Any rumors other than MGJ? Any truth to the stuff about Rayburn being used in the game to show he is healthy so another team would go ahead with a trade? Any rumors about a big RB? ;D
Randy Moss to the Pats is picking up steam--according to PFT.com. Maybe Nate Clements to the Bucs; but I haven't read any Eagles' trade rumors. I just got finished perusing the rumors page on Foxsports.com--none on there.
i doubt it'll be moss, probably porter.
I was listening to ESPN over the weekend and someone there said that Michael Turner of the Chargers becomes a restricted free agent at the end of the year. He suggested that the Eagles try and pick up Turner because the Chargers aren't going to be able to afford him next year.
Not a bad suggestion in my mind. Turner is a brusing back the Eagles need to compliment Westbrook.
Know it won't happen but it was a great idea.
Adam Schefter started that in his NFL.com column.
No way SD gives up Turner.
why would we even get him? we have CBUCK WOO WOO!

The Pats just drafted a WR in the first round and traded for Doug Gabriel. Going after Moss/Porter would be a strange idea.
Skins fans, most of them anyway, are begging for the Skins to trade TJ Duckett.
I wonder if they'll deal him? It would be funny to see them essentially deal a 3rd round pick for a 5/6/7th rounder if they do let him go. Or maybe they get a fring eplayer in return.
I heard Andy is trying to deal Reno to McDonalds for a Big Mac value meal. Andy wants a Super Size, but McDonalds is holding strong at a medium...lets see if this gets done.
A deal was in place but the fries aren't willing to waive their no trade claus.
Negotiations fell through at the last minute as the Eagles were about to sign, the McDonalds negotiator asked Fat Andy, "Would you like anything else with your deal?".
Don't be stupid. The deal fell through because they wouldn't give him the Monopoly pieces.
Who are you kidding...Reid wouldn't deal Reno for Tomlinson.
I really wish I could disagree with you Zanshin. I really do.
Tomlinson and a 5th, maybe.
Pasquarelli trades that make sense:
Quote• Philadelphia DT Sam Rayburn to Indianapolis: The Colts' most recent experiment with a defensive tackle who began his career in Philadelphia, underachieving Corey Simon, was a flop, which is why Indianapolis could stand to add another veteran at the position. Like Simon, fourth-year veteran Sam Rayburn is bigger (303 pounds) than what the Colts prefer on the defensive line, but he does have some quickness and one-gap ability. Colts coaches keep pinning their deficiencies versus the run on poor tackling, but that isn't the lone problem, and another front-four body would be a plus. Rayburn, 26, had been the odd man out in the eight-lineman rotation Eagles' coordinator Jim Johnson has been using, but finally dressed on Sunday and posted one tackle. He has played in 42 games, with four starts, and has 89 tackles and nine sacks. An undrafted free agent in 2003, the former Tulsa star really flashed in 2004, when he notched six sacks. He is under contract through 2011 at palatable base salaries that top out at $950,000 in the final year of his deal.
• Tennessee RB Chris Brown to Houston or Philadelphia: OK, so the onetime 1,000-yard rusher isn't the kind of one-cut back who fits best into the Texans' offense, and he lacks some of the skills the Eagles want in their tailbacks. But when you're as inept at running the football as the Texans are (quarterback David Carr, with 16 yards, was Houston's top rusher Sunday), you've got to do something. And with Brian Westbrook's balky knee making him a weekly concern in Philadelphia, the Eagles could use a proven veteran as an insurance policy. Chris Brown's agents have been requesting a trade since training camp, and with Travis Henry (51 carries for 301 yards in the last two weeks) and LenDale White now ahead of him on the depth chart, the former Colorado star has become an afterthought. Two caveats: Brown is an upright runner who takes a lot of shots and whose durability has always been a question. Second, he's in the final year of his contract and is eligible for unrestricted free agency next spring. If a team traded for Brown, it would want him to sign an extension, rather than just play rent-a-tailback for the rest of this year.
I wonder what they could get for Sam? Probably a draft pick.
But is a 5th or lower draft pick worth keeping 5 healthy DTs? I don't think so. If someone goes down its nice to have depth.
I'm not really a Chris Brown fan. What kind of impact could we expect him to have? He'd be coming into a system that doesn't exactly fit his strengths. And they'd likely have to give up a pick for him. They already gave up a 4th (maybe a 3rd if he signs) for Stallworth. Would they really give up another mid round pick? I doubt it.
Meh...the Eagles will never run the ball again anyway...ever.
Running the ball is for losers. Let's get Kevin Johnson.
OHMYGODMARKECKEL!
