Watching a bit of the Colts game a few ago the one of the announcers sais his absense wasn't related to his knee injury. His source at the time told him that what ever was wrong with him wasn't football related and the team didn't know if he would be playing football again at any point in his career.
The rumors have been out there but no one knew for sure until this report.
