Title: Shoulderpad Sean
Post by: bowzer on October 21, 2006, 06:45:36 AM
For some reason that douchebag was at my Midnight madness last nite (St Joseph's).  The guy thought he was a celebrity.  Our school promised use that Ryan Howard was coming, and farging shoulderpad sean was there instead, wearing his shoulderpads and his dawkins jersey.  I wish I could have run into him, so I could tell him how much of a douchebag he is, but I didn't get the chance.

1. Gayest mascot in all of sports. Prancing around like a little fairy boy. Lame.

2. Coach is ugly, bald, fat, annoying, a mediawhore, a turd.

3. Fan base thinks they are better than ours, which is the exact same thing they hate about Villanova. Well that makes sense.

4. All those years of playing college ball and they make the elite eight once. Hooray.

farg ST JOES.

He booed McNabb as did thousands of other people at their homes who will deny it. I wasn't one of them, but a ton of people booed McNabb, and I'm sure people did here but will deny it til their grave. Deep down inside they know they did so it doesn't matter.  8)

Don't be sad because Sport Illustrated ranked the chant "The Hawk will never die" at about #12 when they made a list of great things about college sports.

Also, don't be upset that your lame fans put on red shirts and tried to infilitrate our student section at the St Joes/Nova game two years ago at the Palestra, until they got their asses thrown out.

Let's also not forget when Ed Wade's ugly daughter, and team manager of Nova, flipped me off and motioned at us to come fight her, cause we heckled her about her horrible dad.

Last but not least, what has Villanova done lately?  I'll take a perfect season and being one crackhead's shot away from the Final Four, then Villanova's pathetic run the last years... claiming conspiracies about UNC.

im sure they'll settle for their national championship over your lightning in a bottle year.  not to mention that they actually play in a real conference.  oooh, dayton, that's big time.

I don't give two shteins abou Nova. Main line snobs. But SJU-Nova is supposed to be the Holy War. I've heard Hawks fans complain about Nova's sense of self importence and how they look down on SJU. But this is exactly how SJU looks at Temple. And were a better program than you, in the long run. Not right now, no. Soon, yes. But overall? Temple.

That story about Wade's whore of a daughter is pretty funny, I'll give you props there.

Can't say anything about some of the idiots that go here. Just like a lot of the idiot Eagles fans. You just ignore them and know they don't actually represent your fan base, but are rather a small minority of morons.

And let us remember, SJU is a program that is pleased with the NIT. At Temple, if you don't win, you get shtein. We don't take the NIT as acceptable.

And I could care less what SI thinks of your lousy chant. It's about as lame as your mascot.

I hate god damn St. Joe's. They are such bitches. They whined their way out of getting the Temple home game when students are on campus. It's in the first week of January. Game at the Palestra should be fun, hopefully we get a nice road crows of students and take over the game like we did against La Salle (except the team sucked and lost like the losers that they were).

St. Joe's is going to make the Tournament this year and as long as the bald one coaches them, they will have a better program than Temple.

1985 is lately??? That's over 20 years ago...

Talk to Jameer Nelson to... ranked 7th best point guard by ESPN this year.

I don't know where you get that we look down on Temple fans, I certainly don't.  Sure there's a lot of douchebags at St Joe's, but there are douchebags at every school.  St Joe's certainly isn't happy with the NIT.  Sure it was fun the sophomore year when Pat Caroll shot us to the finals, but last year no one wanted to be in it, and no one cared.

Also, about Wade's daughter, I was actually mentioned by Deangelo Citaldi the next morning..  Not by name or anything, but he discussed how classless a St Joe's fan one who heckled Ed Wade's daughter.  Originally, I was the one who discovered it was her, and was saying stuff to her cause I was behind the bench, then our student section heard me and her going back and forth and started chanting Pat Gillick.  Fun times though.

PS.  Does Temple have any thugs this year that will try to injure St Joe's players again??? ;)

I just wish Ingram would have injured someone more important that John Bryant. What a waste of a good idea.

Just watch out for Ryan Brooks. He's gonna be good.

We also don't have a center because Wayne Marshall is academically ineligiable, and isn't even participating in practices. So who knows if he's in shape, if the coaches will want to play him, and if he even wants to play. Mark Tyndale will be back by the end of the semester.

I think this is the first official  :CF big 5 board war.   Someone needs to pretend to defend La Salle.

It's ok Sunmo because St Joe's is in the history books for going 27-0, something only a few other schools can claim to have done.

We're a mid major school, we aren't going to compete in the tourney every year like Duke, that's just how it is.  However, we got a rich history... especially during Dr. Jack's tenure as our coach, when we rarely loss.

How the hell was the Jameer Nelson and Delonte West year lightning in a bottle?  It's not like a bunch of mediocre players had a career year (93 Phillies for example) against all odds.

Two of the best players in college basketball carried the team on their back.

West is still a bitch though.

lightning in a bottle = one great year, not be repeated.  no matter how it happened.  in 93 the Phillies were the best team in baseball.

as for LaSalle, they've had a better history than St. Joes, so no need to defend them

Jameer got hurt the year before that, otherwise there would have been two great years.  So you can go lick my balloon knot.  Jerk.

I have no idea what you people are talking about.  I mean, I know you're talking about small colleges which I remotely recognize as existing, but I couldn't tell you where they are, and are you talking about basketball, not football?

Pretty lousy thread.  Started out bad, got worse.

Dio, they're all Philly (or at least the suburbs in the case of Villanova) schools.  They have a long rivalry.

Oh, wait, you don't care.  Never mind.  :paranoid

SS also gets paid to wear a SEPTA patch on his jersey.

Like SEPTA needs to advertise. And like they can afford to spend money on stupid stuff. Those jackjobs have a work stoppage every 38 seconds.

Says the guy who points to Jack Ramsey's 1955 - 1966 reign as the glory years of St. Joe's basketball. Were they still using peach baskets back then?

We'll stick with our one NCAA Championship during the modern era, thanks.
