Title: Hank Baskett
Post by: SOARIN EAGLE on October 13, 2006, 10:11:06 AM
Congrats to Baskett. Hank basketts catch on Sunday marked the first time an undrafted rookie caught a ball for 87 yards or more in the first season. Also it was the longest catch by an undrafted player at any point in a career in the NFC in 37 years.

There was only one other catch longer in NFL history by an undrafted player in a career. The catch was made by Marc Boerigter while with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2002.

I said on a different board, even if Hank never did another thing for the Eagles, he's already done more than that UVA bust McMullen ever did...

I wonder if Childress thinks AR skunked him?

What? So which is it? the longest catch in 37 years or the longest catch in 4 years?
