. Go Kellen Winslow.
CHI about to lose 31-13. The Bears gave up 157 to Ronnie Brown.
Will the 72 Fish fly to Foxboro tonight now and root for the Pats?
Will the media blow Vick this week?
Anyone see that INT by Favre as GB was about to tie it up? Horrible!
Been a pretty good day so far. And I love that the Steelers are down 7-0 already (and the Broncos are 1st and goal as I write this). I get off on hearing the weeping on sports radio here. These dopes actually thought last year was the beginning of another dynasty.
I'm way out in first place in both of my leagues this week too, mostly due to Drew Brees.
Fox doesn't show updates. CBS shows too many of mostly meaningless games. Stupid farging networks.
14-0 Denver. The rout is on! :-D
Chicago loses 31-13
New Orleans wins 31-14
St. Louis loses 31-17
Giants win 14-10
Dallas loses 22-19
Atlanta loses 30-14
Green Bay loses 24-10
DALLAS now has 3 division losses
Steelers go for it on 4th and 2 and pass for 35 yards, only to have the receiver fumble it back to the Broncos. :-D
I'm really happy that Pissburgh sucks.
Roethlisberger does his best McNabb scrambling impression and hits Willie Parker in the end zone for 6.
This Steelers-Broncos matchup is the only game with some life this afternoon. Vikings-49ers and Browns-Chargers are field goal kicking snooze fests so far.
Charlie Frye fumbles, Marques Harris takes it for 6.
It was so obvious that Vick's 2 weeks of brilliance was a total fluke. Everyone thinks he turned into Montana overnight. Vick is and will ALWAYS be an average passer at best. He may string together 2 or hell maybe even 3 good passing games in a row. But he'll never get more than that and he'll never be consistent enough to run a passing offense over 16 games.
These late games suck.
Final:
San Francisco 49ers - 9
Minnesota Vikings - 3
:-o
Get Childress!
Gay. CBS chooses 60 minutes over the end of Cle/Sd.
Phreak, take a look at Rex's Gross performance today and rethink that trade I offered you.
No way you're getting Boldin straight up buddy.
Ha! Colston too? Negative.
Rethink Pennington and McNair all year vs. Grossman two bad games. :-*
Some of us got Drew Brees for Reggie Williams. I are teh awsome.

yaya, a wins a win ..i..
still scratchin my pickle about why we sucked so bad on O considering how well we played against your D. ??? not trying to take a cheap shot there but I didnt expect to be shut down like that :(
Your offense is better than what it showed today, and your defense is way worse than what it showed today. It was just a fluke game, kinda like every time the taterskins get a W.
Was it just me, or did the mighty Belichick out-coach himself last night? WTF was up with the fake reverses, reverse screens, etc... It was like he was trying to create turnovers...Not that Brady wasn't absolutely suck-tastic either. Its just really uncomfortable to be sitting there, agreeing with Madden while he's trashing the coaching god of football...
Bellicheck=cocky douche
Manning=over patriots regular season hump, still a choke artist in playoffs

QuoteStrahan will be on crutches for next week

Giants Pro Bowl defensive end Michael Strahan's worst fears did not come true but he also wasn't given the best of news today.
Strahan told FOXSports.com on the way back from his mid-morning MRI that doctors have told him he'll be on crutches for at least the next week because of sprained ligaments in his right foot.
"They told me anywhere from two to eight weeks, they don't know for sure," said a very somber Strahan. "It's really up to how long it takes to heal. It's not torn but it's similar to the injury that I had as a rookie that kept me out for several weeks."
Strahan has been told to keep off his foot for at least the next week and doctors will take another look at the foot after the Bears game.
"They said the way I got it I was lucky because if I injured it by someone coming down on the back of my heel, that would have been much worse," he said. "I guess we'll just have to wait and see how fast I can come back from this. I want to get back in there as soon as I can."
The Bears-Giants matchup will certainly be without one star due to a foot injury and now we may have to wait a little to see if it will be without another. Brian Urlacher told FOXSports.com that an MRI this morning showed he too has a sprained ligament.
Unlike Strahan, however, Urlacher sounds like he's planning to play in Week 10.
"If it's up to me I will," Urlacher said. "They told me it all depends on how much pain I can take. I can deal with that."
If Osi isn't back Grossman will have a ton of time...
The Giants were lucky to hold on yesterday for the win. They will LIKELY be 7-4 heading into a home game with Dallas week 13, then the following non-gimme games:
at Carolina
PHILLY
NEW ORLEANS
at Washington
Their schedule isn't really any easier than the Eagles. If the Eagles continue to falter, however, then that week 13 game could very well decide the division. The Cowboys' schedule from here on out is relatively friendly:
at Arizona - WIN
INDY - LOSS
TAMPA - WIN
at NYG - ??
NEW ORLEANS - LOSS
at Atlanta - ??
PHILLY - ??
DETROIT - WIN
Again... I think their week 13 matchup will definitely be for first place in the division.
Oakland was shut out 16-0. Walter was sacked 9 times....
NINE...TIMES....

You aint getting shtein for Grossman with his showing his zestyness plus Berrian being injured for the next month...unless you throw in something to make the deal sweet.
