If anyone has written a book and had it published Id like to pick your brain. Shoot me an IM. That is all.
When I was in 3rd grade I wrote a short story about a rabbit and his elephant sidekick. It was 5 pages long and my teacher stapled the pages between a couple pieces of cardboard and put it in our school library. Some kid checked it out and was late returning it. He had to pay a quarter for his late fee. I have yet to see any part of that quarter. >:(
That's crazy. You can't make an elephant a sidekick for a rabbit!
Read about this publishing site a couple of months ago in some business magazine or another. It gives you total control of pricing, covert art, editing, etc. The only price you pay is the manufacturing, which is supposedly minimal. Anyway, check it out.

More royalties "the man" has screwed me out of.
if i wasn't "the man" i would probably hate him too
I had a letter published in "Penthouse Letters" one time. Does that count?
