Watching the passion, fire, and verve with which he leads this team, both offensively and defensively, is quite a spectacle. Every team has a leader. For the Ravens it's Ray Lewis, for the Chargers it's Shawne Merriman, for the taterskins it's Mark Brunell, and for the Eagles, I'd say it's undoubetdly Michael Lewis. I don't know where we'd be without him... he's a soldier. He is the heart and soul of this Eagles team. I can already see him hoisting the Lombardi Trophy over his head. :)
Also, I'd like to say hi to all my fellow Eagle fans! This is my first post, and I'm sure we'll have some fun over the remainder of the season.

I beg to differ. Michael Lewis is the HEART of the team. He may not be the best player (I'd put McNabb in front of him), but he is the emotional leader of the team. He keeps everyone in gear, makes sure that the Eagles lose no momentum, and keeps everyone in the game. I dare you to name a more suitable leader on this team. I tip my hat at you sir, if you do.

Lewis is alright. He's not worth the money he's gonna demand, so this will be his last season in Philly. GF was calling him Retard 2 last night, and the moniker fits. He doesn't cover very well, getting burned often. He's too aggressive, bites on the run fake or underneath pattern too easily. And he draws too many penalties.
He's one of Andy Reid's project draft picks that turned out great. Got him cheap on account of the heart flutter thing, and he's proven to be more valuable than where he was drafted. That said, he's gone after this season because someone will pay way, way more than Lurie/Banner will, and I can't really say I blame them.
Heart of the D he's not. That's Dawkins. Anyone thinks otherwise isn't paying attention. After that, Trotter is second in line. Lewis is just a veteran safety who happens to play for the Eagles.

Actually I think it's a cowpuke troll.
Three possibilities here:
1. He got our two starting safeties mixed up
2. He never saw the Eagles play before last night and thinks that Michael Lewis and Greg Lewis (both of whom were great last night) are the same person
3. He's trying to stir up trouble
